Upon arrival, things got off to a bit of a rough start. Room 210, while advertised with a sea view, had a very limited one, which wasn't a huge deal. The most unpleasant part was the leaky pipe by the toilet. My request to switch rooms with the front desk wasn't successful. After adjusting my mindset and accepting it, it was fine—the water was clean anyway, and I was there to relax, so no need to dwell...
Every time I visit Koh Phi Phi, I stay at this hotel. It's not far from Tonsai Pier, offering a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling area. At night, you can hear the longtail boats passing by on the sea. Although the breakfast selection isn't huge, it's more than enough, and they offer different options daily.
Really enjoyed my stay here!
- Friendly staff
- Great location, away from some of the busier areas in Phi Phi but easy to walk everywhere, particularly to the lovely quieter beaches on the island
- Decent accommodation, comfortable and quiet
- Offer free transfers to and from the main pier
- Breakfast was okay, the variety of options could be improved
- Some of the facilities could be improved too...
Overall, a great experience!
**Facilities:** The independent cabins are really unique and charming.
**Cleanliness:** Very good, spotless.
**Environment:** The air is filled with the refreshing scent of the sea breeze.
**Service:** Everyone was very friendly. It's perfect for a relaxing 'lie-flat' hotel stay. There are many cute, free-roaming cats on the mountain, which adds to the laid-back vibe
Our stay at Bayview was fine for the 3 days…we were hardly at our room though.
The location is fabulous- close enough to walk to the hustle and bustle of restaurants, the pier and entertainment. If you have little children the walk could be lengthy.. but was fine for us. It is the last resort before the famous Long Beach so there is a lot of foot traffic to Long Beach each day in the peak season....
We had a fantastic stay at Bayview Resort and wish we had longer! It was located just out of the main town centre which was great as it was nice to leave the hustle and bussle for quieter atmosphere.
The facilities here were great, having such a nice beach on your doorstep was amazing.
Staff were great especially the bell boys who helped with our luggage from the pier and to the room as I will warn...

Beautiful view, good breakfast. About a 10-minute walk to the city center.
The best hotel in Thailand. We suffered for the first 3 night in another hotel on Phi Phi and we couldn’t sleep coz of the loud noises from the beach parties but then we moved to U Rip and it was th best decision ever - clean, new, SILENCE, nice pool and great area far from the parties. But still accessible coz it is like 15 min walk. Totally recommend especially if you are a light sleeper 👌
For the price the room is not bad, the location is a little far from the night market. Our rooms was in mountains a bit, if you are young in not difficult to live there. But was a lot of mosquitoes in the night cause was mountainous area, but the problems wasn’t the mosquitoes but drunk Russians couples who was till the morning fighting.
Good places for families. Calm but far to the beach where the fiesta
Great hotel & location a little bit away from the hustle & bustle of the port area...beautiful little stretch of beach to walk out to & have a relaxing time at. Definitely wouldn't hesitate to give this hotel another go around my next time in the islands.
The room was very clean. The pool is beautiful. The cool bottles of water for us at the beginning were a special gift. Also the receptionist and the staff.

Monkey place, terrible breakfast.
The floor was full of dust on arrival. otherwise nothing to complain about. Environment, Swimming Pool, Breakfast and other facilities were very good.
The room that I got was outside the resort in a place that looked like staff quarters
Not clean.
Bad room.
Bad services.
Bed not comfortable
Bad experience.
The hotel is nice, very clean with a good location and very good facilities, it has two pools and one is located at the rooftop with very nice views. The only bad thing was on the breakfast buffet were the cooker refuse to prepare scrambled eggs with fresh eggs, he insisted in a rude way that the mix for the omelette made with milk, salt and butter was the same as fresh eggs. I have to complain with...
Garden view was actually a view on a building… Service was not great, breakfast was very very limited, staff not the most polite: you expect a goodbye when you say goodbye.

If you're going to Charlie, you need to understand that it consists of several very old buildings with small, rundown rooms located within the Princess Hotel. The Princess is an excellent and vibrant four-star hotel with a great territory, location, and beachfront breakfasts that compensate for the inconveniences of poor Charlie. But overall, you get what you pay for.
Very good located hotel. My room was outdated, however hotel have new rooms, not sure if you can select them during reservation, but try. Amazing breakfast and pool. D Build is near from the street a little noise during night.
Another nice place to stay on Phi Phi. Love the atmosphere here also the breakfast beside the beach.
The location is excellent. However, the room amenities are very old, and the room was uncomfortable to stay in. The exterior and overall outside condition of the hotel are good.
Good recommendations! The location is very good and convenient. The pool area is nice and staff are very helpful, especially Mr.Aim and Miss May. Thank you for makes our stay wonderful. We will come back❤️
The location is decent, but I'm not sure if it's because we're Chinese, but both rooms we were assigned were at the very end of the hall. We tried talking to the hotel, but they said they couldn't switch our rooms, even though we checked in at 11:00 AM and the hotel seemed to be mostly occupied by Europeans. Our room was right next to a bar on the street, and it was noisy until 3:00 AM.

Very nice place and environment.. people are very kindly
Excellent hotel! The staff is fantastic! Everything was superb! We are thrilled! The location is great 👍👍👍, the organization was top-notch, everything was on time! 👍👍
Location: The hotel is located on the opposite side of Tonsai Pier. A hotel representative meets you upon arrival. You can reach the town by taking a path that passes two viewpoints. The path is challenging, but the view is unforgettable. We took a boat back.
Beach: During our stay, high tide peaked between 11 AM and 12 PM, so comfortable swimming was only possible until about 2 PM. We also experienced...
We fell in love with this place, it is amazing, its beaches are spectacular, for hiking it is also very good! If you like to walk a lot you can get to another beach nearby. As for the customer service only with a reception girl we felt that she had no charisma or good disposition to serve us, the cleanliness very good, and the cabins are very comfortable. 100% recommended 😍😍
We had the best time in this hotel. We will come back! My son has severe nut allergy and thanks to all the staff who was always careful with his food in the kitchen we enjoyed our holidays. Great food by the way!
Very nice location facing the sea. Many noisy long tail boats crossing close to the shore.

Very friendly staff top accommodating and a perfect location. I would definitely come back.
It is nice hotel for family . Near to beach , clean and stuffs are so nice and helpful , i recommended this hotel .
Nice location away from rush of city.
It was decent, nothing spectacular. The price was quite high, probably because it's peak season in Koh Phi Phi. The hygiene was good, and the service was fine. The location is convenient, just a short walk to the beach.
Great location, good breakfast. but departure time is 11.00 a little inconvenient
For me the experience it wasn’t good. The location is perfect, just in the town. But this standard room is very simple and basic. In the listening everything looks great, but the reality is different. For a moment I thought I would have a bungalow or something similar because they call their self “resort”, but for me, this is a normal hotel. The breakfast is ok, but I sow a lot of insects on the fruits...

Excellent location, deluxe room has comfy soft beds. Nice small warm pool. Very quiet to sleep. Good service and excellent breakfast for 3* hotel!! Latte, cappuccino, omelette, chicken bacon, pancakes and so on.. will be back one day!
This is a nice resort in the bustling streets of Phi Phi. If budget and access to the island streets is your priority then this a good resort. They have decent breakfast options. The room layout is confusing. If you are old people with knee issues then the beds are lower to the floor. If you reach the resort after 5pm they don't have staff to help you with the luggage.
The resort staff are incredibly kind and warm-hearted. I know I’ll miss them once I leave.
I was extremely satisfied with the overall service and facilities throughout the resort. Everything was well taken care of, and it truly felt like a place to rest and recharge.

The showerhead was broken, and there was no toothbrush. The location is pretty good, and the hotel staff helped with our luggage.
This is a wonderful resort located in the middle of Ton Sai Bay on Koh Phi Phi. The location is perfect, close to a lot of famous cafes and restaurants. The rooms are modern with a vintage touch. Our room had direct access to the pool which was super nice. The pool itself is large with a bar in the middle, with some seats inside the pool.
Overall, I really liked the design and amenities of this resort...
It was alright. The bathroom was pretty basic, and showering wasn't very convenient. The soundproofing in the room was decent, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was also good, but the only downside was that it was on a high floor with no elevator.

Loved this rustic resort. The beach was private with white sand, suitable balance of sun and shade as well as being close to the bar. We booked the best room in the resort and it didn’t disappoint. The bathroom was amazing but I especially appreciated all the carvings around the resort. Thank you to the Viking team.
The hotel is a bit removed from all the hustle and bustle, which we really enjoyed. There weren't crowds of people, but at the same time, we loved taking an evening stroll along the path to the center. The hotel has its own small beach, not many people, and there's enough space for everyone. You can also walk to Long Beach. The rooms are compact but have everything you need. We had a sea view. There...
The best hotel on Phi Phi, with a wonderful breakfast and its own private beach.
A very nice hotel located outside the main center, but accessible both on foot (25 minutes) and by taxi boat (300 baht return). The hotel also provides a scheduled shuttle service (not many).
We stayed in room D1, which I recommend, as it faces the sea.
The restaurant is very good.
There's also an off-site massage center on the beach with very reasonable prices (400 or 500 baht for one hour).
Recommend if you want a jungle vibe far from centre. Bring repellents and water shoes. Fantastic details and woodwork across the Resort and rooms. Cheapest bungalow is really small - consider upgrading if you plan to stay for longer than 1-2 days. Surprisingly - best breakfast across all other (5* too) hotels during our trip!
We had a wonderful stay at Viking Resort. The views from the room were breathtaking – waking up to them each morning was a highlight. Housekeeping deserves particular recognition as the room was made up perfectly every day and the attention to detail was impressive.

Placed at an isolated area and good for family time or friends. There are spacious courtyards, nice swimming pool.
Breakfast is good and is halal. The local masjid is also nearby. 🕌
The staff carry guests baggage on trolley to the nearby Ferry pier upon check-out. 🛒
We were looking for a hotel for two nights and settled on this option. The breakfasts were excellent! The location is superb! Far from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are spacious. While swimming in the pool, we saw a monitor lizard nearby 😀 We were shocked by its beauty. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The pool is very warm and large; I took a photo with my cake in front of it 🐯
We booked a room for just one night. It was quiet as it's away from the bars and party areas. The beach was also surprisingly close, about 500 meters away. The room had a nice view, and although it showed some wear and tear, the interior was pleasant. There's a 1000 baht deposit, and we'd read reviews about them fining for everything (they even have it written down). So, we photographed everything...
I don't know why everyone's saying it's cheap. 23,000 for two nights isn't exactly budget-friendly! But! I'll tell you!
The location is 10/10. It's a large, cozy area, away from the noise, with swings, lawns, and a pool. It's very romantic. The staff was friendly. We checked in at 12:00. All the rooms are doubles. There were three of us (one 12-year-old). They didn't charge us any extra money, and...

This hotel truly deserves 5 stars!
Room: Modern, high-end, and spotless. Everything feels brand new with a fresh scent. Toiletries and amenities are top quality.
Reception & Service: Outstanding! The staff went above and beyond, helping us book tours and transportation to Phuket at the same online price (unlike other hotels that charge extra). They even allowed a late checkout to match our ferry...
Clean, renovated rooms in a convenient location. In fact, the hotel was sold out the two nights we stayed. It loses two stars because of the awful smell coming out of the shower. Can't figure out why, but ended up mixing a lot of shampoo down the drain to hide the sewage smell. Sorry, wouldn't stay here again, just for that reason. Staff was polite and courteous. Two floors, no elevator which shouldn...
I did A LOT of research to pick my hotel on Phi Phi and this hotel was honestly amazing, I’m sad I only stayed one night! It’s probably the nicest hotel in the busy Phi Phi area, the rooms feel high end, nice air conditioning, nice lobby and service. It is next to a town speaker that does a prayer a few times a day (one is at like 5 am) but they provide ear plugs and it only lasts like 2 minutes. While...
Clean & comfy room, great value for 1-night stay
The hotel is newly renovated and the room was nice, comfy, clean & modern. The staff was friendly & the location is great - it’s in the centre and just next to the pier.
They also have an air-conditioned waiting room, which was handy when we had to wait for our ferry after we checked-out.
Some little cons are that the bathroom was a little smelly...
We stayed for two nights at Panmanee Hotel, and honestly, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The only minor issue was that while many hotels had agents at the pier to pick up their guests, we had to find the location ourselves using Google Maps. However, it was easy to find, just about 250 meters from the pier, so we didn’t need any assistance.
The location was excellent—right near a vibrant street...
Had an amazing stay here. Best part was the location - close to Pier, great food options. Also the hotel got renovated recently, so it is top notch in every service.
The only bad aspect was the room size which was reasonable, but given the pricing, I don't think you can find anything better with such great location.

I booked a room at this hotel for my brother. He loved it! The view from the balcony is amazing! It's not a long walk from the pier. The hotel is also located halfway to the observation deck. The room was clean, the breakfasts were delicious. I definitely recommend it!

Everything perfect. The view is amazing, the crew super helpful and the room is great. It has some stairs to get there but it worth it for the view of the room. Location is also great, close to everything, we loved it
Let’s start for the good … the hotel view is astonishing, just few minutes from the phiphi view point so if you are a sunset lover this is the pace .

Upon entering the room, I found a dead cockroach on the floor, and a small one the next day. The hotel exterior is decent, but the interior looks more like a standard guesthouse. However, given the peak season, this was the only option for the price. The lady boss at the front desk was okay, but despite requesting daily cleaning, it wasn't done. The service overall is quite poor.
The place was clean and right near the beach.
Was loud at night but wasn't an issue to me you can hear the music from the beach at night.
Close to view points if you want to see them around 10 minute walk to the main part.
I would stay here again. Laundry service and a shop right close by also an ATM
Good hotels are hard to find in this island so you have to consider that because this place is one of the best in the area, one of the few with a pool and a good pool with amazing view. The rooms are big and comfortable, they are designed like individual houses. Pro tip, long tail boat drivers hangout at McDonalds so you may to cut the middle man on a private tour.
This hotel offers cozy bungalows that are a real treat to stay in. Some of them boast stunning views of the bay, which was a highlight of my trip. The grounds are beautifully green and well-kept, adding to the overall charm. The hotel is perched on a slope, though, and in the heat, trekking up to your bungalow can be quite a challenge. One wild moment was when monkeys from the nearby forest climbed...

Beautiful hotel, perfect location if you would like to enjoy the sea or their beautiful infinity pool.
Strongly advised for relax
I don't have too many good things to share. The hotel is in a central location, but the access to it from the Ritz is very long on foot and there is no transportation on the island. We booked a "villa" with 2 rooms, a living room and a bedroom. The TV in the living room was not connected to anything except electricity, so it was of no use. The location of this hotel is great, and the view from the pool is undeniably incredible. Unfortunately, I feel like they count on this as the main feature and hope that we will see past the old rooms and average breakfast. For the price paid, I do feel like the rooms could be upgraded slightly as they were old and dusty. The breakfast was okay, but it is not outstanding by any means.
Hotel location is good and hotel is awesome .
A nice hotel that’s really close to the beach at the back of the place. Unfortunately we didn’t have good experiences with the food or the service. Lovely quiet spot right on the beach. Excellent for quiet relaxing break.
Well, it was such a disappointment!
I’ll start from the pluses it’s a nice view and beach, but that’s it, you can find the same on the other parts of Phi-Phi.

The hotel is situated relatively low on a hillside, with bungalows on stilts. It's a budget-friendly option. There's no fridge, but there is air conditioning. Everything worked, except there was no water early in the morning, so I had to go on my excursion without washing up. There's a very basic pool.
Cool bungalows on the hill. Great sea view, and the bungalow itself was clean and tidy. Yes, there are gaps in the floor and walls, as mentioned in other reviews, but I didn't encounter any critters or insects. Good water pressure from the shower. I was really impressed that a staff member carried my backpack all the way to the bungalow – that was a nice touch! Be aware that if you're not in good physical...
Best in budget. I took a sea view room, and it was the best. You can hear the sound of the waves. I had chilled beer and enjoyed the sound of the wind and waves.
Very basic, functional but no aesthetics. Their neighbors burn plastic daily in the evenings and it stinks.
The mosquito net is too small and I got bites all night. There are small openings in that building so you cannot keep them out.
Every night until 1a.m. party music from a remote party.
Phi Phi is beautiful during daytime but unless you’re in your twenties and want to party, I wouldn’t recommend...
It was a cheap place far from the center but I would say it was stayable but very far would not recommend you to stay here if you have big heavy luggages
Spectacular view from the room and very friendly staff! They have a nice deck/restaurant to lounge in as well
The music wasn’t really that loud so didn’t bother us much (woke up at 6 to dive everyday we were there comfortably)

Phi Phi Islands, Phi Phi Island, 74/1 Moo. 7, Ao Nang 🧭 Map
The view from the room and the hotel is absolutely stunning. We had a wonderful stay and the boat service is super convenient. 10/15mn from town by walk
beautiful view and amazing staff. great spot that feels like it’s on the outside of the town and quiet but is still close enough to join in on the nightlife with a short walk.
air conditioning makes a big difference and is amazing, as is the hot showers.
lovely fresh food and drinks at the sky deck for breakfast, lunch and dinner, do not need to go anywhere else if you need to eat.
the beautiful sea...
Beautiful room and great view from the window. Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Very good that it offers boat service from hotel to the pier after check out.
The location is a bit remote, and it will take some physical strength to carry large luggage. The room has an approximate appearance and feels great. Thank you to the boss for providing 2 breakfasts, coffee and fruit.
One of the best resort of my trip. The view on the bay is just wonderful. All of the staff is really kind and very professional. The access is not of the easier but they pick up our luggage so that’s just very nice to walk close to the see I will come back for sure thank’s a lot ♥️♥️
The view and friendly staff are really the only good things this property has. The location is off the beaten path and quite the climb. Would not recommend for anyone with children or elderly. AC was absolutely terrible. Felt like a legit sauna. Doesn't look at all like the photos. Rooms are mediocre at best. Not worth the price.

Phi Phi Islands, Phi Phi Island, 138 Moo 7, Long Beach 🧭 Map
The hotel is right on the seashore. It has beautiful grounds with lots of greenery. The bungalows are a bit old, and the cleanliness inside isn't perfect. Breakfasts are good, and the prices at the cafe are standard. In the evening, you can enjoy a delicious and beautiful dinner to the sound of the waves.
Possibly the best hotel on Long Beach. At least, the most authentic. Everything in the rooms is in Thai style, made of wood (other hotels are in more generic styles).
Unfortunately, when I booked, there wasn't a single room available for 4 days. So, I had to buy two different rooms.
While planning my vacation, we decided to take my 10-year-old child with us.
The first was a bungalow in the garden. I've written a review before: very cool and cozy Thai-style houses, wooden themselves, and all the furniture is wooden.
The second room was supposed to be in a two-story...
Excellent hotel, amazing atmosphere, delicious food, friendly staff. If there is heaven on earth, it's here 🤗
A word of warning to those visiting later: Staying at Phi Phi Island isn't necessary; a day trip is sufficient. If you absolutely must stay, choose a location near the port for convenient dining and shopping. Long Beach is quite average, with numerous underwater reefs and numerous small rocks on the beach. A round-trip taxi boat ride to the port for dining at this hotel costs 200 baht, and the hotel...
We stayed in room K2, and it was a truly pleasant experience. The reception staff were kind and welcoming. Overall, people on this island seem a bit reserved and quiet—they don’t smile much, but there’s a calm, peaceful atmosphere that grows on you. I would definitely come back. Thanks.
