Very friendly staff and free wi-fi too!!! We'll return to Trang in a few months and will most definately return for another visit. Very easy to recommend the Green House if you enjoy cake!!

We'd just had drinks elsewhere, but the kind staff served us with iced water, to go with outr choice of two very delicious cakes. They most definitely know how to make good tasting cakes

Nice clean with air con abd TV with some foreign channels. Private toilet with shower with hot water

Two nights at Aladdin is beyond expectation. Clean room. Warm welcoming staff. And the CATs! The location is within reach of everything. With the laundry service downstair, I think this place highly suits a longer stay.

Decent hostel and private rooms were reasonably priced. The customer service was great! room was pretty dirty and the beds weren’t very comfortable, but no worse than any other hostel on the island

The beds were good, rooms were clean, but not much privacy. Good aircon and they give you a padlock and locker for your stuff for free. Only thing that was lacking was water pressure but overall very satisfied

The beds in the dorm rooms were all next to each other which was a little different than the usual bunk bed style. You could hang your towels on the dividers between the beds to have a bit more privacy

Me and my partner we're taken in with such open arms. It was the best stay for us in PHi PHi Island. The lady was so nice and incredible supportive. The room was excellent, really clean and cozy

Very clean little guesthouse, with a nice patio, and a super hospitable Kiwi owner named Allan. It's my new go-to guesthouse for Chiang Mai. The private rooms are super cheap, and are very clean

I initially intended to stay at Nonni Guesthouse for only a few nights, but I ended up extending my stay multiple times, and stayed there for more than three weeks while I looked for a permanent place of residence

Got to know Allen throughout the few days staying here, he's a wonderful individual who truly cares about the people staying in his guest house. Powerful aircon, clean bathroom, soft towels, quiet nights

The rooms cost almost as little as a bed at a local hostel! I actually moved out of a hostel and came here. There air-conditioning is pretty quiet, the bathrooms are clean, and you get towels and soap

The private rooms are spacious and clean, the air conditioning works very well, and all for a price as low as you will find anywhere in the city

This hostel is highly recommended if you’re traveling alone. Place is super sociable, made loads of friends while staying here

I highly recommend this place if you like convenience near the beach, spacious and clean rooms, and daily housekeeping. The reception staff are friendly and solve every problem quickly

It wasn't a big deal for me to relocate to another room so I told the ladies at the front desk to use that money they were offering as a refund and buy the team lunch/dinner but the staff persisted and bought me a ticket to visit the Khai Islands

This is a hidden gem on a short, quiet soi close to the beach, restaurants, bars, shopping centres and attractions. It is clean and well maintained, and the staff is outstanding. It is good value for the room rate.

Rooms are clean, receptionist and staff so nice and helpful. I personally will stay same place next time. Of course cannot expect perfect facilities,but i doubt can book better room with this money

I was there in December 2025 and for the price you're paying, you get great value for money. The service you get was definitely something you'd expect from a minimum 4 star hotel

They are attentive every day, making it a warm hotel experience like staying with family. I will definitely come back and stay here again if I have the chance

Excellent location, just a short walk from main roads with lots of activity and bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Heart of the city, but on a quiet street!

Very basic hostel-style guesthouse. Sooo many rooms and floors, no elevator. Everything was clean and functioning as expected. And the reception is SUPER nice

Ban Wiang was a lovely place to stay. We booked the king sized room through Agoda and it cost us 600 baht a night. The lady who manages the guesthouse was singularly helpful and very friendly

Honestly one of the most friendly and heartwarming hosts i have ever met - Sri made sure to help is with everything to make you stay as enjoyable as it gets 🫶🏻 Location was Great and rooms were very clean

It’s in a very good location there are many bars nearby and just a 15-20 minute walk from the busy areas. It’s tucked down a little side street so it is not noisy at night. Super cheap and great value for money

It had shower blockage but it’s totally fine , with the amount paid. I am not sure below is an open sewer , it smelled very bad or its just a mini river type of thing but somehow the smell was manageable

Amazing little hotel! The front lady is so lovely always asking us if we want water or anything. The rooms are very spacious and the aircon is powerful. Everything was clean and the beds are comfy

First since lockdowns, the hosts John and Jaae provide a warm welcome and a wealth of local knowledge should you need it. The rooms are serviced daily and a water station is available plus daily water in your room

The hosts, John and Jae , gave us amazing recommendations for restaurants, they helped us book a cooking class and Chiang Rai temples tour and both were good, the cooking class with Basil Cookery School was exceptional actually

Cool neighborhood in the Old City

We had a great stay at sleep guest house, which is managed by a lovely couple! The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious and the staff were friendly and welcoming

We had a lovely stay at this guesthouse right in the middle of the old town of Chiang Mai. Rooms are comfortabel and decorated a bit quirky :-). The owners are very helpful and friendly and go to any length to assist you

Can't fault it for the price. You are very nearby a decent sized park (pictured) a 7/11, and a host of coffee shops and restaurants. Stayed here about a week and would come back. Nice view of the mountains too...

Refurbished house. Renovated nicely but needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. Not a popular choice I guess but it's a good one.

The position is very good, and the lady manager is kind and she helped me with thw visa. The hostel is little, with only a little shared space, front the street, there is free water and coffee, good idea

Hairdryer, locker, towel included. Toilet paper only in one toilet. Owner made effort to make the place pretty with plants and sprayed mosquito-repellent. Kitchen area outside but fridge is at the reception

I was happy with the friendly service and quiet room so I booked three more nights. Totally fell in love with the dogs. Location is hard to beat.

Everything was excellent, very clean and a really nice location. The only downside was that the internet was not working in the room, so I had to work on common area. But overall I recommend the accommodation.

Solo traveller needed a private room.  Room was big & clean with AC.  No window but I knew when I booked.  Shared shower was clean & good shower power with hot water.  Mark was always  very helpful & professional

I never heard any noise from my room and slept all night, on a daily basis, just like a baby. DEFINITELY of great value ! Service. this is not a 5 star, but was always delivered, whatever asked for!!

GREAT location! Rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. Beds were really comfy! I stayed in a room with a/c and loved every minute of it. Washrooms very clean too, which is extremely important

He is also an amazing cook! One thing I will say is that if you are not used to the heat then definitely get the room with ac. We had the room with the fan the first night and it was very hot

This has been my favourite place that we’ve stayed our entire trip. He booked us a tour of the nearby islands, recommended places to visit and even booked us a taxi to our next hotel

Andy is a great host and goes out of his way to welcome guests. Big rooms and great bar/cafe downstairs. Staff were great and friendly. Even had a great night out with 6 of the staff

Outstanding host and team hospitality, the rooms are basic but very comfortable and the area is central to everything Pattaya has to offer

It's very clean too! The owner is also a really interesting person; we communicated via WeChat from check-in to check-out. It's within walking distance of Patong Beach and the night market

Haha, I originally booked a bunk bed, but the owner upgraded me to a queen room for free! So happy! The room has a small balcony with a sink, table and chairs, and a drying rack

Crazy one who would not give five stars to this place! I had a wonderful stay, this place is wonderful, in the middle of tropical vegetation, with bird songs and gecko, the owners are lovely, clean room with air conditioning and private bathroom, so comfy, I definitely recommend staying here ❤️

This place is utterly peaceful ! You enter the door and then find lots of trees, wooden bench and terrasse, and tiny cute individual houses, where everything is so quiet ! Perfect place for a stop in the city to visit the historical park

Wonderful place to stay in Kamphaeng Phet. The gardens and layout of Individual rooms have been meticulously created. Many private areas to relax and enjoy the serenity with fresh fruit provided at your convenience

Yes, sound does carry between rooms in this wooden Guesthouse, but one adapts. Footwear needs to be securely stowed on the main floor but again, one adapts

no lift, and only stairs, but for flexible, young (or veteran) travellers the Tamarind is a great find in Ayutthaya. As advertised, it is situated less than 200 m from the gates of the UNESCO designated Historical Park

Awesome guesthouse! I've spent 1 week in this guesthouse and really loved it! I've met a lot of people as the hostel is pretty open with tables outside, the staff is just amazing always smiling and ready to help anytime, the receptionist had some good discounts on the trips and really helped me for everything (renting a scooter, doing my laundry, arranging trips to the islands)

Most of the rooms at The Green Leaf are typical hostel bunk rooms. However, there are single rooms available. We stayed on the 3rd floor in a private room with a queen mattress and a large bathroom

Very humble owners and a great value for the money. The guesthouse is right next to Makro (about 5 minutes away). You can also get fresh fruit right next to the hotel

Truth is, if you're looking to stay somewhere inexpensive with a great host and simple accommodations, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying at The Green Leaf!

So much so that my wife and I started “rounding up” when asked by other travelers how much we were paying for our day trips (On average, we were spending 40-60% less than other westerners who booked their excursions elsewhere)

While we were there, she arranged scooter rentals for us (then made sure we didn’t get ripped off when we got in a minor accident). Overall, the rooms are simple and only act as a place to crash each night

We loved our stay here 22nd - 26th Nov '13 as part of our 3 week holiday. Australian guys who own the guesthouse. Nice room which was cleaned everyday. Sports bar on sight too with great girls who run the bar

Think they made our stay to be honest. A nice change from all the big expensive hotels which are close by. No more than a 5 min walk to the beach or restaurants. Definitely recommended for short stays

If you're seriously considering diving in Koh Tao, it's best to book with The Miracle Guesthouse and Diving. Professional service, including in Polish, is provided by excellent instructors and support staff

Strongly recommend for backpackers- great location in Koh Tao which is easy to get to from pier. Easy to walk to all the nearby food and beaches- pleasant hosts too

Rooms slightly expensive however much better quality than most- also 7-11 right next door which is a bonus

AC is almost unnecessary but there is. Owner offered to bring me to the bus terminal. Unless you have a bike, the dark and dogs will keep you indoors at late night

The room is fine. The owner are kind. There are motor-cycle and bicycle for you, of cause, free of charge. The owner offer to pick you from the airport.

Breakfast is simple, some supermarket bread and jam and powder cafe. But you can go to the cafe down the road bmand get fresh coffee for 1 pound
