Very affordable clean and simple rooms. In good location in Old City, right by Sunday walking market and many restaurants bars and shops.
No hairdryer, but the area is great for walking around. The temple food is cheap, and there's a night market on Sundays.
A small and cozy homestay. Have stayed here twice and will certainly return.
Ampawan Guesthouse is a good budget option. I stayed here for one night in a fan-only room. The room is very basic but clean, including the bathroom. It’s within walking distance of Thapae Gate, which is very convenient
The place is located central but in a nice side street. Close to everything but quiet. The room is clean and spacious. The furniture was a bit older but that's all fine for me. Good value for the price. I can recommend
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions
Stayed here a few times now hence this overdue review. The rooms are clean and the hosts and staff are very friendly and accommodating. There is a pool you can use which is very refreshing
Rooms are very different. We got a small clean room without any view, with ants, with terrible sound isolation.
This is only about our room. Other good reviews about whole guesthouse are correct.
Highly recommend this Hotel if visiting Phattalung. Location is perfect at the foot of the mountain. Very affordable, and the owners are super kind and helpful.. They offer scooter rental for just 300 baht per day
Loved our recent stay here. The owner Paul was great and very helpful. Nice sized rooms and there is also a coffee shop / restaurant on site. Lovely quiet area and lots to do locally if you hire a scooter. 🙏🏻
The swimming pool is a highlight for me. super clean and well maintained with a relaxing area. Paul the owner is on hand with advance on the area you might need with scooter hire available from him also
We spent 3 enjoyable nights here in a upstairs room
The room was spacious and very comfortable with great views. great location to visit the hidden temple and caves. 10 min walk to the train station
Service was good and rooms were very tidy. The place is also in a very convenient location - most things in the old town are reasonably close together and Pat's is also not too far from the gate where everything happens!
Fantastic place to stay in the center of everything in Chiang Mai. Smaller sized rooms but updated and gorgeous view. There are a lot of stairs though. Staff was very helpful and accommodating.
Ha! I didn’t even know this was a B&B. My daughter and I went here for Thai massage during a rain storm. Masseurs were professional and spoke in hushed whispers
It was a pretty good Thai massage and a decent price, 250 baht
And while it is understandable that prices goes up during the holidays there are still many far cheaper places with better standard and amenities
It's not a bad place to stay, however rooms are quite small, looks much bigger in photos

The owners are unique people...make You feel like your at home...with advice and valuable tips.W Thailand....
The exterior of the hotel wasn’t that good and it was kinda hard to find but the room was okey.
Bathroom sink counter space nonexistent. A/C took a long time to cool the room down. Feels more like an average hostel than a hotel. Good value for the money if you don't spend a lot of time in your room
But if you want an early nights sleep its not the place because the noise levels are extremely high until about 3am Monday-Sunday. Very helpful staff members and they're happy to help wherever they can!
The room was decent and exactly what we paid for. The toilet had a bit of mould which made us a little queasy. Room is about 100 sq ft so it's basically space for a bed and some luggage
Great location but that is dependant on what you're looking for. The hotel is in the centre of Patong area and so it's convenient if you want to be close to the bars and night markets
The room doesn’t have glass in the windows, but that’s normal for Thai villages. Since the house is old, it can be a bit noisy during the day, but at night there are no bikes passing by, so you can sleep well
Very good location, close to the market.
The first guesthouse in Mae de Salong .
I stayed in a room with a shared shower, and I really liked it. Everything was clean, and there was a shared hair dryer. The bed was big, the bedding was clean, and the towels were all new
I love this hotel. Beautiful and very cozy. Very friendly staff, the hotel has a wonderful gazebo for work and relaxation
The room is clean, the facilities are intact, and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended
location is good. price is also cheap. good place for budget traveler

The loveliest guesthouse Friendly and safe, lovely staff, very helpful and with good humour. Our children slept in a room a little way from ours, without any problems. They felt super safe from the start
Staying at the All in One Guesthouse was one of the absolute highlights of my trip to Chiang Mai. This beautiful, family-run business exudes warmth and charm, making it a truly special place to stay
I can’t recommend All in One Guesthouse enough and will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Chiang Mai. Thank you, Gilles and family, for making my trip so memorable! -Adam & Ashleigh
They always manage to find a balance between the calm and resourceful guesthouse, and the sulfuric, eventful place where you will meet new friends, and have a few drinks while watching the game
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, reflecting the care and passion the family puts into their guesthouse
I found the guesthouse to be a very typical Thai guesthouse. It is located inside of the old wall. I found several cheap eateries nearby and a charming massage place. Reception is not open for 24 hours
Some of the staff are quite friendly and welcoming
Free water
They had free watermelon on two of the days
Price and location
Cons- sometimes water pressure failed
I felt unwelcome at times(one of the staff)
Mosquitos in the lobby (open air set up)
By the end of my nearly week-long stay I had many bites on my body
The location is very convenient, with a 7-Eleven right downstairs. At night, there is live singing downstairs, sometimes quite late. Not sure if it’s only on certain days, but light sleepers should take note
Friendly staff , even if I arrived late without notice they helped me and made me pay in the morning. The hostel was empty cause of the season but clean with the biggest beds I’ve found in an hostel so far
During one night stay there was no running water 3 times and no electricity once. The hostel looks nicer in the pictures comparing to the reality. There was also intense smell of cleaning products all the time
Overall, this is a budget-friendly hostel in a good location, suitable if you don’t mind some noise and simple facilities
Curtains and a lot of space as well. Air conditioning in the room and shoes free policy. The setting was dark oriented and a lot of things where in diy stile and the whole gave me a chill vibe

I felt like I was standing in my own filth, I had to quickly shower so it doesn’t flood the rest of the bathroom which was a bit annoying. I mentioned this to them and I’m sure they’ll fix it
Beautiful stay! The location is great, walking distance from the beach, pharmacy, restaurants, ATM, gas station and many other things. You can rent a bike through them
A good hotel with friendly and welcoming staff. The room was clean and cozy. They offer kayaks, so you can enjoy a trip down the river and along the shore.
We vacationed as a family in December 2025. The location is great, about a 5-minute walk to the beach, and you can use kayaks for free
The receptionist was incredibly helpful and super nice. The only issue I had in my room was the drain in the shower was very slow
The breakfasts were delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the rooms were clean and spacious
Great place to stay 🙂
Exceptional value
Really nice people run the guest house
Rooms are spacious and clean with lots of hot water and are cleaned on request
Stairs are a bit steep so if you have any mobility problems make sure you can book a room on the ground floor
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Had a great stay at Baan Boa guest House patong. 2 km from Patong beach and Bangla Road. The rooms were neat and clean, very big. you will get water bottle , electric kettle, small refrigerator almira locker etc
Believe me at this price range you will not get better than this guest house in entire Patong area. The hotel staff was very generous and there hospitality was too great
I would really recommend this guest house for those who want a best value for money Room
Stayed there for three nights .good value for money .receptionist helped a lot .but place bit far from crowded area.if you are walkable person you can stay here.less cost .more restaurant and bars at walking distance
Absolutely loved it! The rooms, the view I got from my balcony, the distance from the city center and everything else was simply amazing!

Highly recommend Yindee Stylish Guesthouse – perfect stay in the heart of Chiang Mai!
We stayed here for 7 wonderful days and couldn’t have picked a better location
It’s right in the Old Town center, surrounded by cute cafés, amazing restaurants, and the famous night markets – everything is literally within walking distance! We explored the whole Old Town on foot and never felt the need to rent a scooter or car
So convenient and relaxing!
The receptionist (and all the staff) were absolutely lovely – always smiling, super friendly, and genuinely helpful, and full of great recommendations for restaurants and hidden tourist spots
Wonderful place in the heart of Chiang Mai. The owner was gorgeous and made us feel so welcome and taken care of. We would 100% stay again and we highly recommend this accommodation to anyone coming to Chiang Mai!
Cozy, stylish, affordable, and in the best possible location. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Chiang Mai! ❤️
Thank you, Yindee team – you made our trip extra special! 😊
Great place to stay in the Old Town. Recent renos have improved it even more. Well-cared for property, fresh linens, warm and welcoming staff. Excellent location just off the busy area
Ban FahSai Guest House is located 400 metres from from Had Sai Kaew Beach and Samed Pier. It offers rooms with free Wi-Fi. The property features a 24-hour front desk. The property is 1 km from Silver Sand Pub.
It was a family-run, homey guesthouse with a kind owner and children. It was close to the historical park and they provided free bicycle rentals, making it very easy to get around
And on the day we left we found some homemade food waiting for us, that was delicious. The owner helped us with the transport to and from the airport too and everything went smoothly
Staff is smiling and helpful, property is quaint, clean, w great location and good bikes. Highly reccomend this place as an alternative to touristy hotels.
The common areas are very clean. Breakfast is good on the veranda. The hostess and the children who live in the house are very nice people
Wonderful reatreat
What a lovely place to stay. Location was excellent, quiet, and convenient. Breakfast was delicious, Kwan was super helpful with helping us book a car the day we needed to leave. Highly recommend
The room was clean, we had a Japanese style room, if you can call it that: mattresses on the floor, a clothes rack, a table. Windows without glass, with doors, this is an interesting detail
Lovely guest house with a great location and lovely garden to relax in. The staff are lovely as well and the rooms clean and comfortable - good value for money as well.
I stayed here for five nights with my friend, really nice people, very clean room, would definitely recommend. It also has a very good location which is walking distance from most places in Chiang Mai Old Town.
Mr Andy and his team welcomed us at check in. Clean, comfortable and one of the best sleeps we had in Chiang Mai. Great little courtyard and a space to relax where mosquito coils are lit in the evening
The location is fantastic, just inside the North Wall of Old Chiang Mai. Take advantage of the drinking water refill stations dotted around nearby and the evening food market across the moat
Fully recomended! Gorgeous garden, you won't believe you are insiste the city, but you are actually! Kind people worried to help you in any possible way. Beds are quite well, just enough
Great experience!
- Very beautiful room. Has a wardrobe, a table with a mirror, two table beds. So you can store your belongings in a convenient way
- Shower had a curtain

Would come back
Hanna was such a great host that I have extended my stay.
Helpfulness, location and lovely cooking.
Me and my boyfriend are traveling Thailand and we loved our stay here! The owner is absolutely lovely with a daughter who is the sweetest and funniest little girl. Really accommodating place, lovely and clean rooms
Hana (apologies if I've misspelled the name) was a fantastic host, making us feel perfectly welcome and attending to all our needs. Absolutely no complaints, we highly recommend it and will definitely return if we can!
Right near pier and night market, rented bike and had laundry done by hotel and fixed a lock instantly with no questions
Exactly what you need, great location. Would 100% recommend! Thank you again
Check-in went smoothly, very nice hosts. Room was very tidy and simply furnished. Everything was clean, bathroom, floor, bed. Very helpful and friendly, I would book again anytime.
This is one of the best guest house I've been to in years! The overall environment is very comfortable, and the staff are very sweet. I love the room set up, and the bed is really nice too
My second stay at this establishment, and I'm just as satisfied as before. The rooms are spacious, modern, and very comfortable, with excellent bedding. You can tell everything is new and well-designed
Small guesthouse but very good concept. Breakfast served infront of rooms. Excellent
The guesthouse is tucked away off the main road, It is quiet with a garden like atmosphere. They have bikes you can use of if you like walking, Robinson Mall is a fifteen-minute walk. Local food is five minutes away
The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the welcome remains a major highlight: a smiling, caring, and professional team. The social enterprise concept gives even more meaning to the stay
The accommodation is new, the rooms and balconies are spacious, and bicycles are available to borrow.
The staff were very attentive and caring. I was impressed with everything! :)
This is a family-run guest house that is nice and cosy. We stayed here for its location midway between Sukhothai Airport and the Sukhothai Historical Park where the Loy krathong festivities were taking place
The hotel is able to organize transportation by tuk tuk to the park as well as a taxi to the airport. They also whip up a mean western-style breakfast each morning. The hosts were extremely welcoming and helpful
There are also food stalls for budget-friendly options, and a convenience store and ATM are conveniently located nearby. The guesthouse offers motorbike rentals for 300 baht per day
Excellent location . The guest house is one of nicest I have stayed in in Thailand at this price range. Book early. They do fill up.
This guesthouse is frequented by Thai guests, and the staff are friendly and speak a little English
The building was very clean and well-maintained. The staff were also very friendly. Unfortunately, the nearby river flooded, and we had to walk through puddles to get to restaurants and convenience stores
We were tempted to stay in Pai longer because of how nice this stay was. Mama and papa (owners) are some of the kindest guesthouse owners and have put a lot of love into their hosting space
This place is very cozy and cute. Mama who runs this guesthouse is SO sweet and kind. She really cares and helps to make everything easeful for you. Also, she offers a motorbike for rent, and free homegrown tea & honey
Also great location- 5 min from town on a motorbike
It's 4 minutes by bike to "downtown", you can rent it by Mama very cheap too, so I think the location is a big advantage too. Highly recommended for longer stays too. We will definitly come back some day
What a lovely, cozy and quiet stay in Pai. Located a short way past town (though very easy to find and access with a scooter), this was the best place to call home for a night while in Pai
Highly recommend, especially if you love plants! They gave us a tour of their garden and have fresh chrysanthemum tea from their garden for the it guests

I’m just finished a 1 month stay and Lanna and the entire staff were excellent, very accommodating and helpful. The location in Santitham area of Chiang Mai is great. Lots of nice food and coffee shops
Very nice airbnb, everything is close and room cleanings are fast. I enjoyed my stay there
Bang Kong Rao, is a wonderful hotel in my favourite part of town, Santiham. I first came here 15years ago and loved the chilled out Thai vibe
I’ve stayed at many hotels over the years but you can’t beat the price, quality and location of BKR!
Since I last came most of the staff have changed but without disappointment; Lana and Jin are the absolutely AWESOME front of house, so helpful, kind and full of smiles
The neighbourhood is lively, with plenty of shops, facilities of all sorts and different types of Thai food 50 steps from the guesthouse
SafetyTop location and guesthouse for safety. WalkabilityExcellent walking all around. Food & drinksStreet food and cafes all around
