For the price this guest house cannot be missed if staying in Chiang Rai, cannot recommend enough! Minor improvements could be emptying of bins in room daily and fresh towels as we had come to expect that from other guest houses at similar price, but the host more than makes up for this! Thanks Alex and family for a wonderful stay!

Great guesthouse with super nice owners. We slept extremely good in this guesthouse. It is very quiet and the matress is very comfy. We rented a scooter from the guesthouse and it is just 10 minutes to the city

We definitely recommend staying here. For us it was a lot better than in the city center

Milin Guesthouse is a nice little place of stay, a little out of town in Chiang Rai, but easily accessible by Grab. The owner Alex and his wife, along with their two children are incredibly friendly and accommodating

Always an issue with either the Wifi and the nice staff would reset the router. or an issue with no internet connection and the nice staff says they have reported to service provider

Terrible Wifi/Internet service (only worked 30% of the time across four days)!! After traveling around Thailand for 35days, this was the only and worst internet/Wifi

The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Perfect for resting after travel.

The accommodation is within walking distance of Tha Pae Gate, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phan Tao, and Wat Phan On. There is parking available and a swimming pool with clean water, but there is no elevator

Sometimes not very quiet if people make noice in the night. But we had a really good time

The hotel is in a small alley where cars can pass each other easily, and the name is similar to another hotel on the main road, which can be confusing. The new hotel that the staff found for me was good

In some ways, it felt like staying at a friend's house. Each morning, the monks would arrive downstairs to bless us and the house. Munee told us all the great places to go and even took us to some places

My room had a detached bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. There’s a lot of places like this I’m sure however it’s the owner Dang that made a difference. I stay at guest houses for a reason

A quiet place on the beach. Nice family, always ready to help. Kitesurfing station and spot. You can just walk out of your bungalow and take a stroll on a beach discovering many nice places.

Highly recommended for beauty, location, nice people, food, they know and cater for coeliacs and other food allergies, every thing you need can be found here

We needed to bleach some clothes that got ruined by a different laundry service and they provided us a with a bucket to do so, amazing location, amazing price, amazing owners

The owners are sooooo nice and so helpful. Ocean view and they provide towels, soap and a tv as well as local recommendations for food and activities

The Wi-Fi signal is a bit weak in some rooms, not all, but it's better in rooms closer to the stairs. The staff are very friendly, and the room price is reasonable

Had an absolutely fantastic stay in Kanchanaburi and VN Guesthouse was a lovely place to set up camp. Rooms were clean and the food in the restaurant was delicious

Had a twin room right on the riverfront and it had beautiful views. If I ever come back to Kanchanaburi, I would definitely come back to VN Guesthouse

Very nice restaurant with the view of River Kwai. We booked via e-mail, but we got some other rooms. It was okay, but not the view and bedsize, that we had expected. Bathroom floor is wet all the time

The water couldnt get out of the drain in the floor, becouseof how it was constructed. The solution was to provide us with a broom

I actually ordered pork, but it wasn’t a big issue for me. Beef Steak with Mushroom Sauce – 1/10 The sides were good, but the beef itself was very chewy and tough — almost like rubber

If you are not looking for a fancy place, and you don't focus exclusively on the same old central spots in town, then this is an excellent option, for a great price, in a very interesting area, and with a very kind and helpful service by the host

So this is a really good location to be at if you want to save money and spend every thing on beer 🍺 😆. They also selling beer on the guest house whit ice if you need before you go out so I really recommend this place 😀

Cheap and pet friendly! 550 for fan 750 for air con. Great location great prices, friendly. They tried to give us an air con room we don't like and they finally remembered they still have one fan room available

Located almost in the center of Old Town. The first floor is a cafe with a roaster that is open from morning to evening. There are many Western-style restaurants, Thai restaurants, cafes, bars, etc

Especially, when it's in an establishment where different people are coming in and out frequently. So not using the AC I was left dripping in sweat for most of the night. As for the room, aside from the AC, it was nice

2 the sea in front of SeaBar is a dream for water lovers (we call them water rats), big or small, in the morning hours - the only real, small, MINUS is in all rooms too less shelves, wall or sideboards for the personal luggage things, that's SORRY

about 200m down to the white sand beach, partly shady, 5★ recommended stop at the seabar when you walk to the beach, all the food 10★ there is more as great; we extended our bungalow in Tuk Tuk 2x, from 24

For a low budget travelers it's good option. Their service was good, the boss is a decent lady. Budget travelers can go there. And those who doesn't want to spend time in room also can be a good option.

Not on the beach at White Sand Beach but ideally located just a short walk from it. Hotel has a very tropical feel to it with a husband and wife that are very receptive to guest.

Most important the hotel is walking distance to white sand beach where I could hangout at Night!! Easy to find the Thai local restaurant for eat

There is a 7/11 5 minutes away and you can always buy coffee from the coffee machine and breakfast. There are also a lot of different cafes/restaurants within 5 minutes, there are very good and budget options

The rooms are beautiful, clean, as is the bathroom, the staff are friendly and helpful, the small swimming pool is nice, comfortable, the price is truly excellent, there are small marts, motorbike rentals and loundry service in the area

Cleaning occurred more often upon request or if a sign was posted, but there were no questions about the quality of cleaning

There is a small dining area with a microwave, tea, boiling water, instant coffee and all sorts of candies/sweets available

The hotel also has a swimming pool, we stayed for 5 days and swam with the children almost every morning

To then move a few steps away you will find the songthaew, which line the coast

Water, toilet paper, and shampoo were provided in ample quantities (but don't be shy about reminding us). Oh, and there's a pool shared by several hotels on the street; it's clean and not too crowded
