The hotel is incredibly convenient, located right on the riverbank close to the main street. The property itself is quite large, with each room being a private bungalow, giving it a true resort feel

Very nice guest house, we really loved it! The location is perfect, just a 5–10 minute walk to Pai Walking Street. The rooms were alright and the toilet was quite spacious too

AC was the best we’ve had in Thailand. Feel like you are in your own little village. We extended our stay here and were able to rent very good motorbikes from the guesthouse

Canary Guesthouse – Deluxe River View Rooms The room comes with a lovely river-view balcony, and the location is very convenient — just cross the bamboo bridge and you’ll reach Pai Walking Street

I booked a Double River View, and we have got the nice view of river. We enjoyed sitting at the balcony seeing the river. And the hotel is quiet as it locates on another side of Pai walking street

Breakfast is not included, but there’s a local Thai aunty at the reception area selling traditional morning dishes, which is a nice touch. A comfortable and convenient place to stay in Pai!

Excellent value for money, you couldn’t get more central and friendly and welcoming hosts and staff to a solo traveller thank you! Wish I had had stayed longer although I’m sure my liver thanks me for that :)

Although i found really difficult to find, despite having clear directions the combination of jet lag and how you really are truly slap bang in the centre of all the action in Patong - the accommodation and sauna and bar are all one complex in a pedestrianised section of the complex

Late arriving and only staying for one night the owner provided excellent communication before my arrival, tips on how to get there and advice on room allocation made sure it met my needs- which was really appreciated the personal touch

Staff very friendly escorted me up to my room and helped me with all my luggage / which was really grateful for - the room spacious, clean - not as noisy as I was expecting given you are on the top of an entertainment complex

Not a bad hotel in the center of Patong, on *** Street. All the bars, clubs, and massage parlors are nearby. The hotel is quite old, but it has a comfortable bed and free sauna access for guests

Good WiFi was able to do work and a comfy bed - had some drinks at the bar everyone was very friendly and welcoming and gave me some tips for my one night in Phuket

Warm welcome. Swimming pool. Glass water bottle in the room, not plastic – great! Very comfortable bed. Just shake out the sheets well before sleeping as there are often bits of lint... but they are clean.

Very good hotel, especially for such a price. There was a swimming pool, free coffee and free water bottles every day. The laundry was reasonably priced!

Very friendly staff, nice, big, clean rooms, big swimming pool. You need a motorbike to go around, but there are pleanty of restaurants around to eat. Overall very good. Would definitely stay there again.

Temperature: Instead of proper ventilation, there’s just a hole in the wall with a mosquito net. It doesn't close, so when the temperature drops to 15–18°C at night, it gets freezing cold. Even the blanket doesn't help

Shared shower: Extremely cramped. There's nowhere to hang clothes safely—everything on the hanger gets soaked while you shower. Breakfast: Don't expect much — "breakfast" here consists of only coffee and nothing else

Smell: There is a smoking area right behind the wall, so the room constantly reeks of tobacco or ********* smoke. Soundproofing: The walls are paper-thin. I could literally hear someone snoring three rooms away

The guest house is located at a very nice location. Have stayed there twice, and can say that the manager is very polite. Also there are great places to eat and see in walking distance

Excellent hotel! I stayed here a few years ago during a trip to Bangkok and came back again. Unfortunately, it was fully booked on another visit. Comfy beds, great location, cleanliness, price - everything's perfect!

Very affordable and simple place to stay. If you’re in budget travel and you want something that close to touristic places and quiet it’s a great option for you. Many restaurants and temples are just very close

The balcony door wouldn’t lock in our first room so immediately got us another one. We could leave our luggage there on the last day and they helped us print us our train tickets. The rooms were nice and clean

Highly recommend this accommodation when staying in Bangkok. The location is great since most sights like Khao San Road or the Wat Phra Kaew are in walkable distance. The stuff is incredibly friendly

Very friendly and kind staff, rooms are very decent and clean (btw mattresses are very good and comfortable) Even it’s very close to Khaosan road however at night you won’t hear any noises

The guest house is located near to main road but in a small dead end street so you could stay peacefully as there are no big hotels in this road all are just small guest houses

This was a good nice place to stay at a quite prime location. Walking distance from pattaya beach and walking street. They accommodated a very late check in. Staff was very nice and courteous

The accommodation isn't far from the beach. Parking is in a separate location from the accommodation, but it's not too far. The parking area is spacious and can accommodate many vehicles.

Nice and peaceful environment, it is so special to sleep on a floating house. It is nicely located as it is within walking distance from the lively street of Kanchanaburi

They can be disturbing, but that is something the guesthouse can't control. So if you want complete silence, this is not the place for you. The staff were welcoming and helpful

It costs only 150 baht per night, and you get a decent private room and the bonus of sleeping on a river

Everything was great, especially the view of the river in the evening)) The walls are very thin, though, so it might not be very comfortable for a light sleeper, but I either didn't have any neighbors, or they were very quiet

It is very unique to sleep on the sugar cane raft and you get a nice view of the River Kwai. One notice: the walls are very thin so you are only allowed to whisper between 11 pm until 7 am

I really enjoyed my stay at Ban Mai Guesthouse, it’s located close to Bang Na station and in a local neighbourhood - which has local cafes, coffee shops and a beautiful temple next to it - I recommend trying the local food across from Ban Mai guesthouse, it’s delicious

My room was clean & comfortable, it had everything I needed! The shower was really good and the family who owns the guesthouse were super accommodating and friendly

I rented a room since my graduation ceremony was held at bitec bagna. The rooms were very spacious, the staffs and everyone are very nice

It's a homestay, the location is a bit hard to find, there is no sign at the door, just a small sign, it's easy to get it wrong

I stayed here for 4 nights! The staff were all very friendly and I felt at ease when I returned to the inn. The rooms are a little old, but they were clean and comfortable! I'd like to use this again if I go to Koh Samui

I stayed for two weeks and it was a beautiful and peaceful place. If you find the beds hard- they can provide a mattress topper. Make sure to ask for it. The food was good and the coffee reasonably priced and very good.

We stayed here for two nights and had the best time! The facilities are amazing, the restaurant was so yummy, and the shops were convenient with great prices. What truly made our stay special was the staff

The place is not bad for parties. The central part is within walking distance. Large swimming pool. Cozy territory. The proximity of the airport is a bit annoying, this is both a plus and a minus.

Large, clean rooms and good location. Big balconies with a nice view on most floors. The in house tour agency was a bit overpriced, 250b to the airport and we paid 100b on the street.

Good quiet location close to the moat. 10 minutes walk to the night market. Nice terrace on the top floor. No elevator but staff will carry your bag if needed.

Because I didn't communicate about changing rooms in advance, when I came back at noon, they had already moved my room and my things were tidy. I still recommend staying in the big room on the fifth floor

The staff will help carry the luggage when they come in and out. This room on the third floor is a bit small, and the bathroom drains slowly

Walking distance from the old city and night market. There's also a hanging rack in the balcony. There's free coffee in the lobby and you can stay there

I stay here 2014. Room are clean. You have free tea and coffe and microwave. Supermarket is 2 minutes walk, laundry service also. Train station is 5 min walk. Its family run guesthouse. Very plesent place. Recomendation.

Family-run guesthouse with about 10 rooms, I had a large double room on the first floor with balcony. About a 5-10minute walk from the main road with all bars and restaurants in a lovely, backroad setting

They are the same owners of Siam Guesthouse where we stayed last time. Highly recommended if you want a nice clean inexpensive place. Will come back for sure, if we go to Kanchaburi again

It was a very clean, cute guesthouse, and the owners were very friendly and cozy. However, the dog they kept there barked quite a bit, which was a bit scary.

A lovely welcome from the host and help with arranging scooter hire and food recommendations. Rooms cleaned regularly and large, comfortable bed

A quaint little guest house above a family run coffee shop in the centre of Old Town they were very helpful and friendly .

Number 1 location 👍 Although there was a bit of street noise, it didn't bother us too much, but it might be a problem for couples with children 🤷🏻♀️. The only minor drawback was the small wardrobe and large mirror

A hidden gem in heart of Phuket old town.  Wonderful stay.  Chic property.  Professional staff.  Strongly recommended for couples.

The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. The traditional Thai-style house has air conditioning. Cons: across the river, there are loud parties that go on until 4 a. , and it's so loud it's impossible to sleep

The guest house must haave have seen its better days. The location is very near walking street. It needs a good make over to restore its former shine.

The window was open, and the lock was broken, so it was very cold in the room in the evening and at night. I covered the window with a jacket, but it didn't help much

There's hot water, but the stream is almost cold, making it impossible to wash. There are cracks and holes everywhere, letting mosquitoes in

The breakfast is meager and the same every day, but overall it's okay

The rooms are very cozy, clean and well maintained. The property is big with a river flowing right next to it. Restaurants are 200 mtrs walk.

I do not recommend to take breakfast. Breakfast is charged as 100 bath per person( optional). Affordable price of stay( 590 baht/double room with bathroom and toilet attached) and quiet and nice room

The room look outdated but with the price it is ok, the location is great, close to the market and many restaurant. The ride to train station or bus station is inly take 10-15 minutes.

Such a lovely little hotel in a quiet area but only 20 mins walking to the centre! Room is perfect, bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept in and they give you two bottles of water everyday! Shower worked perfectly, I would note that little ant like things do crawl the room maybe they need a trap for those? Other than that it was amazing oh and a full length mirror which is rare for a Thai hotel...

The hotel was clean and very nice. I stayed there only for one night but I liked it. You need to walk a little bit from the bus station but it's peaceful there.

Book a room second time here, experience is still excellent. You can't find such a great value for money in Chiang Rai. Clean, convenient, coz,y, affordable.

If you think it's still not enough, you can order breakfast at lobby. It has safe parking lot in case you want to rent a motorcycle

There are many hotels with private beaches around, which we were not allowed to go to. The beach on the embankment is very dirty, there is garbage all around. We stayed for a couple of days in this hotel

The room was cleaned every day and drinking water left in the fridge. Hot water in the shower but not the sink in the bathroom. The room felt very spacious with settee and separate chair with footstool

The bed was large and extremely comfortable. Loads of hanging space in the wardrobe. The room being at the front of the building you did get some noise from the road but it didn't bother me

Had a front facing upstairs room (202) for 8 nights here in January 2018. The room was very comfortable, nice and big, good a/c (very quiet), kitchen area with microwave also large fridge

This is a great place to stay. I was surprised how nice the room was for only 1200 baht a night. I was expecting something old but turned out to be very new

Cape Panwa is a very quiet part of Phuket and with the use of a rental scooter makes a good base for your holiday

For the price this guest house cannot be missed if staying in Chiang Rai, cannot recommend enough! Minor improvements could be emptying of bins in room daily and fresh towels as we had come to expect that from other guest houses at similar price, but the host more than makes up for this! Great guesthouse with super nice owners. We slept extremely good in this guesthouse. It is very quiet and the matress is very comfy. We rented a scooter from the guesthouse and it is just 10 minutes to the city

Milin Guesthouse is a nice little place of stay, a little out of town in Chiang Rai, but easily accessible by Grab. The owner Alex and his wife, along with their two children are incredibly friendly and accommodating

Very nice guesthouse. Nice clean room, Friendly staff, Stylish. Around 1.9 km from River Kwai Bridge. And around 900 meters from Death Railway Museum and Research Centre and Kanchanaburi War Cemetery

One of the best places we've stayed in our trip to Thailand. The location was excellent with many restaurants and bars around the corner and yet it was a quiet and serene environment

The room was large and included a refrigerator and electric kettle. The view of the river and the perfect temperature pool made it an enjoyable retreat from our daily adventures

And turist places are not so far, you can get them by tuk tuk, but if you want to go to Erawans water fall, the cheap way is by bus, ask to the lady at front desk, they will help you, are very nice

Firstly, make sure you use google maps when finding this place as apple maps will take you to a random street 10 minute walk away from the hostel!  When we arrived we were told to take our shoes off (very normal for thailand) but we were told we HAD to keep them downstairs and couldn’t carry them up to our room (wasn’t a fan of this)

The hotel location is good, it is in old town area and near tourist attractions. The room cleanliness was acceptable. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly

Near the old city. Just like a hostel but with private room and private shower. Very basic amenities. Room is quite dark and musky.

One thing to be improved was WiFi, it was able to connect but it was not stable and slow

Not nice going to sleep and getting bitten all over. The rooms were clean enough for us, but could’ve been better, especially in the bathroom. Location was pretty good and safe were kind
