Our stay here was excellent value for money. The room was comfortable, the hot water always worked and the fan and air conditioning worked great. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

This is my absolute go to place when visiting Karon. I have been coming here for several years in a row and don’t plan on changing anytime soon

The rooms are very clean and spacious. You can have free coffee and tea from 8am to 10pm and you can also book a scooter with them. The hosts are so helpful and kind. You should definitely stay at this guesthouse

I came to race oceanman in karon beach. I stayed in this guesthouse 3 nights. The host and the staff are very friendly and hepfull. The room is very clean and have good équipements

Great little hotel in Karon! On the advice of friends I stayed at this hotel and was very pleased! The hotel is located on a quiet street, close to the beach and all the necessary places! Staying at the hotel was perfect! Super clean rooms and friendly staff! Tony is a super host! I recommend!

Perfect location for the first days in Bangkok. Old town, many interesting places are in close proximity. As for the hotel, it has everything that is needed for your stay

Bed, shower, swimming pool, breakfasts, WiFi, etc. As for me, I prefer efficiency over luxury, so for me this hotel was the best option - simple but efficient

I’ve been staying at this ‘family’ of guesthouses since 1997, and this particular one since it opened 20 years ago, but I think it’s probably my last stay. Nothing is terrible, but nothing is great either

The host was extremely friendly with us. The room is good considering the low price we paid for it, it had a small balcony, A/C, a tv, and it was very clean

The only difficulty for me was the location, it was a little bit far from everything. But I read from other reviews that it used to be a noisy area at night, which is totally not the case now

Location is in a quiet area (no bar or restaurant around) but on the way you cross a stinky klong with black water and lots of trash along the way. Hope that the trash will be removed soon

You can hear the beach bar music but still ok to sleep (anyway I think you hear the music on the whole island, they are terribly loud and annoying when you are on the beach)

People are very friendly, small breakfast included

It was very quiet and we had a good sleep

This place has a beautiful garden where guest can have a cup of coffee or a nice meal while watching the river. I loved my time there, the room was small but functional for a solo traveller

The stuffs are nice and speaks very good english. The coffee and tea are so good but it’s not free(don’t worry it’s cheap). Doesn’t have air conditioner in my room it has two fans but one was enough for me

Food was great and there were some pets on the garden sometimes which is always nice

The room I booked in doesn’t have bathroom in it but have to go to the ground floor for bathroom. It’s pretty reasonable for the price. They have a dining place next to the river which gives you an amazing view

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in this laid-back, family run, boutique hotel. Right on the river with everything, just a short walk or taxi ride away

I extended my stay for half day where I had to pay only 200 baht. Location wise, it was really near to khao san and also phra atit pier, although I prefer to take grab ride

Overall really good stay, stayed for 4 nights two of which booked through trip. Really nice location, plenty of good food around, cheap or luxury. Just a few minutes walk away from the entrance of kaosan road

It's in the middle of everywhere (tourist spot), and yet quiet enough. The rooms are held rather small, but do you really need much space? The shower had good pressure. You can't do anything wrong with booking this stay

There is no lift for human access so need to climb up to 5th floor, but there is a small lift for luggage, at least you no need carry heavy to climb the staircase

Overall is good, the room is clean and have everything, just the safety locker not functioning, and room space a little bit small

The hotel is incredibly convenient, located right on the riverbank close to the main street. The property itself is quite large, with each room being a private bungalow, giving it a true resort feel

Very nice guest house, we really loved it! The location is perfect, just a 5–10 minute walk to Pai Walking Street. The rooms were alright and the toilet was quite spacious too

AC was the best we’ve had in Thailand. Feel like you are in your own little village. We extended our stay here and were able to rent very good motorbikes from the guesthouse

Canary Guesthouse – Deluxe River View Rooms The room comes with a lovely river-view balcony, and the location is very convenient — just cross the bamboo bridge and you’ll reach Pai Walking Street

I booked a Double River View, and we have got the nice view of river. We enjoyed sitting at the balcony seeing the river. And the hotel is quiet as it locates on another side of Pai walking street

Breakfast is not included, but there’s a local Thai aunty at the reception area selling traditional morning dishes, which is a nice touch. A comfortable and convenient place to stay in Pai!

The room should be renovated. It's quite usable for this price. There's a microwave, which is okay. But I forgot to take a picture. Haha.

Very good, not the first time I stayed here, the only drawback is that even shampoo and shower gel are not provided.

Excellent value for money, you couldn’t get more central and friendly and welcoming hosts and staff to a solo traveller thank you! Wish I had had stayed longer although I’m sure my liver thanks me for that :)

Although i found really difficult to find, despite having clear directions the combination of jet lag and how you really are truly slap bang in the centre of all the action in Patong - the accommodation and sauna and bar are all one complex in a pedestrianised section of the complex

Late arriving and only staying for one night the owner provided excellent communication before my arrival, tips on how to get there and advice on room allocation made sure it met my needs- which was really appreciated the personal touch

Staff very friendly escorted me up to my room and helped me with all my luggage / which was really grateful for - the room spacious, clean - not as noisy as I was expecting given you are on the top of an entertainment complex

Not a bad hotel in the center of Patong, on *** Street. All the bars, clubs, and massage parlors are nearby. The hotel is quite old, but it has a comfortable bed and free sauna access for guests

Good WiFi was able to do work and a comfy bed - had some drinks at the bar everyone was very friendly and welcoming and gave me some tips for my one night in Phuket

The guest house is located at a very nice location. Have stayed there twice, and can say that the manager is very polite. Also there are great places to eat and see in walking distance

Excellent hotel! I stayed here a few years ago during a trip to Bangkok and came back again. Unfortunately, it was fully booked on another visit. Comfy beds, great location, cleanliness, price - everything's perfect!

Very affordable and simple place to stay. If you’re in budget travel and you want something that close to touristic places and quiet it’s a great option for you. Many restaurants and temples are just very close

The balcony door wouldn’t lock in our first room so immediately got us another one. We could leave our luggage there on the last day and they helped us print us our train tickets. The rooms were nice and clean

Highly recommend this accommodation when staying in Bangkok. The location is great since most sights like Khao San Road or the Wat Phra Kaew are in walkable distance. The stuff is incredibly friendly

Very friendly and kind staff, rooms are very decent and clean (btw mattresses are very good and comfortable) Even it’s very close to Khaosan road however at night you won’t hear any noises

The room has a kettle, a fridge, a TV that I don’t watch, a hairdryer, air conditioning, a fan. The water in the shower is warm, not boiling water. We didn’t take a deposit when checking in

They gave the keys to the safe, which was at the reception. Rice or scrambled eggs soup with bacon and sausages in the hotel opposite, there is also a swimming pool, which can be used for free

There are a lot of birds making love and walking on the ceiling in the morning, it’s very loud and can’t sleep. The room quite good

Great location, close to Jungceylon. There's a 7-Eleven right out front, so it's easy to grab food. However, the cleanliness needs some improvement. It's not far from the beach and very convenient for getting around.

The accommodation is clean, the air conditioning is cool, the room is in very new condition, and they also provide extra blankets, duvets, and pillows

If you have friends with you, you can lay down a mattress and sleep together. The room is bright and has enough light, so it's not scary at all

we stayed there for around 10 days in the end and was genuinely sad to go, such a lovely family that run the place, they helped us out well above their responsibilities, the place was relaxed, affordable and above all very friendly and attracted a nice crowd, next time i'm in krabi i'd definitely stay again

Right near the little Walking Street and food court with some splendidly confident local performers. And close enough to the river to take a stroll and possibly even get a boat to tour the karsts and mangroves

Yaya can help with anything, excursions, taxi’s, knowledge of the area and amenities/things to do There is a great little restaurant onsite which is very reasonably priced and you can get a beer or smoothie

I had a room on the ground floor with a fan. It was quite comfortable for four days, but if you want to stay longer, I recommend a room on the upper floors with air conditioning and a closet

Your beautiful guesthouse is great and we felt very comfortable and almost at home right from the first moment. Everything is furnished and decorated with a lot of love and the room is sparkling clean

We spent three lovely weeks in Laura's Guest House. Our room was very clean and furnished with everything we needed

With the scooter that Laura organized for us, we got everywhere in a short time. She always helped us when we needed anything or had questions and thus contributed to a fantastic holiday

It is a very small hotel with only four rooms, located a bit away from the usual hustle and bustle, so it is also quiet here - we found that particularly good

The garden and pool are a feast for the eyes and we can only recommend every guest to book here

I really enjoyed my stay at Ban Mai Guesthouse, it’s located close to Bang Na station and in a local neighbourhood - which has local cafes, coffee shops and a beautiful temple next to it - I recommend trying the local food across from Ban Mai guesthouse, it’s delicious

My room was clean & comfortable, it had everything I needed! The shower was really good and the family who owns the guesthouse were super accommodating and friendly

I rented a room since my graduation ceremony was held at bitec bagna. The rooms were very spacious, the staffs and everyone are very nice

It's a homestay, the location is a bit hard to find, there is no sign at the door, just a small sign, it's easy to get it wrong

I fortunately got to meet the owner of the place and it was very exciting, she explained how the hotel came to be

I stayed here for 4 nights! The staff were all very friendly and I felt at ease when I returned to the inn. The rooms are a little old, but they were clean and comfortable! I'd like to use this again if I go to Koh Samui

I stayed for two weeks and it was a beautiful and peaceful place. If you find the beds hard- they can provide a mattress topper. Make sure to ask for it. The food was good and the coffee reasonably priced and very good.

We stayed here for two nights and had the best time! The facilities are amazing, the restaurant was so yummy, and the shops were convenient with great prices. What truly made our stay special was the staff

The place is not bad for parties. The central part is within walking distance. Large swimming pool. Cozy territory. The proximity of the airport is a bit annoying, this is both a plus and a minus.

MaiKhao Residence Lake view bungalows at MaiKhao beach is an excellent location 15 minutes drive from Phuket international airport and just few steps from a peaceful beach and restaurants, grocery store, mini-mart, drugstore and ATM

I was just staying for a night before moving onto another area but wish I could have stayed much longer. The rooms are spacious with open air shower. Location is great, halfway between the main road and the beach

5 minutes to plenty of food options and convenience stores. The owners were fantastic and helped me much more than they needed to when my upcoming tour to Surin Islands was cancelled

Loved everything about this place! Close to the beach and to town, Complimentary breakfast was appreciated. People need to keep in mind it is complimentary, not made to order

Large, clean rooms and good location. Big balconies with a nice view on most floors. The in house tour agency was a bit overpriced, 250b to the airport and we paid 100b on the street.

Good quiet location close to the moat. 10 minutes walk to the night market. Nice terrace on the top floor. No elevator but staff will carry your bag if needed.

The staff were friendly and polite. The room was clean with the necessary amenities. Worth it!

Because I didn't communicate about changing rooms in advance, when I came back at noon, they had already moved my room and my things were tidy. I still recommend staying in the big room on the fifth floor

The staff will help carry the luggage when they come in and out. This room on the third floor is a bit small, and the bathroom drains slowly

Walking distance from the old city and night market. There's also a hanging rack in the balcony. There's free coffee in the lobby and you can stay there

I do not recommend to take breakfast. Breakfast is charged as 100 bath per person( optional). Affordable price of stay( 590 baht/double room with bathroom and toilet attached) and quiet and nice room

The room look outdated but with the price it is ok, the location is great, close to the market and many restaurant. The ride to train station or bus station is inly take 10-15 minutes.

Beautiful guesthouse we arrived at the guesthouse and were so warmly welcome Since it was early we waited and got the room much earlier than 2 o'clock Sean is very knowledgeable and explained everything so clearly and also shown us on the google Clean and bright and next to Night Market which is famous for Loved the area thanks Sean for all your help

Nice guesthouse and clean as well prime location and I have stayed here before 9 year and today is same nothing much different however all is clean and good just behind night Bazar

Good place good price I likeed to mix hot and cold water for shower. Many tv channel with many languages. Nice parking place. Good stuff. All are kind and smile. I will back for sure.

The price is really reasonable for backpacker. This hotel has clean room and good service. It doesn't provide breakfast but it has free toast, coffee, and tea. Also has mini store near lobby

Such a lovely little hotel in a quiet area but only 20 mins walking to the centre! Room is perfect, bed is the comfiest bed I have ever slept in and they give you two bottles of water everyday! Shower worked perfectly, I would note that little ant like things do crawl the room maybe they need a trap for those? Other than that it was amazing oh and a full length mirror which is rare for a Thai hotel...

The hotel was clean and very nice. I stayed there only for one night but I liked it. You need to walk a little bit from the bus station but it's peaceful there.

Book a room second time here, experience is still excellent. You can't find such a great value for money in Chiang Rai. Clean, convenient, coz,y, affordable.
