Good for the price. The bed are not so comfortable but for 180bath are ok. The staff are friendly and helpful. working wifi and the hostel is clean.

I stayed here 14 years ago with a group of friends as we travelled through Asia, 14 years later I came with my wife and 2 kids and it's just as perfect as it was back then, location is spot on, off the main strip so you escape the noise and hustle and bustle but close enough that everyois walkable, beach is a 5 to 7 min walk, 7/11 convenience store is a 1 min walk, amazing restaurant on the opposite...

The owner/woman in charge is still the same as all those years ago and she's just great super friendly and helpful

Great budget place to stay. The staff is nice as well. I recommend this accommodation and Karon area for couples.

The views from the windows look out on the street & the rooms are comfortable. Definitely a great price for great location and great care!!! I hope to stay with them in the future

Mouse droppings on the bed, pillow, and (broken) table were not a pleasant surprise. Especially considering that the cheaper room was quite clean. The cheaper room didn't have a window, so I couldn't stay there overnight

This hotel is very conveniently located and the owners are super sweet. I was able to stay there my first weeks in Thailand and I felt so safe and taken care of by the owners

Close to tourist attractions, convenient location, there's a 7-Eleven across the street but no parking available.

The room was extremely cramped, with no space to walk around. The bed was old, and all the furniture, sheets, pillowcases, and towels were dated. You could feel the springs poking through the mattress when you lay down

The location is ideal for getting around, but the building is terrible. I asked the reception staff to change my room because there's water leaks everywhere, and they were quick to help

We stayed in much cheaper and nicer hostels and guest houses so not sure if it value for the money

Our room #2 had a fan, comfortable bed, private bathroom with hot shower. Small room with a chair & small vanity desk. Nothing fancy, 300 baht per night, which was good for us

The common space upstairs has shared outdoor kitchen area & lounging. The view of the temple & walking street nightlife is the highlight of this guesthouse. Easy walk to walking street, 7 eleven, & restaurants

Room was clean, bed was comfy, the host nice, water was hot and you truly can’t beat the lake views from the terrace

Really enjoyed our stay at this guesthouse. Originally booked 3 nights & then extended a few days. Our host Pong & her family are so nice & made us feel welcomed

Upper rooms are much nicer then others. Bathroom is dirty, with mould on walls. Anyway, the view from rooftop is really nice and guest house is close to city centre

Your beautiful guesthouse is great and we felt very comfortable and almost at home right from the first moment. Everything is furnished and decorated with a lot of love and the room is sparkling clean

We spent three lovely weeks in Laura's Guest House. Our room was very clean and furnished with everything we needed

With the scooter that Laura organized for us, we got everywhere in a short time. She always helped us when we needed anything or had questions and thus contributed to a fantastic holiday

It is a very small hotel with only four rooms, located a bit away from the usual hustle and bustle, so it is also quiet here - we found that particularly good

The garden and pool are a feast for the eyes and we can only recommend every guest to book here

Exhilarating! I highly recommended this one, perfect location close to the train station (walking 5 minutes) and airport (geographically), delightful team in the cafe, all staffs are wonderful, self-service laundry shop is couple of minutes away, the surrounding is harmonious! The housekeeping is polite and sweet

This guesthouse is decent and budget friendly. It has all the basic amenities and is close to many shops and restaurants. There’s a cute restaurant on the ground floor which serves complimentary coffee each morning

Basic but with things you really need: clean decent sized room, good bed, decent wifi & aircon, OK shower and fridge. Near to the railway station and its next door market and small night market

The hotel is a five-minute walk from the train station. There is a night market nearby where you can eat. There are many delicious foods at affordable prices

There is also a convenience store, which makes shopping very convenient. It is a very good walk from the river

Can't fault it for the price. You are very nearby a decent sized park (pictured) a 7/11, and a host of coffee shops and restaurants. Stayed here about a week and would come back. Nice view of the mountains too...

Refurbished house. Renovated nicely but needs a lot of maintenance and cleaning. Not a popular choice I guess but it's a good one.

The position is very good, and the lady manager is kind and she helped me with thw visa. The hostel is little, with only a little shared space, front the street, there is free water and coffee, good idea

Hairdryer, locker, towel included. Toilet paper only in one toilet. Owner made effort to make the place pretty with plants and sprayed mosquito-repellent. Kitchen area outside but fridge is at the reception

I was happy with the friendly service and quiet room so I booked three more nights. Totally fell in love with the dogs. Location is hard to beat.

Cannot wash clothes in the sink, have shoes indoors or have food inside the room

Oasis with little garden in the yard. Fresh fruits, bread and eggs for breakfast. Nice clean rooms - very nice and bright at 1st floor, ok on basement floor.

Nice place to stay. Free breakfast and nice people. They don't speak english very well but they try their best to help.

Excellent bungalow, very clean and well equipped, close to beautiful beach plenty of restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance, but we had the use of bikes at no extra charge which was so useful to see the surrounding area! Thank you once again 😀

MaiKhao Residence Lake view bungalows at MaiKhao beach is an excellent location 15 minutes drive from Phuket international airport and just few steps from a peaceful beach and restaurants, grocery store, mini-mart, drugstore and ATM

I was just staying for a night before moving onto another area but wish I could have stayed much longer. The rooms are spacious with open air shower. Location is great, halfway between the main road and the beach

5 minutes to plenty of food options and convenience stores. The owners were fantastic and helped me much more than they needed to when my upcoming tour to Surin Islands was cancelled

Loved everything about this place! Close to the beach and to town, Complimentary breakfast was appreciated. People need to keep in mind it is complimentary, not made to order

The hotel has another number for those who want to call to confirm. The bathroom door is quite old and difficult to slide. Overall, it is worth the price

There are no tissues in the toilet paper, you cant charge your phone in the room. The guesthouse is in the party street so you can hear the noise the whole night.

This is the world of backpackers' cheap hotels and late-night express trains. Conveniently located 0 minutes walk from Khao San Road.

A bit on the smaller size but some rooms for private bathrooms. Some rooms have shared bathrooms. Calm even though it's right next to khaosan road where nights are too bustling every night

The location is far. Grab can't drive us to the guesthouse and we had to walk.

If you are not so tight on your budget don't book this hotel. At least i expected it to be clean 🙁

We stayed there for 3 days and we've been given complimentary water just once on the first day and that too 2 small bottles for 3 members. The best thing is this place is right next to Khaosan road

The people at the front desl are very kind and helpful, even though they don't all speak English, but it's easy to communicate because of how kind they are

If something didn't work, which can happen in Thailand, like the water, the communication from the host was proactive and you could feel that the situation was unpleasant for him even though it wasn't his fault

Fantastic Stay at GW Guest House! I had an incredible experience staying at GW Guest House. The rooms were spotless and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay

Gary, the host, was exceptionally attentive and always willing to help with anything I needed. He was available at all times, ensuring everything ran smoothly

A hidden gem, or at least it must have been at some point, as by now the word has to be out that this is a fantastic place to stay, in an awesome location with attentive staff

Most importantly the bathroom was modern, great facilities, which sounds perfunctory but nah, loads of places fail miserably at this hurdle despite looking ok online, and here the bathroom and shower were brilliant

Overall I would definitely recommend this place, it’s in a very convenient location, minutes walk from so many good places to eat, it puts you in the heart of the action whilst giving you privacy and security

It's a modest guesthouse, but their restaurant isn't great and they clean it every day. I liked it for a budget stay of four nights. Kata Beach is nearby, and Karon is just a stone's throw away

As all rooms were booked, reception has told us to stay in their second building across the road - hotel Neptuna Kata. We enjoyed our stay, good price and good location. Hotel has everything for short stay

Some night, you can hear people shouting when they are **** ******* ** ***** ****. Single girl cannot walk thru the ground where the bar is. Only with male, can pass thru

Otherwise one ** the customers request that woman to send that girl to that table. Eventually staff explain that that woman is staying customer in the upstair hotel

A little noisy from the street, but close to Kata and Karon beaches. Daily cleaning, towel changes, and water, toilet paper, shampoo, and soap are provided.

Not every place is cleaned every day, so we appreciated that. Sometimes you don't have to run around asking the staff for cleaning or fresh towels

Overall considered good, near the airport, in the alley there is a 7-11

I was scolded by the staff for not having money and not staying there again. They complained because I didn't prepare a key deposit, as it wasn't stated in the room reservation details

The room is spacious, clean, new paint, new linen, not yellow. room up a bit but enough to live The uncle at the fort is cute.

In the past, I've never had this problem at other hotels

You can hear the sound of walking or talking. The receptionist doesn't have a smiling face. If you just want to rest or save money, I recommend it. There is no hair dryer and no refrigerator

Instead of talking nicely, they were harsh. The older staff member spoke rudely. Why get emotional instead of speaking nicely? I stayed two nights, two days, and made two bookings

Lot's if mosquitos due to the pond in fron of the house, so be prepared and bring some spray. Not a place to stay if you have big luggage, but they have larger suite rooms

This was the best place of many we stayed on both mainland and islands in Thailand. Staff was beyond helpful and always friendly, food and drinks were delicious, rooms were clean and definitely affordable

Always an issue with either the Wifi and the nice staff would reset the router. or an issue with no internet connection and the nice staff says they have reported to service provider

Terrible Wifi/Internet service (only worked 30% of the time across four days)!! After traveling around Thailand for 35days, this was the only and worst internet/Wifi

The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Perfect for resting after travel.

The accommodation is within walking distance of Tha Pae Gate, Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Phan Tao, and Wat Phan On. There is parking available and a swimming pool with clean water, but there is no elevator

Very nice place in Chiang Mai and kind staff. Good swimming pool and nice room for the price. Big place with table to chill. Easy access to a lot of place, restaurants

Sometimes not very quiet if people make noice in the night. But we had a really good time

The hotel is in a small alley where cars can pass each other easily, and the name is similar to another hotel on the main road, which can be confusing. The new hotel that the staff found for me was good

The location is in the middle of walking street, so all the nightlife activities are right there for you to enjoy. Also they offer decent amenities, and great service. Highly recommended for budget solo travellers

Lastly it's also really cheap to stay so I fully recommend this guesthouse fully when you want to take a look around in the nightlife of Pattaya

I stayed in several rooms of this hotel for 3 days. Their mambers are kind and friendly like your family. The rooms Cleaner than many hotels and rented rooms. The management is a very respectable lady

It was easy for me to walk up and down the street then go upstairs and rest when I needed to. I do highly recommend it for those who want to experience walking street. The staff was polite and helpful too

In some ways, it felt like staying at a friend's house. Each morning, the monks would arrive downstairs to bless us and the house. Munee told us all the great places to go and even took us to some places

My room had a detached bathroom and the beds were very comfortable. There’s a lot of places like this I’m sure however it’s the owner Dang that made a difference. I stay at guest houses for a reason
