Kaya Thermal & Convention Hotel

There is no entertainment for children. We tried to find the hotel with our own means, no one directed us.

The hotel entrance is quite luxurious, and there is a swimming pool and spa. If you have time to go on vacation, it is a good choice. The room facilities are generally old, but it is clean.

The hot spring was great!

The hotel is very big, located in the south of Izmir Bay, not far from the beach, with a swimming pool and parking lot. The room is nice and spacious for one person. It is located outside the city.

I came here on a business trip with my students for a competition. The location is a little remote on the hillside, but the environment is very good, the scenery is also good, and you can see a little bit of the Aegean Sea. The breakfast is also rich in choice, and the restaurant environment is also good. On the last day, I was bitten by a wasp. The nurse of the hotel took very considerate care of me, applied medicine and iced it with the help of the translator, and I recovered in two days.

I came from London to Izmir for medical reasons and stayed at Kaya Izmir for 3 nights. I initially booked for 2 nights but after my massage treatment I booked another night solely for the Spa. The hotel itself can do with improvement, but the two gentlemen Kemal and Kaan working at the Spa reception were exceptional and made up for it. I want to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation towards Kemal and Kaan, thank you so much for being so kind and professional. The restaurant in the lobby was great, however the main restaurant downstairs’ food was not great. For a 5 star hotel, I was expecting better food and cleanliness, as I have stayed at other hotels in Turkey such as Hilton and their food and cleanliness was exceptional. My room also had a bad odor due to the outdated carpet. But again, the staff were absolutely amazing. The staff’s attentiveness and hospitality made up for the lack the hotel obtained. Each and every personel I spoke to were super polite and quick to help. Without the staff, it wouldn’t be classed a luxury. Kind individuals like Kaan and Kemal as well as other staff made it a luxury.

I stayed in this hôtel for one night with a Group of Fram travel agency (20th of august 2024)
I & all Group members highly recommend this hôtel : a real 5* hotel with High quality facilites (pool, spa, fitness, rooms,…).
Food variety and quality in the restaurant is just « Whaou ! » . The staff was very attentive and took great care of us.
Special thanks to staff during breakfast who prepared for me a personalized omelette.
