Caravanserai Inn Hotel --Great Location, Decent Stay with Room for Improvement

The hotel is in a fantastic location— is within walking distance, and Göreme town is just a 5 to 10-minute stroll away. There’s ample parking, which was a plus. The room itself was neat and comfortable, but the bathroom and jacuzzi had a strong sewage-like odor that was unpleasant and distracting. It really felt like those areas could benefit from better maintenance or an upgrade.

The terrace offers stunning views, especially during sunrise and sunset—definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Breakfast was complimentary and had a good variety. The host also provides travel and tour services, which some guests may find convenient. However, it’s worth comparing prices with other local providers before booking, as there are plenty of options in town.

One thing I noticed was that the facility seems to prioritize its tour business more than maintaining or improving the accommodations. While the essentials are covered, a bit more care in upkeep would go a long way.

Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with solid amenities and an unbeatable location, though a few updates could enhance the experience. I'd rate it as average to slightly above average.

The hotel is in a great location — Sunset Point is within walking distance, and Göreme town is just a 2-minute walk away. There’s ample parking space available, and the room was neat and clean. The view from the terrace is lovely, especially during sunrise and sunset.

The complimentary breakfast was good and had a decent variety. The hotel also offers a laundry service, which costs 500 lira for an 8 kg load — they wash and dry the clothes for you. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, making it very convenient for dining out.

Overall, it’s a comfortable stay with a great location and good amenities. Highly recommended!

Clean room with plenty of space. Decent breakfast and friendly and helpful staff. We would be happy to stay here again.

A little apart from the central of Göreme but it takes about 5 minutes walk from hotel. Royal baloon company is really close to the hotel.

The property is very good and has an antique charm. The linen was clean and fresh and the rooms comfortably large and warm. The hotel is very conveniently located for indulging in trekking activities. It’s at 5 min walk to the center of Goreme and around 15 min to Goreme open air museum. It was easy to do a trek of the Red and Rose Valleys (via Goreme open air museum). The rooftop breakfast area is absolutely the best place. It’s got a great view. Unfortunately, there was no hot air ballooning in the days we stayed, so can’t say about the views of that. The food was lavish and very tasty. The lady making the breakfast was very caring. Had the best omelets ever. The staff was very helpful in advising about the activities. Only issue was the weak wifi signal, which I’m sure the management will look into.

Highly recommend
The location for us was great. It had incredibly easy parking compared to the hotels that are in the inner city near the shops. It was an easy walk to the inner city. We were super close to the pick up and drop off for our hot air balloon ride which made it so we could sleep an extra hour compared to other guests who were more inland. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The decor is intricate and unique. An amazing bed. The WiFi is good enough for browsing but not strong enough to support zoom calls in case anyone is working remote while here. We just went to the coffee shop across the street that is open until 11PM which worked great.

Hotel is in perfect location easy to find very friendly workers happy to recommend. The balcony has a beautiful view of the city and it was amazing watching the ballon’s go up and down. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurants there were also very tasty. Me and my family had a great time I would 100% recommend very affordable kind staff and more !

The room is spacious and beautiful, with a bathtub and hot water supply. There is a rooftop where you can watch both sunrise (with balloons) and sunset 😍. The hotel is actually just across of the balloon take off sites 🎈. We were lucky that we didn't have to fight for a spot at the rooftop since there were not many people there. They have a cute dog (Bulut) who is smart and can follow you if you invite him, he even slept in our room one night 🥰. They provide a complete Turkish breakfast buffet as well.
