While rooms are generally clean and have basic amenities like slippers, toiletries, and hairdryers, some reviews report issues with dampness, noise from air conditioning, and the need for renovations. Breakfast is served buffet style daily from 7:30 to 10:30, and is often praised for freshness and variety, though some guests found it lacking. Pets are allowed with prior arrangements. Location

It lies within walking distance of key landmarks such as the Grand Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, and the Blue Mosque. Nearby dining options include Cagaloglu Hamam Cafeterya (242 m), Sultanahmet Fish House (263 m), and Havuzlu Restaurant (333 m), each rated around 8/10. The hotel is set on a quiet street but remains close to public transport, with tram, bus, and ferry connections just a short walk away. This location is convenient for tourists wanting easy access to Sultanahmet’s historic sites and central Istanbul.

Tips

I don't understand how anyone can leave a good review for this hotel. They were right when they said in the reviews that reviews are forced to be good; otherwise, no one would check in after this! We booked the hotel for 5 nights: 1 night in a standard room and 4 nights in an economy double room. Upon arrival, we were told to check into the economy room for the entire stay. We thought, "What difference does it make? Why bother running back and forth? A few square meters more, a few square meters less..." But then, wow, as soon as we entered the room, it was just something else... terribly damp, black mold, it smelled, it was dirty, the window looked out onto a closed shaft, everything was broken, there were stains and all sorts of other things, it felt like a shelter, not a hotel! After being in the room for five minutes, I developed an allergic reaction, apparently from the dampness. They finally came down and asked for a standard room, which we'd booked for one night. It was more or less the same, but just like in that room, the air conditioning was terribly noisy, the windows were terribly drafty, the window seals were hanging like tinsel, and they needed serious renovations! The hood constantly smelled like a public restroom!!! And of course, the dampness. We woke up half-sick this morning from the draft and from a restless night with the air conditioner blaring throughout the room and the smell of the restroom assaulting our nostrils. We went down to eat an hour before breakfast ended, and there was no food! What good, filling breakfasts are they all talking about?! Everything was stale, like it was from yesterday, if not the day before! This was the most disgusting food I've ever had at any hotel in Istanbul! It's not hard to guess where such good reviews came from! We ended up immediately moving to another hotel for the same price, but much better, and the service we booked the remaining four rooms through refunded our money! If you value your health and nerves, don't even consider this hotel! I think my photos will convince anyone!

Great hotel. They called us a taxi and packed lunch boxes. There's a communal dining room where you can eat your own food. But there's nowhere to cook.

A cute little hotel in the heart of Sultanahmet. Walking distance to the Grand Bazaar, the embankment, Topkapi, and the Al Sofya Cistern. Everything is close by. The breakfast is excellent. The only thing missing was a coffee machine. There is instant coffee, though. The rooms are small, but have everything you need. Slippers and toiletries are provided. A hairdryer is also included. The service is pleasant, and everyone is nice.

We booked two bedrooms. Unfortunately, there were several issues with both rooms. In one bedroom, the toilet flush was not working properly and the room was comparatively smaller than expected. In the other bedroom, the window was broken, the door lock was damaged, there was noise coming from the heater, and the lighting was very dim.
We reported these issues to the reception, but we were told that no alternative rooms were available.
The breakfast selection was also not very good compared to what we expected. Overall, the stay was not very comfortable due to these problems.

The hotel has an excellent location, but the Wi-Fi was really bad.

+ I liked the location. The room is a bit small, but for the price it's okay. The breakfasts are excellent. The staff is kind and helpful, especially the receptionist, Omar. Overall, I recommend it.

Everything was great! A lovely little hotel right in the heart of Sultanahmet. All the main attractions are within walking distance. It's also very well-connected to public transport – just a short walk down a lively street to catch trams, buses, and ferries. What’s nice is that the hotel itself is located on a very quiet street, but all the action is just around the corner. Omar, the guy at reception, was fantastic; he spoke excellent Russian and answered all our questions. Our room was small, which initially concerned us, but we actually grew to love it – it was cozy and comfortable. There’s also an elevator to all floors. We definitely don't regret choosing this hotel! 👌

The location of the hotel is very good because even by walking you can get to the main attractions of the city. The staff were very friendly and polite. We booked option with breakfast and it was always fresh and absolutely delicious. The hotel definitely needs upgrades especially of the central heating. It was quite cold in the rooms even if we were stopping the air condition and we’ve been told that the central heating doesn’t work yet as we are not yet in the winter season. It was quite hard to believe that because on the reception and in the lobby we could feel hot air from the same central ventilation but price wise was worth it. The room was quite spacious and really very clean but unfortunately big part of the sockets didn’t work so if you book the room for 2 people, only one of them can charge his / her electronics. The doors of the shower were opening and closing super hard and the shower was leaking from all sides. I would recommend also if anyway the staff enters the rooms everyday to leave more toilet paper especially knowing that there is a baby in the particular room.

Amazing hotel location, nice service, room of medium size. Breakfasts are ok, but just enough to get energy to find a good place to eat. Wish they did a renovation because the hotel state is quite poor - we’ve been here two years ago and this point was on mind then, and nothing changed. But if you’re seeking just a place to sleep and get a shower in the city heart for reasonable price - this one is a good opportunity.

The room was interior with no opening window, super small and we asked the hotel if we can change room or pay a difference and change rooms as it was a joke but they said they are fully booked which wasn't true as there was availability of the room on online platforms.
Overall, was not a pleasnt stay and wouldn't recommend it.
