Katre Island Hotel in Istanbul

They have made my birthday a very special one. It all starts with a sea taxi that picked us up from Bostanci to the Hotel. The attention was truly personalized from the family chat that the assigned host creates for better monitoring of what we needed during our stay. The hotel is super clean, the food is of unbeatable quality., not alcoholic beverages.They took care of every detail until the last moment we were on the Island. I was surprised by the decorated bedroom and a surprise cake. By the way, it is a Private Island where you can also visit the museum, the mosque, the castle, and a small cistern. It has a convention center and the best thing is the lighthouse facing the sunset. A special thank you to our host Merve Akay, Miss Sezen and the rest of the hotel staff. We will surely stay again 💫❤️

We had a quiet, peaceful, and calm weekend. First and foremost, Merve and Sezen, and all the hotel staff, are serving with a smile to make your stay the best. The hotel rooms are spacious and comfortable. Both the rooms and the general areas are very clean. There is also a spa, but women and men cannot use it at the same time. For this reason, you can only have a pleasant time at the spa if you come with the same gender or a large group.

First of all, we traveled to our recent history, witnessed the cruelty experienced by Menderes and his friends, everything is considered in the museums from this perspective. The only hotel on the island, Birun ADA, gave us a wonderful experience. It is a very nice hotel for calm and relaxation. The interior decoration choices in the hotel were very high quality. The sea view and seeing Istanbul from the island were great. The restaurant, cafe, pool, Turkish bath were all spotlessly clean. The entire staff, especially the welcoming assistants Sezen and Merve, were very attentive. They informed us about all the details in advance. Thank you very much.

I definitely recommend getting a sea view room. The rooms are nice, the island arrangement and cleanliness are great. There are many places to visit on the island, we reserved 1 day for them. The gym, sauna, steam room are sufficient but I found the pool small and it is not comfortable to swim because of its shape.

How can a place be perfect in every way! Your unique interest and help that started before we even arrived on the island, our very kind welcome when we arrived on the island and most importantly your incredibly delicious breakfast, it is truly a service that is hard to find. Thank you very much for providing us with the perfect service that we missed in Istanbul. The kind attitude of each and every employee is the most important part of this beautiful service. The fact that they constantly call and ask about our needs also shows how warm their sincerity is. I thank you very much again and again and I strongly recommend everyone to visit this place. Please do not visit the island without eating the hotel's breakfast😂

The physical features of the hotel we chose for our weekend vacation were quite good. The staff is warm, smiling, caring and very knowledgeable about their jobs. The food is excellent. The hotel offers a very peaceful environment due to its location. I definitely recommend it.

We had a weekend holiday with my wife at Birun Ada Hotel. I definitely recommend it to those who want peace and quiet. We felt at home, they have friendly staff, they took care of everything, there are many varieties of food, all of them are delicious :) Thank you!

It is a place where u can free ur mind from distraction, and u can focus on what u came for, the hotel has nothing to complain about, the staff are helpful and polite, the facilities are nice and fun . I enjoyed staying here

My stay here for 3 nights was excellent. The view of the hotel is breadth taking. The hotel is on an island located in between the sea of Marmara, away from the crazy sound of the city. The check-in was smooth as well as the check-out. They have arranged sea taxi for the transfer from the city to the island and vice versa. Nice big rooms with stunning view of the city, other islands and the sea. The rooms are very clean. Breakfast was good and it will keep you running for many hours. The day of check-in, they have decorated the room with balloons and provided a cake as requested by me.
The only thing that I will recommend the hotel is to have regular hourly or 2/3 hours sea taxi service. I will definitely recommend everyone to stay in this hotel when one travels to Istanbul.

We booked over Expedia. The great experience began with the staff contacting us and making sure that the transfer was taken care of. We took the Marmaray to Bostanci and changed to a boat at the Mavi Marmara Pier. Since it was off-season and the hotel is very new, the island was very quiet and there were hardly any guests on the island.

We had an unforgettable stay at Katre Island Hotel. We booked a One-bedroom suite which was very spacious and beautiful. The suite was very clean and even nicer than we expected from the photos. The hotel is very modern, and you can tell that everything is still very new.
We had breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the Fener Bistro since it was the only restaurant that was open. The menu had a lot of options, so that was not a problem. The price and quality of the food were very good. Any encounter with the hotel staff was very amicable.

A Highlight of our stay was the visit to the Spa area. The Spa attendant (we think her name was Sema) was very attentive, gave us a tour, and even offered us Turkish coffee. The massage conducted by her was also very relaxing.
We really enjoyed the silence at the Island, and it was a great getaway from busy Istanbul.
