I stayed at Lady Diana Hotel in Istanbul. The location is excellent just a short walk to the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, and other main attractions. The rooftop breakfast has incredible views of Istanbul and was a really nice way to start the day.
However, the rooms were much smaller than expected, with barely enough space to open a suitcase. There were no real windows, just a fake one that looked into a janitor’s closet with cleaning supplies inside, which was a bit unsettling. If I were traveling alone, I wouldn’t have felt completely comfortable.
On the positive side, the bathroom was very clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The reception area had a relaxed vibe, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, the location and facilities are great, but the room setup could definitely be improved.

An excellent hotel with nice rooms and high-quality materials. A modern, stylish interior. And a great view of the Blue Mosque. Decent breakfasts. The only downside is the view of the office building from which employees can be seen.

The warmest welcome in an Istanbul hotel! The price/quality ratio is excellent. The restaurant terrace offers stunning views of the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, the Bosphorus, and the city. The panoramic sliding windows are truly impressive! In the evenings, there's live music and a wonderful atmosphere. The 4-star rating is evident at breakfast—for the first time, the coffee wasn't tasty, apparently instant, and the juices were also unbelievable. Otherwise, the food was excellent, delicious, and they even have Turkish tea! The room was clean and tidy, but on the third day, the floor was filthy, but we were already checking out. There was no view, but the terrace made up for it!

Unfortunately, we are not satisfied with the hotel. The location is great and the service is good, but the breakfast was very disappointing — there is no real selection. The rooms are too small and not as clean as they should be for a 4-star hotel, especially compared to the perfect photos online. We would not return here again, mainly because of the cleanliness and the very small rooms.

Quite good location in few minutes on feet you can reach Hagia Sofia. Get know the area is expensive meaning the food available around. The hotel inside is very narrow, rooms are small. Good if you like to bump your head every time trying to move a bit.
Fantastic view from the terrace where the breakfast is served, but the breakfast itself is terrible - no choice, no taste.
Well for 1 night is ok, for longer - think of other opportunities.

Great location and spa. The hotel is dirty, with hair on the blankets and dust all over a/c outlet, rooms are extremely small. Dirty towels were in the hallway all day. It was 25 degrees Celsius inside the room upon arrival, very hot, it took old, dirty a/c whole day to cool it down to 22c. WiFi is extremely slow at only 1Mbps. There was no orange or apple juice at breakfast because juice machine was broken…

The hotel is super. The location is very good. All the sights are within walking distance. The rooms are new, clean, very good soundproofing. The room is cleaned every day, the shower set was replenished every day. The breakfast is varied. The choice of products is very good. I recommend.

Excellent location. All the main attractions are within walking distance, and if you need to go somewhere, the stop is also nearby. The staff speaks different languages, is friendly and helpful. The room service is good, clean, towels are changed every day. The rooms themselves are nice and spacious. Breakfasts are buffet style, quite full, there is a choice, you will not go hungry. For dinner, you can book a table and eat with a beautiful view of the evening city.

We liked it. If you came to Istanbul to visit different historical places, the hotel is needed only for the safety of things. And everything is fine with that. The location is right opposite the Blue Mosque. The mullah sings beautifully in the morning (on the second morning we got used to it, it even puts you to sleep))) The room is of course small, the view from the window was nothing))) But this did not spoil the vacation. I recommend it. They say there are interesting rooms with a view of the central square.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.
Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.

I came in December so it was fairly quiet, but if you come in the warm months there will surely be a large crowd. The terrace upstairs offers good views around and a good place to meet people. Located very well right off the Sultanhamet Tram stop, and very convenient to get to almost anywhere in Istanbul. Offers cheap breakfast, cheap ride to airport, and nice rooms with heat/ac and warm water for shower. Wifi is average. Hosts are very helpful, and informative. Great place to stay, especially for backpackers.
