Celal Sultan Hotel in Istanbul

Fantastic stay! The room was spotless and very well maintained, and the bed was incredibly comfortable — we slept so well. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, with plenty of options to choose from.

A special mention goes to the staff — everyone was genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They made us feel taken care of from the very first moment.

The location is perfect, just a few minutes’ walk from the main attractions, which makes exploring the city incredibly easy and convenient.

The rooftop bar is a real highlight — the views are absolutely stunning and it’s the perfect spot to relax after a full day of sightseeing.

Highly recommended — I would happily stay here again!

A fine hotel but two points to note. The only outdoor area for sitting and drinking, as far as I could see (i was more interested in seeing the sights) was on the roof....not a place to be on an April evening in Istanbul. Also ordering drinks, sometimes the glasses weren't clean. Other than that though a fantastic hotel with lovely staff and a great location.

The location is absolutely brilliant—everything you need is within easy reach. It’s about a 10-minute walk to many of the main attractions, shops, and restaurants, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient without needing transport.

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. They were always welcoming, attentive, and happy to assist with any questions, which made a big difference to the overall experience.

The room itself was clean, comfortable, and nicely presented. It had everything I needed for a relaxing stay, and it was a great place to come back to after a long day of sightseeing.

Overall, a great combination of excellent location, good service, and comfortable accommodation. I’d happily stay here again.

Our stay at the Celal Sultan Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location is incredibly convenient – within walking distance to many major historical sites and ruins, which was a dream for us. The area is also filled with excellent restaurants and cafes right at the doorstep.

The hotel staff, especially at the front desk, were exceptionally helpful and kind. They gave us fantastic recommendations for local sights and were happy to assist with booking various activities. They helped us arrange a delightful boat tour, and booked a traditional Turkish bath experience for us. Their service truly made our trip seamless and more enjoyable.

The room was very comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. We appreciated the quality toiletries provided, including shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The towels were fresh and plentiful, and the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep after long days of exploring.

We highly recommend the Celal Sultan Hotel to anyone visiting this beautiful city. It offers great value, outstanding service, and a perfect base for discovering all the local treasures. We can't wait to return!

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Sultanahmet

Our stay at the Celal Sultan Hotel was exceptional. The location is perfect—just minutes from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, and Topkapi Palace. With 4 adults travelling plus 1 year old baby, I booked 2 connected rooms. They gave us Rooms 112 and 113. Just perfect. Rooms were clean, comfortable, From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a genuine sense of care from the staff, who went out of their way to make our experience as comfortable and memorable as possible.. Breakfast was a highlight, generous, fresh, and full of variety, including traditional Turkish items and continental options. The 5th floor roof terrace has breathtaking views of Hagia Sophia. Special thanks to Rose who cleaned our rooms, Cihan for advice on tours and Rezul who helped us with all our luggages. Great value, great service, great location!

The location of the hotel is very, very good, everything can be reached on foot, the service is also great, the facilities depend on the room category and it is a matter of taste, and the breakfast is sufficient.
