The hotel is generally good, with a good location and very good cleanliness. The staff are also friendly, and the breakfast is average.

Good hotel

Perfect hotel, very clean rooms and lobby. Food was 1000/10! Recepctionists, cleaning ladies and kitchen staff were super nice and friendly. Location is great too, 10 min walk to sea and big parks. And 15-20 min walk to nearby mall. Definitely will comeback.

The Perfect Blend of Ease and Energy
Location & Setting
Zeytinburnu might not be the first name that comes to mind when travelers think of Istanbul, yet this area surprised me. It’s strategically positioned close enough to reach Sultanahmet and Taksim with ease, yet far enough to escape the tourist crowds. The hotel itself feels like an oasis of calm within the city’s heartbeat. Step outside, and you’re minutes from transportation links, local eateries, and the Marmara coastline.
Design & Comfort
The moment you step into your room, you sense Hilton’s signature attention to detail—simple, modern, and purposeful. My room was bright, immaculate, and well-designed for both rest and work. The bed offered the kind of support that makes long travel days melt away, and everything, from lighting to Wi-Fi, worked exactly as it should. Small touches, like perfectly laundered linens and crisp air quality, added a layer of comfort that felt quietly luxurious.
Hospitality That Feels Personal
While the property itself is well-maintained, what truly makes this hotel memorable are the people behind the front desk. Fatih Tuna and Ömer are two names I won’t forget anytime soon. Their professionalism is effortless, and their kindness feels completely natural; no rehearsed smiles, no scripted greetings.
Whether it was assisting with directions, offering local dining suggestions, or simply greeting guests with warmth that instantly puts you at ease, both Fatih and Ömer demonstrated a level of hospitality that’s rare even among top-tier hotels. They are the kind of hosts who remind you that genuine service can transform an ordinary stay into a meaningful experience.

It’s no exaggeration to say that they embody the best of Turkish warmth; courteous, humorous, and always ready to help without ever feeling intrusive.
Breakfast & Shared Spaces
Breakfast each morning felt more like a pleasant ritual than a hotel buffet. The spread was abundant and fresh, featuring local cheeses, eggs, fruit, pastries, and strong Turkish tea that was hard to resist. Staff managed the flow smoothly, keeping everything replenished while maintaining the sense of calm that regular travelers quietly crave.
The public areas, especially the lobby, were clean, cozy, and inviting. Whether grabbing a quick coffee, catching up on emails, or chatting with staff, the space encouraged connection rather than mere transit.
Small Note
The only subtle reminder that you’re still in a lively city comes from occasional distant traffic or early-morning sounds from outside. It’s faint and fleeting, more of a whisper than a disturbance. For light sleepers, a higher floor or a room facing inward may be ideal.
Lasting Impression
What sets Hampton by Hilton Istanbul Zeytinburnu apart isn’t luxury, it’s sincerity. In a world full of polished but impersonal hotels, this one manages to feel human. It’s clean, consistent, and comfortable, but more importantly, it feels caring.
As someone who not only travels often but also recommends hotels to colleagues and friends across continents, this property easily earns a place among those I’ll be suggesting again. There’s something compelling about how smoothly everything runs here, and it makes you wonder how the experience might evolve across different seasons or longer stays.
Because when a hotel makes you curious to return, that’s when you know they’ve done something right.

Pros:
1. The breakfast offers a mix of traditional Turkish breakfast and Western options, with a great variety of cheeses and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables.
2. Although the room is small, it's very tidy and clean. It gets cleaned daily, and the bed sheets are changed every day.
3. The location is excellent. It's within walking distance of Yedikule Fortress and Marble Tower, and only an 8-minute walk to the sea.
4. The surrounding area is a residential neighborhood with schools, making it very quiet.
5. The hotel's Wi-Fi is super fast and never lags.

Areas for improvement:
1. It would be great if there was an airport shuttle service.

The hotel's location is excellent; it's a ten-minute walk to the subway, which takes you to major attractions and the ferry terminal. We were on a road trip, and the underground parking was very convenient! The breakfast was also quite good! I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.

The hotel was quite clean, which was nice, and the breakfast spread was plentiful. Parking was convenient, though the location was a bit out of the way. It took about 5 to 8 minutes to walk to the nearest subway station.

It was the consistency of the Hampton brand. Super clean. Great bed and bathroom. Bonus on the garden for some outdoor fresh air

Walking distance to Marmaray station

We flew in transit through Istanbul. Turkish Airlines provided a room in this hotel for free. Free breakfast. Very decent room and the hotel itself. Friendly staff. We thought it was 4 or 5 stars. Glitchy elevator. Internet password only upon check-in. Far from civilization.

Great quiet hotel near Marmray station. Clean rooms, good breakfast. 20 minutes and you are in the center of Istanbul! We stayed at the hotel in 2019. We are going to Istanbul again in June, we will stay at Hampton by Hilton again!
