My husband and me stayed at Nuray Hotel for a few days, and we truly cannot recommend it enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. The highlight of our stay was the owner, who is one of the most polite and helpful people we have met. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed, which made our trip to Istanbul even more special. We really appreciated his genuine hospitality and kindness. The hotel itself is lovely and provided a perfect base for our stay. If you are looking for a place with a personal touch and excellent service, this is it. We will definitely be back!

This hotel was really close to the Blue Mosque ,Hagia Sofia and Topkapi Palace. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The plumbing was perhaps a little old but a great place for a budget sight seeing break.

Absolutely disgusting hotel. I've booked it via booking and when we have arrived our room smelled like mold (it was covered by it too) the beds were broken the wall was peeling down the doors were broken (from the outside u could see the room). It was dirty. The owner (Jusuf) showed us 2 more rooms with the same problems then he refused to give our money back because "we paid earlier" (later booking told us that they cant give us a refund if he refuses). When booking called him suddenly he forgot to speak english and said everything looks like this because it is a "vintage hotel". Worst experience ever.

I’ve booked a room in it on Airbnb. It was called Amida House. But I came to realise they are the same thing. Probably doing it because of the terrible reviews on google maps. So as everyone is saying the room was full of mould and the walls were damaged. We left the place and managed to get a refund form Airbnb.

Potentially the worst hotel I have ever visited, there was no one there on arrival even though I checked beforehand and they said there would be. The place was filthy, I cannot overstate how dirty it was. The room absolutely stank of sewage (there was obviously something really wrong with the pipes) and there were blood stains on the bed. Staff did not care at all, no pride in their hotel whatsoever. Stayed for one night and left, even though I booked for longer. Awful place!

Insanely awful! And fraudulent! Certainly avoid this fraudulent place, guys! 1. Rooms are dirty and with mushrooms on the walls (see photos), which is bacteriologically not safe for your health! The bed was literally broken in 2 pieces! 2. Owner Yusuf is manipulative and fraudulent: first tried to avoid paying booking commission by cancellation of our booking and getting cash, then charged us 130$ by refusing to cancel our online booking, saying it is not possible and not refundable (!!!) after we refused to stay in this miserable cave. Which was a lie from him :( While we wanted to move out he tried to charge another ca. 130$ for the room we were not going to use (and politely told him that we move out)! But we blocked this credit card so he couldn't do it. So we lost 130$ for 1 night in the crooked hole. Please avoid this fraudulent place!

Do not stay at this hotel! This was probably the worst room I ever stayed in, especially considering the price. I've stayed in hostels that looked a lot better.
We reserved a room for 1 night with about a month in advance at the price of 45 euros. When we arrived we were moved to an adjacent building because the hotel was full. The reservation was guaranteed by credit card and we announced the hotel about our arriving time. The most important part of the reservation is keeping it, otherwise it's not a reservation.
And you shouldn't give a guest a room with mold in it!
The new room had nothing in common with the pictures shown on booking.
The bathroom was in a very bad state, with mold especially on the shower curtain and door. Mold was also on the sink, covered with sealant. No shower cabin was present, so you wash yourself while sitting on the toilet.
Furniture in the room was degraded and rusted, TV was not working, carpeting had an old smell, especially in the hallway. At the entrance to the building, some laundry bags were stored.
The only reason we didn't leave was because it was late, we were tired and we only had 1 night there.
On the good side, the bed linen seemed clean and the breakfast served in the Nuray hotel was ok.
Also, they say they have parking, which is not true. They try to find you a place to put your car on the small streets around the hotel or on some sidewalk.

1 star is still too much. You can’t believe the good reviews here. Hotel is super noisy, you can listen to conversation of your neighbors. Rooms on the garden side are full of mosquitoes. Bed linen and towels have dirty stains (visibly very old). The rooms have a damp problem and this can be seen on the walls and furniture. There is sewage smell coming from the bathroom. The bathroom is a horror to enter because of the mold. Spent 1 night there, because it was already late. I didn't sleep a wink and looked for another hotel the next day. Breakfast was very poor, not the same as on the pictures. Also ordered transfer for airport to hotel. On arrival (we had some delay) the driver was nowhere to be seen. After waiting 25 minutes in the cold and with a crying baby we took another taxi. Yusuf (employee of the hotel) wanted us to pay the 20 euro deposit for the taxi. According to him we should have waited for the taxi. Yusuf denies the hotel's flaws. You can't improve anything without recognition. Do not book this hotel!!! The hotel needs a complete renovation and different staff.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.
Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
