I had an excellent stay at Hotel Fresia in Istanbul and can confidently give it 5 stars. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Their hospitality truly made the experience special and made me feel at home.
The hotel itself is very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The room was spotless, cozy, and quiet, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was especially comfortable, which made a big difference after long days exploring the city.
The location is another huge plus. It is very convenient, close to public transportation, restaurants, and many of Istanbul’s main attractions, making it easy to get around and enjoy the city without any hassle.
I am giving 5 stars because of the outstanding staff, cleanliness, comfort, and overall experience. I would absolutely stay here again millions of time and highly recommend Hotel Fresia to anyone visiting Istanbul.
Pls go all to this amazing hotel ❤️!

Great little hotel in the center of Istanbul albeit it needs a little refreshing. The staff were helpful enough to provide some earplugs for the loud music coming from the club nearby

I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Fresia and I highly recommend it. The location is absolutely perfect convenient, central, and ideal for exploring the area. One of the best aspects of this hotel is the staff: everyone is incredibly kind, welcoming, and always super helpful, making you feel at home from the very first moment.
I have stayed at Hotel Fresia twice, and both times the experience was excellent. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Everything is taken care of with great attention to detail.
I would definitely come back again and strongly recommend Hotel Fresia to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing stay with amazing people and a fantastic location.

Good hotel, worth the price.
The location is excellent – one of the best things about this hotel. When I stayed, there was a city-wide water issue in Istanbul, and the hotel’s water tanks were emptied. The staff were very apologetic and clearly stressed about the situation — I was the one trying to calm them down!

The room was cleaned well every day. The only real issue was the low water pressure in the shower.

The guys at reception kindly helped me carry my heavy suitcases down the stairs. Overall, the staff were extremely polite and helpful.

A good stay for the price.

My husband I stayed here in the first week of July, this is a pretty great and budget-friendly hotel right in the heart of Istanbul. The location is amazing, walking distance from Istiklal Street, Galata Tower, and Taksim Square. Even the tram stop is just a 10-minute walk away, so getting around is super convenient.

Now, a heads-up: if you're into nightlife, you're going to love it here. Friday and Saturday nights were buzzing, there’s a bar downstairs that really keeps the weekend energy alive with loud music and partying. I saw reviews complaining about the noise, and yeah, it's definitely not ideal if you're traveling with toddlers or looking for quiet nights.

But personally, I enjoyed it. I didn’t even have the energy to go out after a long day of exploring, and just vibing to the music from my room window felt like I was part of the party. It kept me alive and lifted my mood.

The hotel itself was clean, the rooms were comfy, and the reception staff were really nice and helpful. If you’re a party-loving traveler or just want to be near all the action, this place is a solid choice.

Terrible experience ! (noisy, not clean and bed bugs/punaises de lit)
I rarely write bad reviews but I think this place is a tourist trap. I booked another hotel in the same street and they canceled my reservation 2 hours before I check in, pretending that my crédit card was not accepted. Which is weird because they texted me on what'sapp a few days before to ask is everything was fine and to try to sell me an Airport transfer. They did not try to call me they just canceled it though booking. It was fully book as soon as they canceled so they did surbooking... They finally gave me another room ("a better room for the same price" they said) in another hotel in the same street from the same owner. It looked indeed like a good hotel but:
- in the first room I discovered bed bugs poo on the mat and I found one bed bug; I told them and it seems they were aware of it because they directly gave me another room (where I did not see bed bugs)
- the room was not cleaned well: many hairs, blood on the wall next to the bed, dirty desk, even the coffee cups were dirty...
- it's above a nightclub with very loud music outside in the street and people dancing in the street. I was not able to sleep until the music stops (at 3am), even with earplugs. The Windows are bad, it's like there is no Windows. I've been in many countries and I've never expérienced music so loud in a hôtel. They told me that it's normal and that I have to wait 3am, which is a total lack of respect. They say that this is why the price is low, but I would not pay even 10 euros for that. The aim of a hôtel is to rest and sleep.
For all that and despite my complains, nobody apologized... I also think they have fake good reviews.
The only positive thing is that the guy at the réception was super nice.

I booked a stay over the weekend and was shocked that so many reviews ignored the fact that this hotel is on an extremely noisy street with a nightclub and bars. I could not sleep a single minute over the weekend because of how loud the parties were, that I could even hear it with noise cancelling headphones. While the service & hospitality is good, and rooms are average, I would NOT recommend that you stay here as you will get no rest at all. Additionally, the rooms and hallways had a frequent smell of sewage and the shower water was lukewarm at best. This was not a comfortable stay.

Best location all cafes pubs on same street, happening place 100m from tram station. Super friendly staff. All great time room very spacious.

Wish our shower head wasn't broken but we were too busy walking around nearby to spend much time dwelling on it. The hospitality was excellent. If you stay there, definitely grab a drink on the roof one night.

We had the most pleasant stay. The staff were so helpful best service we have had in Istanbul, always greeted us with a smile when we would leave and returning from a day of sightseeing. Answered any questions we had and offered to change our room when the door was not locking.
Rooms were cleaned daily at our request and the towels were fresh and soft. The hotel is nott far to walk to find places to eat and the metro is walking distance as well.
I would definitely recommend this place, so glad we stayed here on our last few days in Istanbul.
The music was not too bad, they did provide ear plugs and you just need to close the windows which helps minimise the noise.
Finally, so glad they have a elevator 😊
