Location is great, rooms are good, but service is just the best. We just returned from a 3 week vacation and stayed in 8 hotels. The service in this hotel was the best one, easily. They even give you coffee and tea whenever you feel like it and will add some extra cookies or baklava.

RANDOM STRANGER ENTERED MY ROOM WITHOUT MY CONSENT
I stayed at this hotel in November 2025 as a solo traveler. While the location is convenient and the staff were polite, I experienced a serious safety-related issue that others should be aware of.
On November 22nd around noon (third day of my stay), a man (hotel claimed it’s a new hotel employee) unlocked my door and entered despite the Do Not Disturb sign being displayed. He did not knock, had no cleaning equipment, and left immediately when he saw me. As a solo traveler, this was extremely unsettling because I left my important personal belongings in the room during my 3-night stay. I have no clue if the man entered my room in my first two days. I can’t help but think my personal information is leaked. I reported the incident right away, but I received no follow-up for the rest of the day until I followed up later at night, which made me unsure whether the hotel was taking the situation seriously or reviewing their security procedures.

We booked this hotel at midnight after issues with the hotel we originally booked. We arrived stressed, tired and thirsty.. Walking through their door at 20 past midnight, we were greeted by warm smiles and the offering of tea whilst we checked in... which was a resounding YES. It came with baklava and some other lovely treats. At that point we knew we'd made the right decision. We had a lovely, comfortable apartment with a kitcken and all we needed to make drinks and snacks, a lounge/single bedroom, double (king) bedroom and a bathroom with all toiletries included. The location is perfectly located for visiting all the sights around sultanahmet.. literally 2 mins walk.
Thank you Sadaret for rescuing our visit to Istanbul and making it a lovely stay... we'll be trying their breakfast tomorrow. 🥰

Management and owner of this company in my opinion are in the wrong business because in hospitality business as owner and management is being reasonable and understanding Not just monetary and selfishness. I had a reservation through booking.com to stay there from 11/5/2025 to 11/8/2025 which according to booking.com after talking to the management was good week before I travelled with my wife where we were in another country traveling before and wanted to spent 3 days in Türkiye Istanbul at this location, when we took a taxi from the airport to the location to check in and rest after so tired and wanted to rest, The manager Ramazan and according to him owner Emer told him to cancel the reservation so it’s cancelled I ask him when he cancel the reservation he said a day ago. I ask him why and if I can talk to the owner he replied he wouldn’t be in till tomorrow morning. This is not acceptable by any human being I am not the last to post this message there will be a lot more.

From the moment you arrive at Sadaret Hotel, you sense that this is a place where hospitality and comfort go hand in hand. Nestled right in the heart of Sultanahmet, the hotel offers an excellent location—just steps away from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, the Grand Bazaar, and Istanbul’s architectural gems. 
What stands out most is the staff. Guests regularly remark on how friendly, helpful, and genuine they are—always ready to assist with bags, give local tips, or ensure that your stay is as easy as possible.  The rooms and apartments are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped: many include kitchenettes, reliable WiFi, good air-conditioning, and lovely views over old-city rooftops or even the sea if you get a higher floor. 
There are a few small things to note: the building has stairs only—no elevator—which may be tough if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues.  Some front-street rooms are noisier, especially in the early morning or during busy times.  On occasion, internet connectivity or small maintenance issues come up, though nothing that seems to spoil the overall experience. 
Overall, Sadaret Hotel delivers fantastic value. If you’re visiting Istanbul and want to be right in the historic core, close to major sights, in a place where the staff makes you feel welcomed, this hotel is a great choice. It blends charm, practicality, and genuine Turkish warmth in a way that many larger hotels can’t.

Everything was good for me. The service is like 4stars hotel. The workers are friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable. The toilets is clean. Everything provided. Good heating for winter, air conditioner provided. I will stay here again for sure when I visited instanbul again.

Best affordable hotel I’ve ever stayed. They greet you with deserts and tea. Top tier service. Gokhan is the guy. They have taxi service and basically you can get all kind of personal services if you want. If you need anything, just bring it up.

This hotel was one of the best of our vacation stays. It was clean, comfortable, spacious and everyone from there was nice and very helpful.
We have stayed in the penthouse , room 304. We have felt very good here and if we would visit istanbul again, i would choose again this hotel.
There is just one single thing that you need to take into consideration. Because the location is in the old city center, there are no parking location provided by the hotel. They can only help to try and reserve a public parking spot in front of hotel, but this is not guaranteed.
We have parked in a near parking location and for 4 days we paid about 210 tl.
Overall, the hotel is a 5 star from my point of view and I can recommend this hotel for a city break.

Amazing, clean place with friendly manager and staff. The rooms are exaclty like the photos on their web page.
Its in very good location, walking distance from Blue Mosque, Haga Sophia, Grand Bazaar.
My fav place was the top terrace where you can enjoy amazing sunset and view on the Bosforus.

New refurbished very spacious and clean one bedroom apartment and a very good price. Very good location in walking distance from main tourist attractions and tram line. Manny restaurants and shops nearby. Personnel and owner very helpful and welcoming.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.
The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

small and nice hotel very central, easy to get around in every part of the city. the staff is polite and kind I was in Istanbul for work and a bit of vacation I managed to do both without problems. they recommended me a place not very touristy and very Turkish and I was able to play a bit.. thank

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.
Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
