Very mixed stay – professionalism and safety concerns

The hotel itself was acceptable and generally matched the description.However, our experience was strongly impacted by the behaviour of the receptionist, who was our only contact during the stay.

One evening he invited us to go out with him and his cousin after his shift to “have a coffee and drive around the area”. We did not accept. At 11:15 pm, he knocked on our room door to ask if we were ready to leave with them.

We are two young women travelling alone, and this situation made us extremely uncomfortable, especially as this request came from a staff member who had access to our room and personal details.

From that moment, we no longer felt safe in the hotel. We spent a very stressful night and decided to leave the property earlier than planned.

This review is not written to harm the property, but to highlight a lack of professionalism and an inappropriate boundary in a hotel context where guests should feel safe and comfortable.

We hope this feedback helps prevent similar situations for future guests.

Terrible hotel! They write reviews for themselves! Take a look – only Turks give it 5 stars! Dirty, cold, terrible location: no metro, couldn't find a tram, always have to walk uphill. Not recommended!

do not book this hotel! they are deceiving people! bad hotel. the hotel owner is a cheater and a liar! the reviews are fake! we booked the hotel a month in advance, received a booking confirmation. we arrived, and the owner took us to another hotel, which was much worse and argued that it was the same hotel. it was not true! he took the money out of hand! we argued with him, took the money and booked another hotel. do not fall for the reviews! they are fake!
