Moja City Hotel in Istanbul

The location of this hotel is amazing. I’ve been to Istanbul a few times. Kadıköy and this hotel specifically in Kadıköy are the perfect location.

Staff is respectful and professional. Super nice gentlemen and were all very happy to help. Shoutout to all of them.

Beds are comfortable but very short. Not standard size twins and the sheets/comforters are even shorter. Still super comfortable.

Cleanliness is ok. Not the most clean but not super dirty. I sprayed bed bug spray on the sheets since you can see that they were not cleaned properly and had stains on them, but the bathroom was clean.

There are a few restaurants right under the hotel that are pretty local and open late which is awesome.

You’re basically off the street so it’s pretty noisy until 4-5 in the morning and then again starting 7, so if you’re a light sleeper, this may not work for you.

Knowing what I know; I would stay here again. Just make sure you don’t get robbed on the taxi ride from and back to the airport. Not literally robbed, but make sure you’re looking up the current price for that ride so you don’t end up paying too much more. Also, know what the bridge or tunnel fees are so you don’t overpay for that as well.

We had a nice stay here. The location of this hotel is perfect and the staff were always smiling and hospitable which made this a pleasant stay. The mattress was a bit too hard but overall I would definitely recommend :)

Such a great place with great people. Perfect location, but what has most impressed me is the staff. They were always so friendly. I had some challenges (not hotel related) during my stay, and the staff went above and beyond to help. If you are staying in this area, do not hesitate to book here.

Best hotel Stay in My life so far,
Everything was perfect, from the location ( right into the heart of Kadikoy neighborhood, in the Asian side ), which allows you to have nearby metro, Marmaray, buses and the ferry boat, to move around the city easily, the room was super clean and exceeded my expectations, and in general the hotel has a modern twist which I liked a lot, the breakfast was almost an entire lunch, with a selection of cold and hot drinks, a plate with a full Turkish breakfast, with the side of fresh omelettes, boiled eggs or menemen, particular mention to the staff, from the breakfast and cleaning ladies which are lovely, to the 3 guys at the reception, Ilker A.,Yavuz T., and Mehmet T., three of the kindest human beings I've ever met in my life, the best ambassadors for this hotel and in general of the city of Istanbul, they have welcomed and treated us PERFECTLY, almost like a family, from the arrival to the departure, always with a smile, we really felt like at home, there's no way to thank them enough for their service and their passion doing that, you can't just find anywhere else.
They even satisfied a little last minute request of mine to make a surprise to my girlfriend, which was above everything I could imagine,

I stayed at Moja City Hotel for one week and had a good experience. The room was just as it appeared on the website. It was nicely decorated in a modern style, clean, and although it wasn’t very large, it was definitely comfortable. There was plenty of lighting and enough power outlets which made it practical as well. Further, there were 2 safes, an empty mini fridge, a hairdryer, a big mirror and air conditioning. Housekeeping was great, I received fresh towels and water every day. The only downside of the room was the bed, it was a bit on the firm side, but that’s more of a personal preference (and may not be an issue for you).

Breakfast was included in the price which was a big plus. Besides the standard Turkish breakfast platter, you could choose how you wanted your eggs prepared.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. I was regularly greeted when entering the hotel. Sometimes they offered me tea or coffee. As a solo female traveler, safety was one of my top priorities. I felt very safe during my entire stay. The communication via WhatsApp was okay as well.

One of the best features of this hotel is its location!! It’s right across Kadiköy İskelesi and the bus station (just a 5 min walk). This made it so easy to explore all parts of Istanbul using public transport, especially the ferry. I even had a little sea view from my room (I stayed in 203), with the Hagia Sophia visible from the distance. The hotel is located on the beginning of a relatively busy street, so it was a bit noisy sometimes, but if you close the windows the noise is quite reduced, so it did not bother me that much.

Although the price was a bit on the higher side, I think it was worth it. I would stay here again :)

All the staff are great, very friendly and attentive, they make you feel welcome and cared for. The hotel itself is very clean and in a prime location on the Asian side of İstanbul, you get both the more local vibe and warmth of that side with the European side literally 20 mins by ferry. We would stay again in a future visit for sure.

I recently stayed at Moja City Hotel in Kadikoy and had a fantastic experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The hotel's location is superb, conveniently situated near the bus stop, ferry, and tram, making it easy to explore the vibrant city. The overall atmosphere was welcoming, and I highly recommend Moja City Hotel for a comfortable and well-located stay in Kadikoy.

Even though we were not guests in the hotel, they accepted our luggage to store for free and were so polite, refusing to take any money. That was a really surprising experience to see something like that in Istanbul, where right now everything is only about money. I am surely going to stay in this hotel on my next visit, and I also recommend the same to everyone else. It is really hard to find such a hotel with kind staff in Istanbul, in my experience, even in the big brand hotels, the staff's attitude is 0/10.

My hotel stay was amazing. Staff was incredibly kind, so sweet, helpful, always smiling and very hospitable. The room was clean, very nice, and i was really happy with it. Location of hotel is prime, so close to everything, walking distance to a lot of nice shops. The staff were very polite always offering us tea and coffee. My hotel experience was amazing, would def 100% recommend, and i am def coming back! Thank you for such a great experience. PS hotel breakfast is to die for, very delicious!!
