An ideal hotel for a short trip to Istanbul. A 10 out of 10 location with a beautiful view of the Sultanahmet Mosque. Ayasofya on rooftop terrace The rooms are small but very clean and welcoming. The hotel staff Sezer and Farid deserves special attention (as a bonus) with the friendly Spanish speaking owner Morad . I can highly recommend of the Mytra Hotel, . They recommend excursions and tell you where to go shopping. Only positive impressions of a stay here.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel. Due to a sudden death in my immediate family, my partner and I were no longer able to travel to Turkey and keep our booking. When I requested cancellation and explained the extremely difficult circumstances behind the cancellation I received a very cold response informing me that in future I should book the refundable option. This was extremely upsetting, and when I called the hotel to request further explanation of their response and asked for the hotel to grant a partial refund, the gentleman who took my call interrupted me and spoke over the top of me. I was stunned and hurt by the lack of compassion shown by their employees and the manner in which this situation was handled.

We booked the hotel by checking reviews and pictures from booking.com. Location wise, the hotel is nice, but i was upset with rooms. The pictures we have seen on the website do not resemble them. Reception people were very well behaved and helpful. I want to give them 5 out of 5, especially Mr. Farid ( morning shift in charge and the other guy who worked there in the evening shift.
We couldn't go near the hotel the day off arriving because of a truck. And we faced almost the same during the departure time.

The smallest hotel I have ever stayed at but a very good one. Four stories high with two rooms on each floor. Each person at reception was very helpful and offered good recommendations. We had a lovely room wth a balcony overlooking the sea. The bed was comfortable and bathroom well equiped. We had breakfast downstairs but someone would bring breakfast to your room, take it outside downstairs or take it up to the rooftop for you. The location was excellent being an easy walk to the blue mosque, Hagia Sophia and Grand bazaar. There were also many restaurants nearby. Nothing was too much trouble and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Like everywhere in the city the hotel suffers from street noise, crowded neighbourhoods and small rooms, but if you accept that, then this place has everything you need; good air con, roof terrace for breakfast and any other time, nice food and as much as you want. The stand out are the staff. They couldn't be nicer and so helpful - I loved my time here.

Thank you for the best service we have ever witnessed in Istanbul. I came here for a good meal from Kazakhstan with my friends, but also got a very good emotions. Kurban is very intelligent and welcoming person, all the staff was friendly and polite. Thank you!!

COME DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY! Super fun place if you're looking for a sparklers-DJ-dancing-on-a-rooftop vibe. We went late night for some drinks and caught a PARTY instead. If nightclubs are your scene, there's no better way to do it than here because you also have the best view of the blue mosque.

It was a fantastic experience with wonderful hospitality! We ordered drinks and food, and afterward, they generously brought us tea and some sweets on the house. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. if I visit Istanbul again, I’d definitely come back here. Also, such an amazing view.

I can only give all the praise for the Hotel and the employees. The hotel is in a great location where everything is available to you. From the moment we arrived, the employees welcomed us very warmly and helped us with our luggage. They were happy to help us with any information we needed. The rooms are tidy and are cleaned every morning. I even received a gift for my birthday that was waiting for me in the room to my wonderful surprise. My rating is 10. All recommendations from the bottom of my heart. I can very happily recommend this hotel. Thank you and see you next time. Greetings from Bosnia and Herzegovina
