The staff was good and the location as well, but the room had some issues that needed some maintenance, for example, the fridge's door was broken, I said to one of the employees, he just replied "Yeah, I know", and another small things that needed more care.

The apartments are located near Taksim Square. This is the only advantage of their location. Once tourists cross the square beyond the first line of buildings, they find themselves among dilapidated, half-ruined buildings. Some buildings, in complete disrepair, are fenced with metal profiles or mesh. Among them are renovated entryways, where the Taksim apartments are located. Apparently, cardboard or some similar material was used during the renovation and the construction of new walls, as there is no soundproofing at all. The staircase in the remaining entryways is steep, very narrow, and spiral. Climbing up with suitcases is difficult. I was unlucky: the room I was given was extremely dirty and smoky, even though I had booked a non-smoking room. The next day I found the maid sitting on the stairs opposite the door to my room and smoking right in the building (((( It was extremely unpleasant, since all the smoke from her cigarettes was drawn into my room. The room is equipped with a kitchen (sink + stove), but the dishes provided were: 2 plates, 1 fork, 1 spoon, a frying pan the size of a basin, two glass glasses. The table had crooked legs with burnt holes. The walls were stained with dirt or construction debris, and paint was covered right on top of these uneven areas. The baseboards were falling off. The bed linen was dirty, unpleasant, and smelled bad. I am attaching a photo. Honestly, I felt offended for Istanbul. How much do you have to dislike your city to offer guests such uncleaned, bad-smelling, unequipped rooms ((((( The room was never cleaned, water was not provided, nor was toilet paper. I think, Apartment owners should think seriously about service.

Exceptional stay!
Our experience at this hotel was truly wonderful. The place was clean, quiet, and perfectly located — just a few minutes’ walk from Taksim Square, with easy and straightforward access.

What really made our stay outstanding was the kindness and help of an Iranian gentleman named Arash. Even though the hotel is easy to find, we arrived in Taksim by bus, and he kindly came to meet us there and helped us get to the hotel.

The room had everything we needed, and whenever we asked for something extra, Arash provided it immediately and with genuine courtesy. His local tips and recommendations felt like having our own private tour guide in Istanbul!

Check-out was smooth and easy.
Overall, both the hotel itself and Arash’s exceptional support made this one of the best stays we’ve ever had in Istanbul.

Initially surprised with 3rd floor suite with no elevator access. Easily upgraded to another building with elevator. Rooms are tight for space. You get what you pay for! Hassle free stay otherwise. Helpful staff.
