Hotel Black Pearl in Istanbul

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we felt at home.

The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was consistent and respectful of our belongings. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied.

The location was ideal—close to key attractions, but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep.

We went with my family and had a great time. Since we have two children, the room was large enough for four people and the location was perfect.

Very central location, very clean, and has extremely good service and staff. Breakfast is excellent. This is our second time here, and we’ll definitely come again.

The hotel is in good location, easy walking distance of Istanbul’s main attractions.

I stayed with my family and it was great 👍. They had good breakfast buffé and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Amazing housekeepers everything was always clean and restocked👌. The best part was that it was a really good location, about 10 min walk to Hagia Sophia, 15 min walk to Egyptian bazaar, 8 min walk to the ferries and the tram was even closer.

As a frequent customer, I can vouch for this hotel’s cleanliness, family-friendly feel, and excellent location, it being walking distance from all major attractions, markets, and transport links.
Rooms are quite small, but they are modern, with linens and towels always seeming new and fresh, and the bathrooms kept in great condition.
Staff are lovely and always keen to help, such that whenever requests are made, they try to cater to them immediately, especially Hamit. They are also very trustworthy and the hotel is safe overall.
In terms of the breakfast, there is always good variety, with fresh and tasty food available; it seems the chef enjoys their work, and is creative in their offerings, which is great to witness. It’s also nice that the chef comes to check on the food items from time to time. What I would mention is that several years ago, there used to be a soup available each morning also, but unfortunately this is no longer the case. However, there are now complimentary savoury biscuits/pastries available throughout the day to compensate for this, although I think it would be nice to have complimentary coffee/tea alongside this, like some other hotels. Similarly, the snacks/drinks in room fridges used to be complimentary, but no longer, which is a shame.
All in all, I would go back to this hotel, and would recommend it to others visiting Istanbul.

Great location, good breakfast and very friendly staff

We were very pleased, Aslan speaks Russian perfectly, is very polite, Ertan, Baran and other guys are great, they know how to meet and see off guests... The rooms were cleaned daily, hygiene products, bar, etc. were replenished.

First of all, the disappointing thing was that not only the tram sound but also the noise from the inside walls of the room and the outside corridor kept coming. There was a hardened urine stain on the toilet cover and the Wi-Fi connection was not working properly. And when I turned off the room light, the blue light from the cart key slot kept blinking noticeably. The good thing was that the desk hotel staff were friendly and the breakfast was more varied than I thought. And thanks to the hotel luggage storage service, I was able to move around comfortably👍👍
In addition, the hotel name is written as 'HOTEL BLACK TULIP' on the hotel exterior and the hotel room manual paper, but on Trip.com, the hotel name is 'HOTEL BLACK PEARL', so I wonder if the hotel name on Trip.com is an error.
