Hotel Black Pearl in Istanbul

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm and welcoming. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff went out of their way to make sure we felt at home.

The room was spacious and clean. Housekeeping was consistent and respectful of our belongings. The breakfast buffet was fresh and varied.

The location was ideal—close to key attractions, but still quiet enough for a peaceful night’s sleep.

We went with my family and had a great time. Since we have two children, the room was large enough for four people and the location was perfect.

Very central location, very clean, and has extremely good service and staff. Breakfast is excellent. This is our second time here, and we’ll definitely come again.

The hotel is in good location, easy walking distance of Istanbul’s main attractions.

I stayed with my family and it was great 👍. They had good breakfast buffé and the staff were both friendly and helpful. Amazing housekeepers everything was always clean and restocked👌. The best part was that it was a really good location, about 10 min walk to Hagia Sophia, 15 min walk to Egyptian bazaar, 8 min walk to the ferries and the tram was even closer.

As a frequent customer, I can vouch for this hotel’s cleanliness, family-friendly feel, and excellent location, it being walking distance from all major attractions, markets, and transport links.
Rooms are quite small, but they are modern, with linens and towels always seeming new and fresh, and the bathrooms kept in great condition.
Staff are lovely and always keen to help, such that whenever requests are made, they try to cater to them immediately, especially Hamit. They are also very trustworthy and the hotel is safe overall.
In terms of the breakfast, there is always good variety, with fresh and tasty food available; it seems the chef enjoys their work, and is creative in their offerings, which is great to witness. It’s also nice that the chef comes to check on the food items from time to time. What I would mention is that several years ago, there used to be a soup available each morning also, but unfortunately this is no longer the case. However, there are now complimentary savoury biscuits/pastries available throughout the day to compensate for this, although I think it would be nice to have complimentary coffee/tea alongside this, like some other hotels. Similarly, the snacks/drinks in room fridges used to be complimentary, but no longer, which is a shame.
All in all, I would go back to this hotel, and would recommend it to others visiting Istanbul.

Great location, good breakfast and very friendly staff

We were very pleased, Aslan speaks Russian perfectly, is very polite, Ertan, Baran and other guys are great, they know how to meet and see off guests... The rooms were cleaned daily, hygiene products, bar, etc. were replenished.

The hotel was soo clean and the sheets were so good ot looks new every day i dont know how they managed to do that and pretty good rooms and one of the best breakfasts on the turkey hotels I have had and everyone were really good and eratan was specially very helpful,even helped with even thing’s outside their job like helping me break my suitcase which got jammed and few others too and the cleaning staffs are really good
