Staying at Hammamhane Hotel was a fantastic experience overall. The staff were incredibly attentive and helpful, the location is unbeatable—just a 5-minute walk to İstiklal Street through charming alleys—and the rooms are spacious, quiet, and comfortable with daily cleaning and plenty of complimentary water as a nice bonus. The only minor note is the steel reinforcements (installed for earthquake safety) that can carry some noise at night, but there are clear signs asking guests not to run on the metal stairs, and it didn't bother us at all. We'll definitely return!

The room was spacious and stylish, with a beautiful balcony I unfortunately couldn't enjoy due to the heat. Service was excellent, and there's an elevator for convenience. The breakfast was delicious, with complimentary, unlimited tea and coffee. Soundproofing was good, and the hotel's location was super convenient for getting around. The neighborhood was generally quiet, without much street noise. The bedding (duvet and pillows) was also very comfortable.
My only minor issue was that the room felt quite dusty, with what seemed like fabric lint. As someone with rhinitis, I found this a bit bothersome.
But for the price, the hotel offers excellent value and is truly fantastic.

Facilities: The room, while not huge, is incredibly well-equipped. It has all the kitchen essentials, including a dishwasher, microwave, and even a washing machine, making it ideal for travelers.
Service: The service was truly outstanding! During check-in, the owner was incredibly thorough, asking about our needs and introducing nearby attractions. He even marked directions on a map for us. He then personally escorted us to our room, explaining how to use the appliances, breakfast times, and specific entry/exit procedures.
The most impressive part was definitely the breakfast. It was incredibly delicious and abundant, featuring a wonderful variety of perfectly cooked egg dishes. The staff member who served us was also exceptional; he'd consistently ask if we preferred coffee or tea whenever we met, and if there was anything else he could do to help.

Room was very clean, pleasant and spacious with complimentary water which can be refilled without limitation. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of quality options.
One important note: if your room entrance faces the courtyard, be cautious with the housekeeping door sign as it can fall off in windy conditions. Unfortunately, despite placing the 'No Housekeeping' sign, staff entered and cleaned my room anyway. This was an uncomfortable invasion of privacy and was the only blemish on an otherwise pleasant stay.

First of all, I’ve been amazed by the interior design of the hotel and how they’ve combined the modern design with the traditional one. Transportation is quiet easy and straightforward since it is located close to one of the most famous streets in Istanbul. I’d highly recommend the Superior Studio if you are planning to stay as 2 people, room is quiet spacious and you have all the amenities you’d need inside. I’d also give 10/10 for the cleanliness of the room and the whole facility actually. Also all staff was exceptional with their friendly and helpful attitude. Lastly, breakfast was quiet tasty and there was nothing to be complained about. I’d like to thank all the staff and management of Hammamhane.

The best place we could have stayed in Istanbul! Friendly team who are so helpful with anything you need, and local recommendations. Don't forget to ask them for an Istanbulkart card to use during your stay.
The location is perfect - quiet street with cool vintage shops and nice places to eat nearby. It's walking distance to Istikal Street, and transport links.

Deniz and the entire staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly, going out of their way to help us throughout our stay. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. Fantastic breakfast offering which we took full advantage of each day.

I booked four nights for my relative and
One of the my cousin is handicapped he can’t see an walk , they after me and my wife tried to go and visit them in the room, the hotel manager didn’t allow us to go visit them

It was a small and good hotel.
Rooms were so clean and the breakfast area has a panaromic view.
But the variety of breakfast food was not good enough.

For 4* hotel is not that good, staff is not welcoming, they are not speaking english that good so for everything we want we have that language barrier. Breakfast is nice because of the view but everyday offer for breakfast is the same.
Location is very good because taksim square is near so you have metro, bus and everything is close to you.

The room is too small ( bathroom is separated only by glass from the sleeping room) , it was not clean at all, no bright lights, the service was not good.
Only the food was good, so better look for another place :)

Don't even consider coming here. Hotel staff is rude, they told us we had to pay extra for breakfast even though it was included in our booking. Rooms are very small and extremely smelly. Elevators are small as well. Only good thing was the breakfast but not good enough to recommend the hotel.
