Truly an east meets west experience. Arriving at the Azade Premier reminded us of arriving at a 3rd class hotel in India. Shabby building on dirty backstreet. The lobby wasn't much better. However the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were large and comfortable but not well appointed as in the pictures. No carpets on the floors which were worn and scatched. Threadbare carpets on stairwell and halls with vacuum cleaners stored in the stairwells. Overall a tired and worn hotel.. The breakfast was fabulous however and we did get great sleeps and enjoyed the large room with decorative ceiling and very pleasant staff. We have stayed in other hotels in Sultanamet in the past so thought it important to post this review to temper expectations.

Amazing experience! The breakfast was delicious, the rooms were comfortable, and the staff were so friendly. They were very helpful and willing to provide excellent recommendations. A great location in Old Town close to many food options and very close walking distance to the Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great experience

Hotel in a great location to visit the old part of Istanbul, very clean and welcoming. The staff was very kind and helpful, Mart gave us a great help in recovering the SIM cards we had booked. I highly recommend it

Hotels at the starting and ending points of your Türkiye tour
After playing around, I found that the breakfast in this hotel is rich, but it is on the basement floor. It would be better if it was placed on the roof.

The staff are what made this hotel extra special. They are the friendliest, most helpful people I met in Istanbul. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The hotel is well situated in historic Sultanahmet and within easy walking distance of so many of Istanbul's most famous buildings. Their Turkish breakfasts are excellent - such a wide choice of delicious food. I would stay here again and will certainly recommend Azade Premier Hotel to my friends and family.

For the t****th time to Azade, perfect from staff friendliness to management. Everything is nearby, you can easily walk to everything you need to see at first glance and then take it easy. Are you tired yet? Azade is waiting for you.. Top, top Third time of course again Azade.

Nice location the place is under renovation , the staff were very sweet polite and helpful. The guy at the buffet was very professional.. they guys at the front desk as well they helped me a lot to solve my problems. The location is walking distance from the blue mosque and Sophia Mosque, palace the Black Sea , restaurants, bazar, shops, pharmacy and etc. the vies to the blue mosque from the rooftop are amazing unfortunately most of the rooms are broken, the main entrance is just ruin. I believe they don’t have parking. The hairdryer does not work well, the wifi was not great central heating was not working. . Most of the staff doesn’t speak English but they were very nice and sweet with me using google translator .

We really liked this charming hotel with very pretty typically Ottoman decoration, very comfortable and clean room, very kind and attentive staff but at the same time very discreet, and just perfect location 👌 we were really touched when we arrived, tired very early in the morning on a night flight they offered us free breakfast while waiting for our room to be ready and speeded up the check in, one thing is certain we recommend this hotel without hesitation
