I booked a room with a king-size bed. When I arrived they said it's not available. They gave me a room with 2 single beds and said push them together. In what world do 2 single beds pushed together make a king-size bed.
It was late and I had no choice but to stay. So the next day I left.
If you don't have the room available then don't offer it.

Unfortunately this is a terrible hotel for the for the following reasons:
1. The room isn't located in the photo on the website. It's a 5 minute walk round the corner to a run down building.
2. It's located withing 5 meters of the train line so it's very noisy everytime a train goes past.
3. The room was freezing cold. I had to walk to reception in the freezing cold rain. It turn out that the heating integrated into the air-conditioning is combined into one unit and all the hotel rooms need to be on the same setting for it to work. She had to go to every room to fix the problem.
4. There's a kettle and 4 cups in the room. I wanted to prepare a coffee but there's no coffee or tea. The receptionist said that the hotel doesn't provide this. Why provide a kettle and cups if the hotel is so mean not to provide coffee and tea?
5. The door handle in the bathroom fell off and my daughter got stuck in the bathroom.
6. Only one toilet roll provided for a family room. Had to go back to reception to get another roll.
7. Hairs were found on the towels. Never have I seen this before. Back to the receptionist to get clean towels.

1ST OF ALL ONE LADY WAS THERE, HER NAME IS SUNA , SHE IS VERY GOOD AND VERY HELPFUL AND KIND. PICTURE SHOWING THAT , HERE IS KITCHEN BUT THERE IS NO KITCHEN AT ALL. TOILET DOOD WAS BROKEN, ALL ELECTRIC PLUG BROKEN, ADVERTISED SHOWING THAT SOFA 🛋 THERE BUT NO SOFA AT ALL. MOST INPORTENT THING IS AIR CONDITIONER NOT WORKING AT ALL. THIS HOTEL IS VERY NOISY BECAUSE THERE IS BUILDING WORK GOING ON. MY BOTH CHILDREN COULDN'T SLEEP AT ALL SPECIALLY IN DAY TIME NEP.

I stayed here for my graduation trip. I don't think it's easy to find accommodation so close to major tourist spots at this price. The hotel staff and other guests were all very kind, and it was a great trip! A hair dryer, air conditioning, towels, shampoo, and soap were all provided. Everything was provided, so I didn't need to bring anything from Japan. Toothbrushes and conditioners were not provided, so I recommend bringing your own.

Booked 2 rooms for 6 people. When we arrived they had one room in the hotel for 2 people and another room in a building down the road. This was really not what we needed. Took us to the building only 3 single beds. After an hour we took the seperate beds and they put a pull out bed in the room of 4. The room for 4 stunk of musty mops, bed sheets had hairs and blood stains on. Went to reception and the man said he would change the sheets, which he did but only the sheets. The pillow cases and duvet cover was not touched. The shower filled up and was flooding the floor when in use, the bathroom stunk of damp and the front of the sink unit was off. Toilet roll wasnt replenished. We asked for clean towels and the person brought the towels over at 12:30 am he opened the room door, one of our party was in the room by herself when he came it which made her feel unsafe. The receptionist argued with us over this, said she should have heard him knock and say do not come in at this time, she still asked us to leave a good review. We also found out we had the master key for the apartments. We found this out as our friends had a room next door. This made us feel really unsafe as we thought if we had a master key who else had one. This is a really bad security mistake. Location is good, however the establishment is not good. A lot of work on cleanliness and saftey needs to be looked at. We couldnt wait to check out. We did request our money back to fimd someting more suitable but the hotel declined.

I arrived to Istanbul and stayed at Sur Hotel. It was a fabulous experience from when I walked through the door and greeted by a young man named Royal. The room was excellent, very clean great hot water and equipped with a kettle and mini fridge . I enjoyed my stay that I extended it a month. Everyone is wonderful working here and the owners are excellent always making sure I had everything I needed! Thank you Sur Hotel I will be back ! 😻😻

Thank you for the best service we have ever witnessed in Istanbul. I came here for a good meal from Kazakhstan with my friends, but also got a very good emotions. Kurban is very intelligent and welcoming person, all the staff was friendly and polite. Thank you!!

COME DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY! Super fun place if you're looking for a sparklers-DJ-dancing-on-a-rooftop vibe. We went late night for some drinks and caught a PARTY instead. If nightclubs are your scene, there's no better way to do it than here because you also have the best view of the blue mosque.

It was a fantastic experience with wonderful hospitality! We ordered drinks and food, and afterward, they generously brought us tea and some sweets on the house. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. if I visit Istanbul again, I’d definitely come back here. Also, such an amazing view.

I can only give all the praise for the Hotel and the employees. The hotel is in a great location where everything is available to you. From the moment we arrived, the employees welcomed us very warmly and helped us with our luggage. They were happy to help us with any information we needed. The rooms are tidy and are cleaned every morning. I even received a gift for my birthday that was waiting for me in the room to my wonderful surprise. My rating is 10.
