I genuinely didn’t think it was possible to have such a terrible experience at a hotel, but La Pazza Suite Hotel in Istanbul has proven me wrong. From the moment we arrived, we were met by Bharesh—without a doubt, the worst scammer in the hotel industry. He insisted that we had underpaid for our room and demanded an extra €10 per night, even though the price was never disclosed when we booked. How can one "underpay" for a room that wasn’t correctly priced to begin with?

Communication was a nightmare. Nobody at the hotel speaks English, making it impossible to address any of our concerns. When we requested cleaning for our room, we returned to find it untouched. The state of the room itself was appalling—dirty, noisy, and absolutely unacceptable. To add insult to injury, there was food waste left in front of other rooms for days; obviously, cleanliness is not a priority here.

We were told check-in was at 2 PM, yet we weren't able to access our room until 4 PM. Just a complete lack of professionalism and hospitality. I have stayed at many hotels around the world, but this was truly the worst experience of my life. Do yourself a favor—skip La Pazza Suite Hotel and consider sleeping on the metro instead. You’ll thank yourself later.
