I highly recommend Tashkonak! I stayed there with my husband and infant daughter. The staff were extremely helpful, kind, and always happy to assist with any issues. The breakfast was wonderful and included a wide variety of items. They also provided us with hotel transportation in a luxury car.

I chose this hotel for convenience (close to historical district of Istambul) and because I could accommodate my family of 5.
This is a local hotel in an old building. Super close to the Blue Mosque and the palace.
Staff is welcoming and accommodating.
Room was average and cleanliness can be improved. We were on the street side and it was very noisy. One of the bed was narrow and too firm.
Breakfast was included but often lacking proper replenishment.

Hello. I spent a few days in Istanbul. The hotel was adequate considering the price paid per night, but the most important thing was the service and the staff, who were very pleasant and welcoming.

Yes everything was fresh but imferior to the that we had before. I stayed here in 2015 as well.
they have wonderful staff. Hotel is at walking distance from all inportant places. The mosque infront of hotel is also historic and beautiful.

Staff was super friendly and helpful to me and my family of 5 . Considering that I had small kids and tired they trined to get me in the room as early as they could , room was clean and spacious. Area so close very good food and groceries .

Location was convenient to sights and transportation, with plenty of dining options close by.
I booked an economy room on the main floor hoping to avoid stairs with my large suitcase, but the main floor is down a flight. Luckily staff carried my bag for me.

COME DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY! Super fun place if you're looking for a sparklers-DJ-dancing-on-a-rooftop vibe. We went late night for some drinks and caught a PARTY instead. If nightclubs are your scene, there's no better way to do it than here because you also have the best view of the blue mosque.

It was a fantastic experience with wonderful hospitality! We ordered drinks and food, and afterward, they generously brought us tea and some sweets on the house. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. The food was delicious. if I visit Istanbul again, I’d definitely come back here. Also, such an amazing view.

I can only give all the praise for the Hotel and the employees. The hotel is in a great location where everything is available to you. From the moment we arrived, the employees welcomed us very warmly and helped us with our luggage. They were happy to help us with any information we needed. The rooms are tidy and are cleaned every morning. I even received a gift for my birthday that was waiting for me in the room to my wonderful surprise. My rating is 10. I had an absolutely wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The service was impeccable, the rooms were spotless and beautifully decorated, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of.

The location was perfect, the amenities were top-notch, and the overall atmosphere was both relaxing and luxurious. I can confidently say this was one of the best hotel stays I’ve ever had. Highly recommended – I will definitely be coming back!

I stayed at this hotel with my father for 7 days. The location is impeccable. We stayed in one of the rooms facing the hippodrome and it was really worth it. The breakfast was also very good and varied and the view was just wonderful. But the best part of this hotel was its kind, professional and friendly staff. Everyone, from the ladies who prepared breakfast, to the house keepers, to the receptionists, were all extremely warm and friendly. Mr. Mesut, the manager was incredibly helpful and gave us a lot of good guidance on what to do and see. He was really polite, kind nad professional. I can't say enough about how welcome him and his team made us feel. Next time we are in Istanbul, we will do our best to book a room with them again. 5 stars.

Very safe hotel , with a great location, i was very comfortable living in it because its beside a police station.

Negatives :
- elevator is too small , it can take 3 maximum without the bags
- breakfast is not varied, repeated , everyday the same food, with a very very small changes
- food is too expensive, i bought a Sandwich for 600TL

Positives :
- Ali is a great guy , helped me a lot , i hope for him a good day
- staff is very cooperative and friendly thanks to them
- the hotel takes the customer reviews seriously

What can I say about this hotel, pure hospitality and a must stay when your in Istanbul. Take it from me the service is special especially Mehmut and Sena who always greet you and take care of you whenever you need. Sena especially well done! The breakfast is fresh whenever you need no matter what time you get up. If you need a top up a fresh portion it will be made for you.
