Grafen Hotel in Istanbul

I really enjoyed my stay at Grafen Hotel. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and just what I needed. The location was perfect — close to historical sites, shops, and public transport, all within easy walking distance. I felt very safe during my stay. The staff were friendly and always ready to help. Although there’s no food service, there are plenty of nice cafes and restaurants nearby. Quiet at night and super convenient for exploring the city. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed one night at Grafen Hotel and it exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel right at home. The location was ideal — close to all the main attractions and easy to explore on foot. My room was spotless and very comfortable. I was able to find free parking on the street, and when it was full, Yenikapı İspark was a convenient and affordable option. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

The location is excellent—walking distance to major tourist attractions and very close to metro, bus, and tram stops. Prices in this neighborhood are much lower than in the old town, so we could really enjoy the local vibe—great meals, Turkish delights, and fresh juices—all at very fair prices.
The room was good value for money and worked really well for our 4-day family stay. It was the best-priced option at the time for a group of four.

I had a wonderful stay at Grafen Hotel! The rooms were clean, stylish, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly kind and made me feel right at home. I'm an American, I stayed here for a night with my friend because it was nighttime and we just arrived and probably should've done research first, but I still might spend two nights here. Prices are negotiable and not as listed. Starting price was around $35, but Turkey is full of haggling and they expect you to haggle as well. Haggled the price down to around $21 a night for a room in the back.

Room was small and so was the bathroom, cigarette smell too but our stuff was secure, so it was good enough given our time constraints. It's right next to a lot of the tourist attractions so it's within walking distance/Uber of what you want to look at. Staff mostly spoke Turkish with a little English. No air conditioning, but free wifi and there was some heater and windows.

Edit: Upgraded our room to one of the main ones upstairs in the first building; it had a fridge, two beds, an electric tea pot, a propane gas "stove", a sink, and a small but somewhat decent bathroom, with air conditioning as well, and a TV. Our stuff was secure and I even left money on the nightstand that nobody took, so our room was secure. The cost of this place was around $37-38 a night in the middle of October; not cheap compared to rent prices, but good enough. They also accept credit cards.

Apparently the Galata area has a lot of better hotels but we didn't look at it because we didn't have much time to scope things out. Don't bring your kids here, though. This is more like for couples or friends or solo travelers. It's still a somewhat decent hotel if you need a place to crash for a couple nights or more. Apparently, based on space and how you reserve, you can book rooms here for up to a month, maybe longer. We stayed here for seven nights in total; they have laundry services, outlet plugs for Americans, and sim cards with phones for foreigners.

The hotel manager at the desk is a good guy, he speaks enough English that you can understand him and he can understand you. He's also very polite and laid back. Yeah, I'd come here again.

Cozy and comfortable hotel with great location - 3 mins walk from metro station, 10 mins walk from a delightful embankment, 20 mins walk from Sultanahmet. Numerous cafes, restaurants and shops around. Rooms have everything you need for both short and long staying - a kettle, a refrigerator, you can use a washing machine in the hotel. The hotel is pet friendly - your pet will be treated like a guest here. If you came by car you can use a parking place just in front of a hotel. Friendly and hospitable administrators will help you with all your questions 24/7. The hotel will make you feel that real vibe of an old city you will never find in chain hotels. It's easy to feel at home here.

The location is very close to marmaray station to the Blue Mosque. The central location you can reach the desired location. The rooms are clean. The bed is very comfortable. The staff is friendly. Free WiFi internet available. The price is excellent. I would not recommend.

Beautiful room in a nice hotel. The stuff was very friendly (I think his name was Nemo or Meme). The room is huge, with a small kitchen and TV. Everything was spotlessly clean. The location is near to the subway, but the neighbourhood its not as pretty as you will expect, I was told that is not the best place to be walking during the night.
