The reception was very pleasant, the rooms in the hotel are very clean, I really like it, the city and its relevance are good, the prices are affordable.

There are no tissues in the room, nor basic toiletries like toothbrushes and toothpaste that we find in the smallest apartments.

The room was in good condition. However, Staff not very well prepared and hasn’t good manners.
They entered my room while I was in the shower. According to them, they had a problem in their system and my reservation disappeared after my check in. They never apologized, quite the opposite. The staff in charge was very rude to me when I asked the reason why they entered my room.
I don’t recommend it, considering there are several other options in the same area.

The hotel riva is nice. The room was spacious enough. The bathroom needs maintenance. And the hotel itself needs a good renovation. The lift is too small for 2 person and their luggage.
At the reception no proper information given to us. Staffs do not understand english. I dont speak turkish. I asked if they have a swimming pool they say no. They were not polite too. So rude. No smile no hello. Nothing. There was only 1 guy who was so helpful.
Breakfast was good. Lots of variety.
Location is very beautiful. But beside I saw an abandoned plot covered with steel. This is not nice. There should be a parking space for the coach bus so that it becomes easy and safe for the tourist to get from the bus and take their luggage. No need to walk a distance with the luggage to get in the hotel. I understand that the hotel is by the road but there should be safe and have a parking area.

✅️ The rooms might be a bit small, but they are very clean and odorless. However, there might be some noise from outside in the mornings.

I have stayed at this hotel, four times (4) with my family and friends. Riva is a very pleasant, safe, and comfortable hotel. The breakfast is complete, the rooms are clean, and the service is well-organized. The staff at the reception and service departments are very friendly and kind. I truly miss Riva Hotel.

Needs update the room which it s outdated, breakfast was ok. The coffee wasn’t best. The location was good and cheap to stay.

We had a fantastic stay with my family! The experience exceeded our expectations. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout. Breakfast was delicious, and Mr. Selim, the manager, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort—his attentiveness truly stood out. Our waiter, Bilal, was warm and accommodating, and Furkhan made our check-out process smooth and pleasant. For a 4-star hotel, you deliver 5-star service. Well done to the entire team!

I stayed at Nippon Hotel during the end of the year and New Year period. The hotel was fully booked, including many families, yet the overall experience was very good.
The service was excellent, the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and it fully matched my expectations. Housekeeping and staff support were professional and responsive.
Breakfast offered a good variety of options, and if something was not available, the staff were willing to accommodate special requests, which was appreciated.
The location of the hotel is also very convenient, with easy access to exchange offices, supermarkets, restaurants, and shisha cafés. Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable stay.
I wish the hotel continued success.

On the first night, I complained to the hotel because I couldn’t sleep due to the heat (in winter time), I was tired then. They were unable to fix the air conditioner, and next morning I asked to change rooms. They moved us to another room that is smaller, for four people, but with better air conditioning. This means I paid for a Family Deluxe room of 35 m² but had to stay in a room of about 20 m². This experience is bad.
I have stayed at three other hotels in Turkey during this trip, and all of them were good. Only Nippon Hotel made my holiday incomplete. I really regret choosing Nippon Hotel; if I had read other guests’ reviews on Google more carefully, I would not have made this booking.

I had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. The property is very clean, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and consistently helpful. I appreciated the thoughtful touches such as the welcoming fruit plates and Turkish delights, which made the stay feel even more personalized.
The breakfast was fair, with a reasonable selection. One of the strongest aspects of the stay was the team at the reception; they were always attentive, responding to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Overall, a comfortable stay with great service and good hospitality. I would happily consider returning.

Good service overall. In the rooms, the wardrobes are very small. If you plan to go with small children, you won’t be able to enter or exit with a stroller, which really annoyed me. The hotel doesn’t have parking. Breakfast is moderately good.

Edit 1: the issue is solved after a long discussion back and forth with the hotel and Booking.com.

I just arrived today at 2 PM, and the room was extremely hot. I asked the reception to check the air conditioning, and they told me it was fixed. I trusted them and went out for the day. When I came back around 10 PM, the room was even hotter!
I called the reception again (different shift this time), and the person told me there’s no cold air, only heating, because the entire building uses central AC. Seriously? Every guest has to accept the same temperature? What if someone wants a cooler room? This makes absolutely no sense.
I told him that if they cannot provide cold air, then please refund my money so I can move to another hotel. He told me to contact Booking.com. I did, and Booking informed me that the hotel just needs to send a confirmation email to approve a refund. However, the reception refused, saying that only the reservation team can do that — and they don’t work on weekends! So now I have to wait until Monday, meaning I’m forced to spend two nights in a room at 29°C!
This is completely unacceptable. Poor management, poor communication, and zero care for guests’ comfort. I am stuck here suffering because of their unprofessional system.
Avoid this hotel unless you enjoy sleeping in a sauna!
