Art City Hotel Istanbul - Boutique Class in Istanbul

My experience in this hotel is not too good not too bad. The location is perfect but the hotel rooms are not up to the mark. No toiletries in the toilets, bedsheets was having stains and the pillows were uncomfortable. The AC was working on its own as well. When I was outside the cleaner came to the room without informing and put all the lights and ACs off. The toilet was ok.
My suggestions if you are looking for budget friendly and near to attractions then it good to go, but if you want to prefer comfort then NO to this hotel.

Breakfast is very bad, rooms are very small, bathrooms are not working, no cleaning was done for 4 days, no insulation in the rooms, all the noise is inside, parking is a problem.. Close to the center

I'll start with the pros: - they cleaned every day: changed towels, made the bed, most likely did something else, but I didn't notice - a nice view of the sea from the window - a powerful hair dryer - at our request, they provided a heater, because it was cold in the room at night - there is free drinking water near the reception - nothing from our personal belongings was missing Cons: - the room does not match the photo, everything is absolutely different - the premises are old, need renovation - mold in the bathroom - the safe did not work - the bed linen, although clean, had holes - there is no sign on the door so as not to disturb (i.e. a cleaner will come to you every day, even if you do not want it) - the door to the balcony does not close tightly Breakfasts are a separate story The dining room looks tired, to put it mildly. The photos of the restaurant, which are on the website, are a lie. Upon entering the dining room, you immediately notice the open door to the room where they wash the dishes. Your appetite immediately disappears. The food was fresh, overall, you can get full. But you can feel that it was done in a slapdash manner. They offer bread, boiled eggs, sausages, salad, sliced ​​vegetables, butter, jams, cheese. Drinks: tea and coffee. The tables and chairs are old. Many guests do not clear away their dirty plates, and the staff rarely comes out to clean. In short, every day there was less and less desire to go back there. I chose the hotel based on reviews and photos. It turned out that you can't trust photos. And the level of standards is different for everyone: for some, everything described above is normal, but for others, it can spoil the impression of the trip. One thing is obvious: this is not a three-star hotel. If you are used to comfort and quality, you will not find them in this hotel.
