Reviews
However, the experience was extremely concerning. The yellow taxi (number 34 TFH 39) arrived, and as soon as we boarded, we noticed the driver’s seat was pushed far back, leaving my son with almost no legroom. Despite politely asking the driver to adjust the seat, he refused.
Throughout the 45-minute journey, the driver drove recklessly — maintaining speeds of around 120 km/h even when there was no traffic. He was smoking in the car, playing loud music, and even watching music videos while driving. When I asked him to slow down, he responded rudely, saying, “I’m a professional, I know — be quiet.” His behaviour made us feel unsafe and anxious, and it genuinely seemed as though he might have been under the influence of something.
This was one of the most stressful taxi rides we’ve ever had. I’m very surprised that the hotel would describe their taxis as “safe.” Based on our experience, this was far from it — in fact, Uber would have been a much safer option.
Although our stay at the hotel itself was pleasant, this taxi experience has left us deeply disappointed and shaken. I hope the management will look into this matter seriously to prevent it from happening to other guests.
My boyfriend wanted to surprise me after stress circumstances that I had by booking 5 stars hotel. The air conditioning didn’t work, and the room was extremely hot we couldn’t sleep well for two nights. On the third day, they finally fixed it, but after two more days it started leaking water with smoke❗️We reported it to the reception twice in the morning and once at night, and the staff member named Ugoz said he would send a technician, but no one came even after two hours ( that was at night). We had to sleep in the boiling room again. When we tried opening the window, mosquitoes came in.👎🏻 In addition, there was spider web in the upper corner of the wall and spider was crawling on the wall.
The bed was uneven 🛏️ one side higher than the other and we both woke up with back pain. The spa was another disappointment: the place smelled heavy of cigarettes, there was mold on the ceiling, and hair everywhere on the floor. The therapist clearly wasn’t professional she was african, and her body odor made the experience worse.
Breakfast was the only good thing, but even then, we saw a very unprofessional scene, a kitchen staff member shouting right in front of the guests at a buffet employee lady just because she politely said to him they were out of eggs. Also, when you order Orange juice which is extra, they bring the payment machine to your table during your meal instead of adding it to the bill at the end, very unpleasant.
Reception staff were rude, even with group guests. Unfortunately, after booking, we read other bad reviews and realized it was a mistake.
The fifth floor smelled like kitchen ( cooking smell) , there was staines on the towels and bed sheets. There were no basic bathroom amenities — no toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, or cotton buds. As 5 stars hotel these things should be provided.
The outdoor restaurant was awful in terms of food and music was too loud that you cannot chat with anyone and our main dish arrived after 45 minutes!
My partner felt really embarrassed because of this experience and he felt sorry that I didn’t feel comfortable for this hotel.
Honestly, it’s my first and last time here. I’ve stayed in 3-star hotels that were much cleaner, more comfortable, and far more professional than this hotel. Even something as simple as an umbrella for the rain, they didn’t have one.
