Nil Hotel in Istanbul

Cosy hotel in an lovely location, next to many restaurants and bars, markets and shops. Great value for the price, and nice self service breakfast prepared in the morning. The rooms and doors are not really noise proof but overall the rooms are good enough for the price.
Welcoming and friendly service especially by Ugur, who helped us with many things and avoid scams. Would come back, but with a room with a proper window facing outside, as many rooms have window facing the inside of the building.

Great value for money. We booked for a night because our flight was canceled and needed an affordable hotel until our next flight. This hotel had the best price of all the options, and it included breakfast. It's close to the metro, a 5-10-minute walk. There are about 6-7 small steps at the entrance to the building; there's no ramp. However, there's an elevator inside, making it easy to get to your room with large suitcases. The staff helped us carry our suitcases up to our room. The receptionist was very friendly and spoke good English. The room had slippers and tea making facilities; it was clean and simple. The room windows faced the street, so it wasn't noisy. There's good infrastructure nearby: shops, cafes, and restaurants. Many nearby cafes have lower prices than in tourist areas. Breakfast at the hotel is a classic Turkish breakfast (eggs, cheeses, herbs, vegetables, pastries, coffee, tea, etc.) from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. We were allowed to leave our suitcases before check-in and after check-out without any problems while we went shopping. The only problem with the room was the shower: a wall-mounted shower stall with a jacuzzi was in poor condition, many of the controls didn't work, and the hose had weak pressure. The bathroom was en suite, and toiletries included shower gel, shampoo, and towels. The room was spacious, with a balcony and air conditioning.

Beautiful hotel on the beach. Clean with balcony and tv. Great breakfast in the morning. Staff was awesome. They stored our luggage while we went to Rhodes for one night. One of the waiters from the wonderful restaurant saw us on the boardwalk wiping sand off of our feet and came over with a bucket of water and rinsed them for us. Such great service! Thank you Angel! We would stay again.

I spent two weeks at Nil hotel, and my experience was wonderful in every way. Here are some points I would like to share:

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Nil Hotel. From the warm welcome, to the large and clean room, breakfast with hot and cold foods, and good directions when I walked to many parts of Istanbul, the Nil Hotel was a good and safe place to stay as a single female traveler. I also enjoyed the comfortable family area of Sisli around it with cafes, kabab grills, and many stores. I plan to return soon.

Nil Hotel is a boutique hotel located in Nisantasi. Me and my wife stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Its location is central, 1 minute to the metro, 3 minutes to the shopping malls by foot. We will definitely choose it when we come to Istanbul again.
