Hotel Real Life in Istanbul

From the outside the hotel doesn't look like much but it's really lovely inside. The reviews from a few years ago seem really awful so either, the hotel really upgraded itself or reviewers were being unfair in their judgement. Staff work really hard and are very attentive to their work. The free breakfast buffet is absolutely lovely. The staff pay careful attention to all of the plates keeping them well stocked.I really enjoyed the choice and variety.
As for the actual rooms,the shower is a good size and the toilet has an 'anti drop lid'. Now this may seem unimportant to some but Turkiye seems to have an issue with flimsy toilet seats, that lid dropping on you is annoying and gross. The hotel doesn't have that problem. They've have installed 'anti drop' lids. I really appreciate this attention to detail.
It also has a kettle in the room and water is topped up with room service. Unfortunately the mini-bar wasn't working nor the television I informed them of this and help was offered immediately. (That said I think I was out when they came, and I waa leaving soon) They seem to be very deliberate in their upkeep of the premises.
The bed was okay, I slept comfortably. Linens were clean but a bit worn-nothing excessive though. The room wasn't overwarm or cold the heater maintained a steady temperature.
I found all members of staff very helpful and charming.

Now for the area, it is brilliant for getting anywhere. There are so many places to eat (especially close to the wonderful Ethiopean restaurant and Malaysian) and loads of Turkish food around, too much to mention. It's not posh or snooty, it's gritty. So if that is not your thing you may want to look elsewhere. But for anyone else, I would recommend this hotel and I would definately go back.

the hotel is good. the staff are friendly and cooperative.. the hotel is clean. it is near the transportation.
But the breakfast is bad, no variety, not much food even if you come early. some dishes are enough for two people at most not for the whole hotel. And if the dish finishes they do not put more.

For me it was very good stay: very nice people excellent service, reasonable size roome newly refurbished, tv, fridge wooden floor, nice clean breakfast, new matress

The Hotel was a pleasant suprise, as it doesn't look much from outside. Number one, it has a lift in the building, though there are maybe 6 or 7 stairs to the entrance.
The room was sufficient for my needs with an even temperature. The shower is large and the toilet has an anti-drop lid.
I like the overalldesign it was very resting to the eyes. The bed was comfy and warm. It had a kettle and the water was replenished daily.
The buffet breakfast was a treat, I enjoyed the options. I observed the staff, they are attentive, deligent and very clean. I was very impressed by the care they took.
The area is very convenient but some people may find it a little rough around the edges. It is so well connected transport wise, and your food options are so so good.

Such un amazing and comfortable place… Nice breakfast, great location from where you are in the perfect spot to visit all the city attractions, lovely staff and very clean rooms

I was very pleased with the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the staff. I will come again. We were very comfortable with my family. The breakfast was really good.

The location is good and the transportation is very convenient. The subway, bus and airport bus are just a few steps away.
