Asia Beach Resort & Spa Hotel in Alanya

Hello, first of all, the hotel service and food are excellent. Finally, the indoor pool is very cold and not very hot. The walls of the indoor pool are rusted and the ceiling is broken. It's not a very safe area. The automatic entrance door to the indoor pool is broken, and we have to open it manually. It's a complete disgrace, and the indoor pool lounge chairs are old, broken, and rusty.

I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1, because some of the staff is nice (especially the kids club Emina and guest relations Marina, animation guy) and some of the waiting staff, but others are rude, make faces about the customers, laugh and whistle you over, etc.
Also, to give a fair review: several parts of the hotel do look nice, rooms are fine even if needing small repairs and updates - but in general the hotel is run down and not up to standard. See photos and videos. Mad amountd of rust, lime scale, flakey paint, dirt on walls, things hanging lose, parts missing.
In my opion and experience this is overall a 3 or maybe in some few areas a 4 star hotel.

Indoor pool closed after 1 day for repairs for the rest of the week, steam room closed, salt room closed, spa pool closed.
(Edit, they sped up the repairs and the pool was re-opened after 2 days. Thank you 🙏).

No evening shows, accept on a Monday.

Food is uninspired and poorly presented. Plastic bowls, plastic spoons, and no finesse associated with 5 or even 4 stars.
Not an issue with us, but cats are walking around the restaurant. Only ONE buffet restaurant included in the "Ultra all inclusive". No á la carte any of the days.
Bread is at least 1 day old (I saw them out it out the day before), often in plastic. Hamburgers at beach out in the heat hours before lunch opens.

When we checked in there were only three beds (one double and one single) even though we had a reservation for 4 pax. An extra bed was eventually bought up, but this was late and we arrived with young children...

Lastly the hotel is right next to busy roads, so noisy and poor atmosphere. This we did however see in the photos before arriving. But good to highlight if you're looking for a relaxing time at the pool.

Ive eorked many years in some 3 and 3 star hotels, but mainly 5 star establishments.

Me and my family stayed at Asia for 7nights, booked through booking, and unfortunately, our experience was overall disappointing and fell short of expectations in multiple areas. Unlike other resorts in Turkey (I visited the country 7 times), where staff makes all in their power to make the stay unforgettable and stress free, Asia hotel staff was far from being professional or simply helpful. Not to speak about dirty sand and broken equipment on the beach such as umbrellas.

To start with, I was given a room with one bed instead of two twins despite our initial reservation request. At the same time, a woman checking in 1h later received a 3 twin bed room while staying alone. My immediate request for a change was not accommodated right away, and I was asked to come back next day "to see what can be done".

The next day, after managerial approval, I was offered another room, but no assistance to move our belongings. As a result, I forgot a bottle of alcohol in the fridge, and came to the reception one hour later to claim it. However, it was not returned by the cleaning staff. I was sent to a guest relationship manager Marina, who wrote down the details and promised to follow up with me by the next day.

But as the time passed, I wasn't contacted. 24h later I came to the guest relations table myself, where I was informed that nothing was found in the room post check out, and that the hotel is not responsible for lost items. Except mine was stolen, not lost. Upon my request to talk to the manager, I was told that the hotel owner has better things to do than look for a bottle of rum. Which I completely agree with, but it sounded ridiculous as if Marina's direct boss is the hotel owner myself. It was unpleasant to think that "guest relations" manager wants nothing to do with the guests.

The next morning I came to see front desk manager, and luckily he was available at that time. While he appeared polite and attentive during the discussion, and even promised to follow up with me, offering a massage at the spa center if my bottle is not found. However, no follow up occurred neither the same day or the next day. I received no WhatsApp message, or a phone call, or a room call from anyone. By then, it was day 6 of my stay. I came to the reception myself after lunch and had to explain myself again, this time to Yusuf.

I was sent to guest relations manager table again, this time assisted by Camila. While she was polite and pleasant to deal with, aparently nothing could be done and I was explained that front desk manager never offered any sort of compensation and it was a pure misunderstanding. I was tired and frustrated and didn't want to deal with it further.

Long story short: this hotel requires significant improvement in communication, guest service and overall management. It is clear they are oriented at a one time guest. At present, I cannot recommend Asia Beach Resort, and I would encourage prospective guests to consider alternative accommodations until serious improvements are made. I believe the stolen bottle of alcohol is a great example of what can happen to your more valuable belongings. If you end up booking your stay, use locker at all times and do not bring any valuable clothes, assessories or bags. If you are absolutely sure you won't need to deal with any employee of Asia Beach Resort, you can still come here for food - legit the restaurant had great variety, although some items run out and are not replenished despite waiting for extended period.

However, my holidays are over, but many unpleasant memories remain with me.

Please avoid this hotel! Worst stay ever no air conditioning in corridors, lobby and restaurant very average food and they don't change the sweet section ..basically the same plate of baklava kept appearing every time which no one had it as it looks really old.
The hotel is filthy the toilet smells, the pools are dirty the rooms are dirty. No one does their job properly at this hotel. A big disappointment.
Definitely not a 5 star hotel!!

We stayed at Asia Beach and Spa Hotel in Alanya and it was a huge disappointment. This hotel is advertised as a 5-star luxury resort, but it is nowhere near that standard. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful right from check-in. The gym is only open from 9 am to 7 pm, has no air conditioning or even a fan, so working out is unbearable. Rooms are poorly soundproofed, and you can hear loud music and karaoke from the hotel next door until midnight. The rooms themselves are uncomfortable. Beds come with old, worn sheets and razor-thin single sheets even on double beds. Double rooms only provide two very flat pillows, and when you ask for more, you’re given lumpy, misshapen ones. The en-suite bathroom was very basic, with a broken flush and no proper amenities. Rooms were not properly cleaned—just the sheets folded. We had a spillage on the first day, and it was still there when we left on day five. The room was gritty and dusty, and clearly not being properly maintained. The toilets in all common areas were even worse: dirty, smelly, often without toilet paper, rarely cleaned, and with broken flushes. Food was another major letdown. The main restaurant only offered a buffet, with no labels to indicate whether dishes were meat, fish, or vegetarian, and no allergens listed. Staff spoke little or no English, and when we asked for help, one walked away and another simply said they didn’t know. When we enquired about the à la carte restaurant, we were told it only opens if at least 20 people book together. They also said they do not cater for vegetarians. The snack bar only served greasy fast food, with watermelon being the only vegetarian option. Bars had a very limited cocktail selection. The interiors were dated, with worn carpets, dusty skirting boards, and broken fittings. Even the curtain in our room came off when we tried to tie it back, and we had to fix it ourselves. The only saving grace was the spa treatments, but again, they don’t provide robes or slippers, so you need to bring your own. Overall, this is not a luxury hotel at all. Between the rude staff, poor food, dirty and uncleaned rooms, filthy common toilets, broken facilities, and noisy, uncomfortable nights, this was a complete letdown. Spend your money elsewhere if you want a proper holiday.
