Rich Melissa Hotel in Kemer

A week-long holiday at this hotel was a major disappointment for me and my family.
From the very beginning, we experienced issues in almost every area. First, we were placed in a completely different room than the one we had booked. The next day, we were moved to another room, which had a broken power socket and was extremely cramped – barely enough space for four people. The rooms were dirty, there was mold in the bathroom, and a terrible smell from the drains hit us as soon as we entered.
As for the dirty pillows (see photo), I won't even comment.

The staff was extremely unprofessional and even laughed at us during the rest of our stay. The fitness center had only six machines, including two treadmills, which were unusable due to frequent power outages every 5–10 minutes. The remaining equipment was poorly maintained, making it very easy to get injured.

The towels provided for use at the pool were smelly and often damp.
Housekeeping staff did not speak any English, making it very difficult to communicate. If we weren’t in the room, they didn’t replace our towels (even if left on the bathroom floor, as is common in hotels around the world) or refill our water.

The food was far below average. The so-called “barbecue show” consisted of processed foods that were barely edible. Mayonnaise with chopped hot dogs is not something I would consider a meal, and fries for breakfast is not my idea of a proper dish either.

The pool bar didn’t offer any standard cocktails such as Mojito, Sex on the Beach, Piña Colada, Tequila Sunrise, Blue Lagoon, Caipirinha, or Cosmopolitan.
When I asked what alcoholic cocktails they had, I was told: vodka with Sprite, vodka with juice, rum with cola, wine, and beer.

The bar staff, however, were the complete opposite of the reception staff – friendly and willing to help. Despite the limited drink selection, they prepared a fun cocktail for us, so thumbs up to them!

After returning home, we submitted a complaint to the hotel, and their response was that we were lying. They claimed we did not allow housekeeping into our room for four days, which is completely untrue – we immediately requested cleaning and the replacement of two of the four dirty towels upon arrival.

I am disappointed with this approach and will never return to this hotel again.
This is not my first stay in a 4-star hotel, but this one definitely does not deserve such a rating.

I recently stayed at [Rich Melissa], and it was hands down the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything went downhill.

The room was filthy, with stains on the bedding, a foul smell coming from the bathroom, and mold in the shower. The air conditioning barely worked, making the heat unbearable. To make matters worse, the staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful. When I reported the issues, they shrugged it off and told me to "deal with it."

The so-called "all-inclusive" buffet was a complete joke. Food was cold, tasteless, and clearly recycled from previous meals. The dining area was chaotic, dirty, and overcrowded. I also witnessed staff ignoring guests' complaints about hygiene, which was appalling.

The pool was no better—dirty water, broken tiles, and no lifeguard on duty despite young children swimming around. Noise levels were insane at night, with loud music and rowdy guests partying until the early hours.

To top it all off, I discovered hidden fees when checking out. They tried to charge me for services I never used, like minibar snacks and extra towels.

Save yourself the stress, money, and disappointment—avoid this place like the plague.
