Sunis Evren Beach Resort Hotel & Spa in Side

Good experience over all. It is a small hotel , for those who don't like the big busy resorts. BUT what it needs a.s.a.p is a renovation both in the reception area, which is dark, and in the rooms. You need to get rid of the brown wood and repaint everything in brighter colors. In the room the furniture is dated. The front door does not isolate properly and it's old. In the bathroom we didn't have ventilation, so imagine the steam after three people showering. The shower has only a glass and it does not close. The entertainement is aimed only at german tourists. Not a word in english. The guy resposible with shows speaks only german. They don' t even try, don' t even care. We understand that 99% of your guests are german, but the rest of us 1% feels offended and not invited. But there were also good things. The pool area is big and very beautiful, both for adults and kids. Animation in the pool is nice. The food is very good, you have three areas with food, which is great. The main restaurant, a terrace by the beach with great grills, and a terrace by the pool. The waiters are all friendly, smiley and hardworking. In the room the mini bar is completed daily with beer,water, juice. The cleaning ladies are great. The safe is free, the AC works fine and the balcony is spacious as well as the room. There is also a 24h bar in the main hall by the reception where they serve drinks all they long. That's why the reception area is very busy as people stay on the many couches or chairs to have a drink and chat. But it's noisy for those accomodated on the first floor as german tourists are very loud. There are also a few nice little shops inside the hotel. The beach is absolutely beautiful, fine sand, shallow water. You get free towels from the hotel. Very close to the hotel, just 5 min walk, there are plenty of shopping areas.

The hotel was always very clean and tidy in all areas.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms a good size. If I had one gripe it was that the air conditioning wasn't great and would often turn itself off on its own so I'd often wake up at night very hot. I never complained about it so can't comment on whether they could have resolved the problem.
The pool area was quite small and did feel a little cramped but we never had any trouble getting a sunbed, I'd usually go down around 7am.
The food was excellent, all day every day. I've been disappointed with food at most all inclusive hotels for the past few years but this place bucked the trend. The service in the main restaurant was also great. A few times we had to wait for a table but once one became available it was quickly cleared up and set for us.
I didn't see any night time entertainment so can't comment on that.
The hotel catered more for German or Dutch guests (I'm English), and I only saw one other English family but I never had as trouble communicating with the staff.
I was there with my 2 children and we had a great time. I always felt safe letting the kids go off on their own.

Great holiday and great resort. Staff were excellent. We were upgraded to a large room. Everything was spotlessly clean. Food was great, possibly could be kept warmer during sessions. Overall a super holiday Beach was just outside the hotel entrance. Nice sunbed area. Lots of shops close by and a short distance from Side

We have just returned from an amazing stay at the Sunis Evren Beach Hotel & Spa in Everenseki, Side. The hotel is one of the only hotels which we have stayed at in Turkey that accurately represents the official 5 Star Rating. TUI rate it as 4T Plus, we believe they should rate it as 5T. There are lots of bazaars, restaurants and shops a couple of minutes walk away. Again, it is a couple of minutes walk up to the main road to catch the number 3 dolmus into Kumkoy, Side and Side Old Town. Most establishments, including the dolmus advertise and tell you the price in euros, but will also accept sterling and lira. We arrived in the early hours of the morning, check in was quick and we were offered drinks and food and the drinks were brought over straight away. We were asked for a ‘Hotel Voucher’, all we had was the E-Ticket emailed by TUI so they photocopied this. The rooms are good with all of the amenities you would expect, plus tea & coffee and a free minibar which is restocked daily with 2 x Effes, 2 x water and 1 x 1L Coca-Cola, Fanta and Sprite. We had booked a standard twin room, but when we arrived and were shown to our room (3002), it was in fact a family room which had a twin bedroom, bathroom and a double bedroom. A plus was there was plenty of storage and coat hangers which many hotels lack. The rooms are cleaned daily and towels replaced when needed. You are given cards to get pool towels which can be exchanged daily. The only downside is the TV had no working English TV channels, this wasn’t a problem, it’s just nice having it on in the background when you are getting ready.The English channels were just a black screen. We did mention this to reception, but was not rectified. There are 4 bars one of which is 24/7. There is a wide selection of spirits, cocktails and Efes. All of which are good quality and are not watered down like in some hotels. They have a late night nightclub which was not open during our stay. There is also plenty of food to choose from 24/7. The main buffet restaurant opens for breakfast, lunch, dinner and nighttime snacks and had a wide selection of food including freshly prepared. You also have a choice of 4 a la carte restaurants (Turkish, fish, Italian or Mexican) which you can book 1 during a 7 night stay. You also have the snack bar by the pool which does ice cream and waffles in the afternoon, a bar doing freshly prepared pide and a snack bar on the beach with a wide selection. Downstairs there is also a patisserie serving a selection of cakes, drinks and ice cream. I cannot really comment on the sunbed situation as we did not sit around the pool or on the beach, but towels were down on some quite early. The entertainment is good and varied and is usually either by the pool bar or in the amphitheater. The Retro Party night by the pool was good and the night it was raining, everything was moved inside into the lobby bar. I like this hotel .The food was good .The room was nice and clean.the beach was super .And the animation team was kind ,I played lot of games with them especially Ahmet who was super chill and kind . Love you all .

Spent 8 nights here in December 2023. Strongly recommended - friendly & helpful staff, clean, superb cuisine (buffet) and comfortable. Really enjoyed it here and was able to relax. Staff works really hard to make every effort.

This hotel was perfect in every way for us to have a much needed relaxing holiday. Drinks upon arrival, bit of confusion when checking in due to language barrier but easily resolved. Had 2 bed family room, very spacious, LOADS of wardrobe space, free safe, minibar in both rooms, fab air conditioning, only downside was balcony was small but it was too humid to sit out. Hotel is spotlessly clean throughout, the cleaning staff never stop and always happy and smiley. Also returning to our room after a day out it always smelt so clean and fresh, and this was on a daily basis. Food was fantastic, always hot and plentiful though we timed it right every evening, never ate the same thing twice as so much choice. Pool scene isn't for us so we went to beach every day and used beach bar for drinks and lunch, usually just eating the lovely fresh watermelon that was always out. Beach and sea is safe, also no need for beach shoes and can walk out relatively far before out of depth, lifeguards on beach too. We never came across any other English within the hotel as predominantly Eastern European, Turkish and Russian and if I'm honest, that gave the hotel a completely different ambience, much more relaxed, and were made to feel so very welcome. Every member of staff would interact with you, the waiting staff and bar staff knowing your drinks after day 2, no matter how little English was spoken, we would speak in the little Turkish we knew which is always welcomed. Location of hotel is great, we would do a walk each morning, turning right from hotel walking along paved area, looking at the numerous turtles on Turtle Bridge then walking up past vast hotels and from beach we would turn left and walk along to the inlet. Shopping centres not far either all trying to entice you in. Already looking to book next year.

Simply beyond praise. Everything is great and great. If there are any minor flaws, they are minor and not worth mentioning.

Perfect place. Traveling with kids is incredible. Pleasant sun, sand, sea, beach. Excellent staff. There is no steaming. Everything is very civilized. Overall a great place to stay. If you come here you won't regret it. The children liked everything very much. U.S. too. Good luck.
