The staff is very kind and helpful, the food is delicious and plentiful, there is good entertainment for children. Unfortunately, the room we've got as a family was too small and did not meet our expectations. The spa center and massage were excellent.

Stayed there a few months ago and some staff were great while others were ok with their service. The food was good and plentiful but very much the same catering for more European needs. It would be nice to have more Asian type meals. We were given a great room where everything works. I would recommend this hotel for the price and location.

The stay sas amazing! Hotel staff was friendly, but for me, they spoke little english. They are better in german, which unfortunetaly i do not speak.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the services of this 4-star hotel. The food was varied, the apartment was spacious enough and cleaned regularly. The hotel and beach staff were helpful and accommodating — we would especially like to highlight Hasan at the reception and Fatima from the restaurant. As minor downsides, we found the entertainment programs to be quite loud (though most were very interesting), and we missed having designated non-smoking seating (tables) around the pool. Overall, we had a very nice and relaxing holiday at MERVE SUN HOTEL & SPA. Thank you.

I read quite a few bad reviews, was quite worried due to them all but when we arrived there was not 1 bad thing about any of it!

To start off the receptionist was lovely! We didn’t get his name but he seemed to have been there every night/early morning he was so so welcoming and respectful!! He took our suitcases to our rooms, made sure we liked the rooms and then left straight after, he never refused to ask if we needed anything and always said hello & asked how are are when walking by the main desk!

Secondly the bartender Orhan was also lovely, he always offered us drinks, it got to the point we didn’t need to say a word and he would still bring us a drink over, he’s so funny and always had a laugh with us, he’s only there on a night time as far as I know.

Thirdly the food was delicious, quite repetitive but it was enjoyable, there wasn’t much British food either, the desserts were lovely also, the chefs and other staff in the restaurant were also nice, they always served with a smile. The soups were always different and also really really nice!

Lastly the pool, play park, Entertainment & Shops.

Pool: The pool was lovely! Not one bit of dirt around or in it, the indoor pool is only open during winter though which is understandable. The kids loved the slides and even myself and a couple other adults enjoyed them, they were switched on and off at certain times before and after food.

Play Park: The kids loved the play park, there was nothing wrong with it, it was perfect for the little ones, it has 2 swings, 2 slides, 1 big sea saw and 2 separate ones which again the kids loved.

Entertainment: The Entertainment was great especially for the kids, the guy who runs the entertainment was okay he was a little bit rude but he was great when it came to the kids entertainment.

Shops: The shops below and around the hotel were good, they didn’t shout at you much or bother you, they had some good things in them and not far of a walk either. A little bit further down the street is a supermarket which is great prices especially if you’re wanting to take some things back with you to your room.

good 4 star hotel. Pros: affordable price, food and nice beach with sunbeds included into the price. Cons: awful coffee, most of the staff don't speak English, no animations fo children, loud music till the late evening. Can recommend for families, if kids are in pre-school or school age.

Everything was great at the hotel. The manager at the reception, Hasan, will help u with everything and make sure you have the best holiday! All the staff was very very friendly and nice! The animation team , Hasan and Eda is an awesome touch to the hotel’s program so u can spent an amazing evening at the hotel. Every night it’s a different event! The food , drinks, snacks at the restaurant and the beach was great too! I 100% recommend!! Looking forward to book again!

We stayed at Merve for a week and had a very good stay, given the costs. Clean place, kinda quiet (depending on which side of the building you get your room), very nice staff. We had an all-inclusive stay, which included four meals and an afternoon snack/day, drinks (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic), sauna and pool. Obs: The pool was not warmed. The hotel has thematic evenings (karaoke, dance etc), if one is interested. One can rent a car or ATV from the hotel and travel around. The hotel has also a photographer who can be booked for taking nice photos. The downside of the stay was the food, which was often tasteless and contained low-quality ingredients. The good side though is that there's quite a big variation of dishes, so in the end you can find those dishes that you like. Lots of vegetarian options too.

Don’t listen too all these bad reviews, this was my first time going to turkey and I could not have asked for a better place to have gone too from the rooms to the staff everything was spot on from start to finish.

Reading these reviews made everyone dread going, however when we got there we were treated with nothing but respect from all the staff.

The only problem I can see with the place was the German entertainer every day was the same music on repeat towards the end got rather boring. There were a couple of mornings where he waved to everybody and then when he got to us put his head into his phone and completely ignored us. However the night entertainment was amazing he was able to get all the kids dancing and singing even though the songs were in German.

The food there was absolutely amazing with fresh food everyday and if there is anything that you need the chefs are always there to help and really approachable, make sure you go get the soup it is always fresh and homemade.

If there is one thing that you go for it is for the fun that is to be had during the night especially the bartender Orhan he was amazing with everybody never let your drink go dry he absolutely made our week with constant laughs and torments he was one of the most genuine and down to earth people I’ve ever met.

Please do not listen to these bad reviews and enjoy yourself and go to this hotel you will see for yourself.
