So the hotel is ok but could be better. We booked as a family of 5. One room had AC and the other room didn't. Unfortunately the 5th person had to sleep on the sofa, not a sofa bed or anything just a sofa which had a sheet and pillow on it. The shower would run boiling, hot and cold but it was ok. The room had a kettle, 3 cups, 3 glasses and 3 towels yet they knew it was for a family of 5. There was no tea/coffee or sugar that was with it. Seemed strange. Also we fell a bit unlucky as our room was located above a restaurant and you could hear music and the movement of chairs when they were shutting. Also there was other restaurants on the street to which one had karaoke on late in the evening (midnight).
The food was ok but was pretty much the same every day, breakfast, dinner and tea. None of the food was labelled so you just had to try it to see if you liked it. All the puddings/desserts where pretty much all the same as they were soaked in a syrup (not sure if this is a Turkish way)There were two hot drinks machines inside the restaurant but the juice/water was outside which was frustrating and only one of them. The big no no for me was the stray cats roaming through the restaurant and obviously people would feed them. I found this quite unhygienic. The pools where fine but if you're being picky about them then it would be that it is the same depth throughout the 2 pools (140cm) so if your kid is an age between a toddler and 10 years old then they would have to be a decent swimmer. The entertainment was very poor on the evening, either bingo, belly dancing or kids club. We did find that the hotel still tried to make more money of the guests. Obviously there was a point that some alcohol maybe chargeable as it is imported which is fine. However every cocktail had a price. This also was the same for milkshakes€3, popcorn €3, candy floss €3 and even fresh orange juice (€2 per glass) in the morning for breakfast.

The good points-

The staff were very friendly and the 3 main entertainers did a great job with the guests. A mention to Orkan who had a great attitude. There was darts competition twice a day, water polo in the afternoon, foam party on Wednesday to which was good fun, aqua aerobics in the morning and also a kids club (my kids are too old for it so can't say how good it was).
The onsite Turkish bath was also very good and well priced. The onsite shop was expensive (obviously). What was onsite also which was unusual was a tattoo/piercing studio and a hair and beauty salon. The hotel provided a free shuttle service to the beach and back to the hotel. The beach is rammed full of sunbeds by the way.
Is this a great hotel? No but each to their own. Would I go back to this hotel and Side? No also. I don't think I have gotten the best deal for £4,500 for 10 nights. Maybe we got unlucky as a family as I read plenty of reviews for this hotel and thought it would be good. My kids enjoyed it which is what is important but this hotel is more of a 2 star.
