Unlock Waters Edge in Dubai

One of the worst short-term rental experiences I’ve ever had.
I stayed at “Unlock Waters Edge” in Dubai, and it was completely different from what’s shown online.

The apartment was dirty, old, and unhealthy.
It honestly felt like I was staying in a neglected storage unit, not a proper home.

🔹 The kitchenware was greasy, rusted, and unusable — I didn’t even feel safe eating or drinking there.
🔹 The bathroom smelled terrible, with mold and rust everywhere.
🔹 The sofa and cushions were heavily used and unhygienic.
🔹 Dust, insects, and unpleasant odors filled the space.
🔹 I developed skin allergies and couldn’t sleep properly because of how unclean everything was.
🔹 Even the bed sheets were stained and disgusting — when I asked for clean ones, they gave me a “new” set that was dark-colored, obviously overused, and just as gross.
🔹 And the iron looked like it was from the Stone Age — completely outdated and barely working.
🔹 The ironing board was also dirty and old, not something you’d expect in a modern rental.

When I raised all these concerns, the management acted carelessly and dismissively, offering weak “solutions” like shampooing the sofa or showing me another apartment that was just as bad — old, missing basic items, and still not livable.

I wasted my time, energy, and money — and my short stay in Dubai was completely ruined because of this place.

This listing is extremely misleading and should be removed from rental platforms.
I have full photo and video proof, and I will not stay silent about the truth.

Do NOT rent this apartment. It’s not worth your health, your comfort, or your peace of mind.

After check in, I wanted to talk to them. But they haven't sent my email address. So I couldn't talk to them

I booked burj Khalifa view apartmentsbut they gave me different apartment,, they refused to to give me that one i selected. check in was very late , we were waiting more the 3:30pm and many people where waiting at same time,. They give parking but I found the parking taken by different person and they didn't do anything. I raised the complain to them but unfortunately they didn't do anything

If you want views of the Burj and are not fussy about staying in sanitry conditions, this is the place for you!! In order to provide a review on this property... i have copied and pasted the list of complaints i made to the host. What I didn't mention was the cockroach infestation, which we only discovered at the very end of our stay. On the first day I pointed out that the sofa was filthy dirty and broken, with cigarette burns. The sofa bed was not made up and my child had to sleep elsewhere. The carpet in the bedroom is filthy. The air con does not work properly And the shower head does not stay up. The room smells like cigarette smoke And I am very unhappy. I asked to be moved to a clean apartment, and no one came back to me!!!!

Late check in, apartment is not clean, no necessities are required and bad smell in the bathroom

Accomodation nothing as described.Pool has been under maintenance for the last 3 months that no one made us aware off.On the night of check in they clearly stated pool operating times as normal.Took a whole day for someone to contact us and promised us we could use the pool at the building across that we thought was corporation but we were declined access.Once again they do not respond to calls or messages.No cleaning of the room included, message them to deliver clean towels have to wait hours for it.Same cold breakfast option everyday and they do not provide milk for the coffee.Not even a message or call since arrival to ask if everything is ok.Worse accomodation we experienced ever.Description when booked does not match anything besides the view from the balcony.
