Rhodes Hotel in London

Dated, and didn’t expect to check in at reception, then have to walk round the corner to another street to get into the room. Also don’t believe it was sufficiently clear that it would be a shared bathroom room.

The location is great, near the terminal station Paddington, with restaurants and a supermarket inside the station. It's an old apartment type, so there are only stairs and the interior is classic. It's okay if you think of it as an experience of old British living. However, the bathtub has a jacuzzi! I thought it was a jacuzzi, but the plug was loose and the water only reached up to about waist level. The sink was small and the cupboard above was covering it, so I couldn't wash my face. The worst part was that when I checked in, I was told that room keeping was for the second day, and I went out at 7am that day, but when I wanted to take a break and returned at 4pm, it was still as it was when I left. When I asked the front desk, they told me to wait 10 minutes.
The dirty sheets on the bed were still there. Maybe the towels hadn't been changed either. Actually, when I checked in, there was hair on the sheets, so I wondered if they had changed them? I can't help it if the facilities are old, but I can't forgive the cleanliness. I hope they improve it for future customers!
