Reviews
Despite having paid for the room in full online, I was required to put down a £100 deposit at check-in.
The suite was a pleasant surprise for both my partner and me. It was fairly spacious and included a wardrobe, a makeup desk, a TV area with a sofa and two chairs, and an extra-large double bed. The bathroom layout felt a bit strange, as there wasn’t much counter space. The shower design was also confusing—regardless of which shower head we used, a significant amount of water splashed out, leaving the bathroom quite drenched on multiple occasions. While I could appreciate the overall design of the room, it felt a little odd, and I think the curtains contributed to that feeling.
The AC unit was quite disappointing. Even on the coolest setting (18°C) with the fan on maximum, there was barely any airflow and the room didn’t feel cooler. We tried various settings and even contacted the front desk, but were told that this was the highest setting possible. Since we were only staying for three nights and were out most of the time, we didn’t pursue it further after that initial call.
We did make use of the minibar, and the snacks and drinks were fantastic—perfect for a late-night movie session. We did some basic cleaning of the utensils before using them, as most travellers would, but they appeared to be quite clean.
The location of the hotel is absolutely fantastic and is arguably its biggest selling point. It’s extremely convenient for accessing train stations and the underground, which we made great use of throughout our stay.
Overall, the staff were excellent. While the rooms had some odd design choices and the AC was poor, they were still relatively comfortable. We were given a complimentary glass of prosecco, which was a nice touch. The partner restaurant, Spagnoletti, was good but felt a bit overpriced for what it offered. The WiFi was fast, which was a plus.
Considering the location, the price was very reasonable. The hotel felt more like a mid-range 4-star property. Points were taken off for the room, bathroom design, and restaurant, but the location and staff made the stay worthwhile.
Despite the disappointments, I would still recommend this hotel due to its excellent location, while the rooms remain acceptably comfortable overall.
the road from St Pancras. We would 100% tell anyone to stay here. Thank you to the Megaro team - you were fab!
All off them were very nice with my daughter as well.
Our room 502, the Junior Suite, amazing with a magic views.
The location, better impossible.
What truly stood out was the staff—professional, kind, and genuinely helpful. Every interaction felt welcoming, and they went out of their way to make my stay smooth and enjoyable. The overall atmosphere is modern yet warm, with great attention to detail throughout the property.
I would not hesitate to stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London ❤️
The restaurant was also very well decorated and we ordered sharers. Everything was great and they were the best potato croquettes we’ve ever had- says a lot being in the UK. The service was also excellent. The downstairs hotel bar was also beautifully decorated with excellent cocktails.
Finally, it is across the street from Kings Cross so it is an excellent place to base for enjoying the city. We visit London often and this will now be a regular choice.

Rooms, especially the bigger ones, are likely among the best available at this price range which is around middle to upper limit but competitive to the surrounding hotels (it's London after all). Comfy bed, great shower and we had an awesome view of the busy King's Cross station.
Very hearty breakfast, slightly overpriced and a tad too hefty even for English standards. The attached restaurant served fairly authentic Italian cuisine, we thoroughly enjoyed our quick snack there.
Staff is very friendly and tries to make your stay as pleasant as it can get. Two minor gripes: their elevator was either broke or occupied with service personnel, we had to take the stairs a couple of times or wait for ages which was a bit of a nuisance. And they, for some bizarre reason, don't have an outlet in the shower for the blowdrier.
All in all, highly recommended.
Had sent this to your website but got no reply and it's been a month. Just hoping to get some explanation or apologies. Won't come back again and really disappointed.

❤️ Lively corner pub on York Way just around the corner from Kings Cross station. There are bars on two floors and a easy accessible roof terrace illuminated by fairy lights. I popped in on a Friday evening and the atmosphere was upbeat and there was a good buzz about the place. The pub puts on DJ and Jazz nights and there was a fantastic Jazz quartet on that night and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There’s something for everyone at The Fellow
