Shocking, from beginning to end. Never again and would advise to book anywhere else except here. Itching, bites, peeling ceilings, walls and window surrounds, the lumpiest pillows you wouldn’t even give a dog to sleep on and so many other issues. It was such an unpleasant experience. The council houses people here which was a surprise I would have preferred to avoid but a good example of what you’re walking into. The council is most definitely keeping this place operating as it is a mystery how they’re still running considering the appalling state of the rooms and the constant issues with each room and being moved each time was pointless. A refund and cancellation would have been best. Not a four star hotel by any means, not even a two star. Good luck if you choose to ignore their universal low rating like I did because the location is so good. It’s not worth it.

Nice location, under 1 min away from High Street Kensington station . The reception and lobby outstanding . Room outdated , furniture and bed, pillows very basic, dated. Air con very old, noisy and not efficient . For that I will not come back but personal taste.

Such a beautiful old world hotel. Fabulous reception, everything you could need. Big rooms well
Laid out and feels like a much more expensive hotel. Ideal location a few mins walk from station but tucked in a side street so no street noise. Super comfy beds. Love staying here - feels like a treat!

The location of this hotel is acceptable, but the service is extremely poor. I opted for and paid for the breakfast when booking the hotel, yet the front desk staff told me I had to pay extra for it again during check-in. Only after I showed them my booking confirmation did they give me the breakfast vouchers. Then, on the morning of the second day, the service staff directed me to the bar counter; there were clearly available table seats, but they just brushed me off perfunctorily.
The hotel environment is also mediocre, and the service staff are quite discriminatory. They are extremely enthusiastic toward white guests but indifferent to people of other ethnicities. What’s more, I had a complimentary drink voucher that was valid from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. I arrived at exactly 7 p.m. and waited there, only to be told that it was two minutes past the deadline and the voucher could no longer be honored. Such an attitude is disappointing.

The room is relatively big, but we cannot open the window and luggage storage needs money.

Was delighted with the room. Basic but adequate, clean, comfortable beds, had a good night's sleep, check out wS easy, just put key cards in a box.

Extremely slow service.
6 people working in the delivery section and there wasn't even that many of customers.
The staffs just stood there waiting for the manager to check every order, and then they spent 5 mins to discuss what should be inside and what not.

Absolutely horrible.
In understand it's a busy place but staff in the kitchen don't know what they doing. Very disorganized, looks like there no management in there. You have to wait almost 10 minutes for your order. Service very poor and slow.

Waiting 10 mins r fast food!
Main seating area closed at 9pm so customers are all standing around on ground floor where there is very limited seats. Standard of cleanliness is diappointingly low, particularly seating areas on ground floor.

Tables aren’t cleared and the staff complain at you when you ask them to clear the tables and tell you to eat outside! Last night the security and cleaners got into an argument about who should clear our table. Just help each other out. Embarrassing.

Horrendous redesign and slow service. Good bose speakers gone replaced with smaller ones. Toilets are clean but smaller than before

Dined here in August. What a real disappointment!
Arrived at 9:15 to be greeted with "the kitchen closes in 40 minutes". So I asked if they had a table or not? Yes was the reply. Another table of three arrived and were told the same, they dined too. Another table of five arrived were obviously told he same and decided to dine elsewhere.
The food was nothing special and while we were eating our main course all desserts were cleared away and coffee machine cleaned!
When we completed our main course we were asked if we would like another alcoholic drink, we declined and were immediately presented the bill. Hence to say the waiter was not happy when I stated I would not be paying the service charge and didn't leave a tip.
It was such a disappointing meal and experience.

Warm beer, again and at 6.95 it should be super cold or at least an offer to replace with smaller bottle / another choice etc! Food and service ok but not as good as other branches.
