The hotel room I would rate a 4/5, the room was spacious, comfy bed, good view, decent size bathroom, clean. The service was not so great. I stayed for two nights. On the second full day there was a power outage from the moment I woke up and not sure how long it went on for but definitely a minimum of 4 hours. Hard to get hold of anyone and had to look up hotel number from online. People were stressing in the corridors and as there isn’t hotel staff, no one on hand to support queries. The room didn’t have a hair dryer. I had to contact guest services to ask if the room should have one, and it was supposed to. They said it would be a 12 hour turnaround service to provide me with one, which I said was unacceptable, and in fairness they then did get one to me promptly. As other had mentioned, there’s no reception to check on etc. You have a login code to get into the hotel and your room. There is the option to use a key via the app, however mine didn’t work, and trying to key in an 8 digit code is a massive pain.

I was moved to this Sonder due to overbooking at the Sonder Paddington. This hotel was nicely situated and the facilities were good. A very quiet hotel The desk staff were pleasant and helpful, special mention to Tariq There was a slight issue with my bathroom sink but only being there for one night it wasn’t a problem. Tariq did his best to sort whilst I was out. Breakfast was basic but good, pastries, toast, fruit etc. the fresh orange juice was excellent. Not sure of the cost as my company sorted this but think it was around £250. I assume this is normal for this area but expensive to my poor country boy mind!! Would definitely stay again.

• Normally we are not the type of guests to complain or leave negative reviews, but after our stay at Chelsea Green Hotel we feel it is important to share our experience. • On arrival, the AC did not work. By the second night it was clear it was broken. After contacting reception, it took over an hour (until 10 PM) to be moved to another room, with no updates during that time. • The second room had almost no water pressure in the shower. • The provided hair dryer sparked and “exploded” when plugged in. The replacement received the next morning was also broken (photo attached). • On the last evening, the fire alarm went off at 11:30 PM. Staff were visibly stressed and unable to provide clear information. The alarm restarted every few minutes, leaving guests unsure if it was safe to return or if the fire department had been called. • On departure morning, the coffee machine was out of service • After raising concerns post-stay, the hotel only offered partial compensation in the form of credits for a future stay — something we will not be using. This refund policy feels dismissive.

We we’re rebooked from another hotel in the hotel chain, because we we’re placed in the basement with bars outside the window og next to the kitchen. Not at all living up to the photos online! The Chelsea Green hotel get’s one point for the neighbourhood and one point for the style and lounge area (although a bit tired). The lack of service is however not compatible with a hotel. No cleaning or change of towels is included in the price, and we had to change bed linen ourselves during the stay. We were informed that this was not included in the booking, but we we’re not informed on this upon reservation. It only appears on the hotel website. Furthermore the breakfast is rather limited.

Horrible experience. Cannot recommend!!! Cannot recommend!!! Cannot recommend !!! Air condition didn’t work. No service at all.Breakfast finish at 10:30 but on a Sunday at 9:45 there’s no more bread no more pastries. The double bed is very small for two people. Cannot recommend the Sonder at all .. and I stayed in the Gilbert hotel by Sonder before same scenario.

Very unfortunate hotel. Facilities are less than basic for the price, you are paying for location only. Poor room design - style over function. Had a bathroom door with a large glass panel, pretty much directly on front of the bed - not pleasant if sharing a room with another person. Taller/higher than average toilet, very inaccessible for guests. Poor quality breakfast - bread, cheese, fruit bowl, yogurt pots, pastries - fresh orange juice was nice though. No room tidy service - have to take your own bins out. No fresh towels unless you ask for them. QR code for the app wouldnt scan. Plugs on top of the actual side tables in the room is a bad design decision - when plugging in or using appliances, chargers will generally knock everything on the table over if you have items on the side tables. No mini fridge. Kettle in room only occasionally worked after flipping switch several times. Floating bed frame style meant it was very easy to constantly bang your legs on the wooden frame. Staff were pleasant and helpful, but seemed unhappy, I don't blame them. Will not be back or recommend this hotel to anyone. Please consider implementing practical design updates for guest comfort and accessibility and please get a new keypad for the main door code - the numbers have rubbed off and are very hard to read - another accessibility issue.

Interesting experience. You have to use app to enter the hotel and your room. Hotel is basic but in a good location and overall good value for money. Rooms are very small particularly bathrooms. Nice towels and comfortable beds. Complimentary tea and coffee in rooms. Continental breakfast very basic but adequate and good coffee.

The location of this hotel is quite good. It is surrounded by residential buildings and is very quiet and safe. It's not far from the south Kensington subway station, only a ten-minute walk. In addition, shampoo, tissues, capsules, coffee and other supplies are managed in a self-service style, which is very convenient. The inconvenient thing is that you have to pay for cleaning, which is 25 pounds a time. And although breakfast is provided, it is basically the same every day. The bread, jam and coffee series are basically standard. Although the bread is not freshly baked, it still tastes good. I stayed for four days during the trip and felt like I was out most of the day. I only came back to take a shower and sleep. In fact, it was quite comfortable. I stayed in Room 101. The water in the shower was smooth, but the water in the wash basin was blocked.

This is a hotel with simple design and service. There is no waiter in the lobby, there is a password lock, and you need to register online to check in. Even when you arrive in the lobby, you need to sit down and check in with your mobile phone.
The hotel's location is good, 100 meters from Chelsea Garden, and there are several restaurants nearby. Coffee….0 It’s not too far from some of the more authentic shopping areas, but it’s not particularly close either. In this area, there are relatively well-established locals, so I was quite surprised by the simple version of the hotel!
The room size is OK, but more like a hotel suitable for young students. Breakfast is OK, and there is a small outdoor area available!
If you want to have chic in the old part of London, this location is good, but the hotel doesn't have it.
The price has also become a bit more expensive. Why not check out the hotels in the Sloane Square area.

The staff at Chelsea Green were exceptional, always willing to help out and made the effort to build rapport with all of their guests! the room was much bigger than I expected and everything was clean, in good working order and very comfortable. the beds were also extremely comfy, making it hard to get up in time for the complimentary breakfast! the location was brilliant, a quick 5 minute walk to the tube station. would highly recommend this hotel!
