Charges a non-refundable booking fee of 35 GBP not mentioned anywhere, their own website blocks traffic from the EU.
The hotel is trying to say that this is mentioned at the sites, but to this day (January 2026) there is no mention of a fee on Hotels.com). Even if you pay extra to have it be refundable, they will take this cost.

Staff were nice, offered to help us carry luggage all four flights of stairs. The temperatures was either unbearable low or too warm, and never settled. Linens and towels very worn, holes and stains. Dirty furniture, spots of black mold on several places in the shower. You could hear most of what happened in the other rooms. Wifi was almost unusable at times with how slow it was. Great location, budget alternative but keep in mind of how budget you want to go. No bed bugs november 2025.

We had a very pleasant stay at Abbey Hotel. The room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient. Everything was great, we would definitely stay again.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel was the young man at the reception desk that was extremely helpful and nice otherwise there’s nothing good to say about this place. The housekeeping was a joke as they would only remove your used towels and replace it with clean ones. The room was extremely dirty, no toilet paper, no clean sheets and for the price we paid it wasn’t worth it at all. Had we known about the condition of this place we wouldn’t have booked it at all.

Absolutely appalling experience with OYO. I had a 7-day pre-booking worth £547 which I was forced to cancel due to an unexpected visa delay—a situation completely outside my control.

Despite multiple requests, both personally and via Expedia, and even after clearly stating that I would rebook the stay for different dates, OYO showed zero compassion or flexibility. Not even a partial refund was considered.

This is not customer service; this is purely money-driven behaviour. Hiding behind rigid policies while ignoring genuine circumstances shows a complete lack of ethics and basic human decency.

If you’re booking with OYO, be warned: once they have your money, you’re on your own, regardless of how legitimate or unavoidable your situation is.

Plenty of hotels understand that real-life issues happen. OYO clearly does not. Would never recommend.

Staff were nice, offered to help us carry luggage all four flights of stairs and got us a portable radiator when the room temperature were very very low. Room temperature was very uneven, very cold for a couple of days (with the radiator at the highest setting), then too warm for a day, then just right for a day before it got way too cold again. Linens and towels very worn, holes and stains. Dirty room (floor was clean), dirty furniture, spots of black mold on several places in the shower. You could hear most of what happened in the other rooms. Great location, budget alternative but keep in mind of how budget you want to go. No bed bugs november 2025.

The room was in the roof space and was quite tatty. There was a loft space for private storage and the doors were broken. The bathroom was extremely tight.

The room was very small with few amenities. The bed was extremely hard. It felt like we were staying in a hostel. Was under the impression at the time of booking that breakfast was provided and was not. The key for the door was very difficult to use. The room was so hot we had to leave the windows open which let in the light and felt slightly unsafe and made sound travel. Could hear the shower running in the next room. It was a quick walk to the underground through an area that was slightly dodgy. We could get to any of the attractions in about 30 minutes. The upscale Westfield shopping centre was right across the street. The people at the front desk were kind and polite. It’s not a bad place to stay, just know what you’re getting!

The staff were friendly and welcoming when I arrived. I didn't see them again after that due to timings. The room was not as advertised. No separate seating area, not as large as stated on advert, a smaller TV (24 inch not 32). The bed was on wheels that had no way to lock them so every time I moved, the bed shifted. A plug directly next to the bed showed sign of burning or heat damage. The bathroom was reasonable and the shower was large, which was nice. However the extractor fan did not function and the movement sensor kept turning the lights off. The shower water was warm which was welcomed. A light fixture was hanging out of the ceiling and mold was growing on the window, likely because of no extractor. I doubt I will stay here ever again

Decent for access to tube and trains, shopping is great. No breakfast and a bit noisy for us.

The Wi-Fi was not as good as I'd like. I'm a stickler for good wi-fi.

Such slow service considering how many staff there were behind the counter, love the coffee but not worth it

A small costa however it does the job with quality coffee and outdoor seating.

Was charged two times for same order manager refunded without question or prolonging the situation unnecessarly unlike other stores now days.

The most horrible, badly made, watered down and burnt coffee that I have had in my life. For the price charged, you'd think it would at least have some taste. McDonald's coffee is probably better than whatever it is they're selling there. Lady behind the counter was nice and smiled though.

We visit GBK Westfield White City quite regularly.
Service is always top class. Good burgers and there is veggie options as well as the Panko chicken being halal.
Drinks are great too. Milkshakes are the best esp the Peanut Butter.
Friendly staff. Always happy to help.

It's ok. All perfectly fine but not exactly an event. Burgers themselves are good. Milkshakes are very good. But the pricing of the extras is high and turns the bill for a meal into something more akin to a proper sit down. And that, it is not.

The "go up and order/pay before" thing is pretty annoying. Kind of hilarious how trendy that place wants to be....overpriced and awkward at the same

This is my second time here in the last few months and I should have really learned my lesson from the first.

After having to press the ‘help’ button 3 times and waiting for 5 minutes to get someone’s attention, it’s now been 20 minutes waiting for the food.

Seeing as I came here to save time, that hasn’t really worked out. Will be leaving here now and just pay for what I’ve already had.

First experience was similar but hoped it was a one off. Second time will be my last.

Edit: The food eventually came as I was asking for the bill. The manager also took one of the late dishes off the bill which was a good gesture, but still not good enough to get me going back. Have added a second star for it though.

If I could give zero stars I would. First of all the selection was poor and the food tasted bad. Second they charge a fortune. Three people and we didn't eat much and the bill was 67 pounds. Third the next morning I have a really bad sore throat- don't know for sure if it was from Yo! Sushi but it definitely didn't seem completely sanitary. Some of the food going around on the conveyor belt was in open containers so someone could sneeze on your food, etc.
