My room was very quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable and provided a good night sleep. Waking hours were filled by walking to the shops and restaurants lining the street.

Staff is nice and the location is great, but the hotel itself is fake nice. Feels like paying for the landlord special at a premium price.

Nowhere to unpack your clothes ( no drawers or shelves), no hooks in the bathroom to put towels, no tv info, basically no help from anyone. The bed was comfortable, the room was super clean and the restaurant was really good but pricey. The whole experience was overpriced.

The room was spotless....very important to me. I really liked how quaint it was and the decor was lovely. The only thing missing was space to put away clothing. No dresser and the closet was very small. The employees were very nice and welcoming!

The room was super clean, the staff was amazing, the pool was great and I loved the Marco Polo restaurant- my server was awesome every time.

Liked the decor. It was unlike most hotels. Had a clean retro look, live plants in the rooms. Valet was super convenient but costs. I would stay again.

Our stay was amazing. The staff is kind and welcoming, the beds/pillows were comfortable. The room was spacious & clean. The only opportunity I'll mention is the bathroom door doesn't provide much privacy with the gap it creates when closed.

Staff were super helpful, funny and down to earth. (special shout out to the cool chick with brown bobbed hair sorry i didn’t get your name!)
Rooms were functional, very spacious and super tastefully decorated. The pool was lovely for a swim in morning (but got overcrowded during the day so go early)
Location was great and close to shops and a quick drive to points of interest.

Cool space. You enter down a set of stairs, but watch your head if you're tall as the crests will hit you. The courtyard is nice and feels secluded. Good vibe

Cool little place. Plenty of street parking in front. Good food! And the stranger things musical tribute (limited run) was awesome and so fun.

Food was cold and so was the soup, (traditional ) they should have told me ahead before I ordered. Every drink was so so flat. We tried every soft drink. Payed almost $400. For a party of 5. 3 adults 2minors.

The show is great, and the food is good. The service is a little slow and servers seemed a little overwhelmed. Still a fun night and I would recommend going at least once to see this LA classic.

The patio of El Cid is very inviting, there's a beautifully lit, mezzanine type area. Down outside, where the bar is, is also nice - heat lamps for when it's cold, tables, etc... However, I have never received worse service in my entire life. I stayed at the venue at least 4 hours and the wait time was at least 15 minutes for each drink for a bar that was less than one deep. Sadly, it was comical. The majority of the patrons rallied and agreed that the staff apparently had no idea what was going on whatsoever.
Come here for the great vibe, but expect to wait for a drink and potentially pay more because the staff accidentally added someone else's drink to your bill

You can't beat the ambience here. Most of the seating is in a very charming outdoor patio. The interiors consist of various rooms intertwined together. Nothing else in L.A. like it. Good wine and cocktail selection. They have a great lunch and dinner menu. Service is generally very good. It is expensive. I've heard a lot of people mention this wondering if the food was actually worth it. I don't know. But I always find myself going back. One of Silver Lake's classic establishments. Be prepared for charm and don't worry about the cost and you will enjoy it.

An LA staple. Great food, exclusive, artsy clientele great, friendly service, beautiful decor. You feel like you are eating in a picturesque grotto. Flavorful entrees with a great bar attached that attracts cool kids, musicians and artists. It's the exact type of place you'd expect to find the Intelligentsia crowd (which is located next door) in the evenings. I love this hotspot.

The customer service was vantastic and the menu easy to manipulate for picky eaters. As well they actually do have delicious vegetarian options, such as the Rancheros Burrito. There is also a condiments buffet that includes a savoury homemade house salsa and fresh cilantro, peppers, lemons, limes, and more. On the menu the calories are provided for those who are keeping track. Overall El Pollo Loco was a stupendous experience, all around excellent!

Great food, clean and flavorsome. Chicken is well cooked and fresh. Chicken soup is my favourite, it's great value, has a lot of chicken and veg in it! Great place for quick, good value meals. The sauce and condiments bar is well stocked.
