There is a balcony, which is nice.
The room was of a good size, clean, and comfortable. The service was also quite good. The only drawback was that there was no free parking. We parked our car on the roadside near the hotel.
Facilities: 90 points Sanitation: 80 points Environment: 80 points Service: 60 points
Service is good very kind :) i love it this place When i come later i want this
i like this hotels, because nice view
Arrived at the store after 6:00 p.m., and was told that there were no high-floor rooms. I booked a room with a city view, but I was given a room on the third floor. I couldn’t see anything. The cleanliness of the house is pretty good, and it’s a simple decoration. I don’t want the splendor of domestic hotels.

San Diego, 10950 North Torrey Pines Road (22 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The facilities are very old, and the infrastructure is almost as bad as that in the United States. The breakfast is a low-end white food. From check-in, you have to pick up your own luggage, check-out, and drive your own car to load your luggage. There is no service at all. It is not comparable to ordinary star-rated hotels in China. The price is very reasonable.
A resort hotel right next to a nice golf course. Even if it is a resort, charging the resort fee, it is more of business hotel with less and outdated facilities. Overall, old and boring but good enough for biz trip.
In town for a wedding and the hotel is very nice. The front desk staff are so helpful and at the end of our first night our bartender Nick was awesome. He was very efficient with the crowd! Overall great time!
Staff nice. Rooms /all of the HOTEL needs to be updated. FUNKY and not worth the $$. I had stayed there a couple of years ago and it wasn't great, I assumed it was the level of room that was available at the time. This time I had the best room...........which was still as funky! My room wasn't cleaned until the 2nd day. TOO bad the location and property value warrants a complete overhaul. Stay somewhere...
Joanne and Torrey welcomed me with smiling faces when I walked into the restaurant area of the hotel. They were very interactive and informative, suggesting great items off the menu. They have an inviting aura about them with all of the customers. They should be rewarded for their outstanding customer service
Business trip, close to the subway, convenient for travel. The price-performance ratio is good, the price is relatively affordable, and it is a great trip. Next time I am on a business trip nearby, I will book this hotel again.

This place was fun. Not the most modern, but a great deal and we'll be going back again for sure?
Beautiful grounds, views & location near the Bay and Ocean. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was great!
I was so worried about my reservation after reading more reviews as many complain about the age/deterioration of the hotel property. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. I think some people just don’t understand how hard being so close to the ocean and humidity can be on buildings. Of course the rooms could use a major facelift considering how expensive it is nightly. But it’s perfectly...
We asked for early check in and we’re not give. It. We actually did not get notified our room was ready until after 4pm
Nice amenities Wonderful coffee shop and waterfront restaurant Only gripe was the $45 nightly parking Kind staff and we arrived late for our one night and they allowed us to check out late the following day so we could enjoy the hotel amenities Great location with wonderful walking access along the bay and easy access to the beach and shops (across the street)
Well managed. Clean. Great staff and restaurant But the high point is the location Rooms 3star location 5 star

Great location , friendly services !
Excellent location, Excellent service. Within walking distance of everything you would need.
The room was wide and comfortable, and breakfast was excellent
The room was quiet with good soundproofing, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, the staff were very welcoming, and the overall experience was great. I will definitely choose this place again next time I come.
Had a wonderful three-day stay at the Gaslamp Marriott in San Diego! The location is perfect—just steps away from Petco Park and surrounded by downtown attractions. The hospitality was excellent, and it was a great escape from the heat of Arizona. Highly recommend this hotel for your next getaway!
Rooms are pretty clean but dated and have carpeting, just not my preference. Needs a renovation. Location is great. 2 of the 4 elevators were out for servicing.

The US Grant Hotel was perfect. The valet was super fast, the car was always waiting for us at the door. The staff and service was impeccable in every way. Every staff member we delt with was amazing. It was like we were the only people there. The food was very good. The location is in a great area with plenty of things to do for nightlife with in walking distance. 20 min to Sea World, 15 minutes to...
The main entrance to the hotel is actually at the back of the property. At the front of the hotel, you have to use your room card to enter. There’s no one standing at the front doors to greet you, open the door, or otherwise welcome you to property. The reception team was friendly and efficient. I recommend the complimentary tour to learn more about the history of the property. I stayed on a high...
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel, which is in a great location. We could do without some of the homelessness around the downtown area, but the hotel maintains its elegance in its close surroundings. The room and bathroom were both spacious. I would like to give a huge shout out to Robert (head of valet) and Jerry (head of security) for their utmost professionlism and courtesy during...
I would give 3.5 stars. As the general hotel star rating goes, this is more 4 than 5 stars. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was fine, but pillows were not great, and there were some holes in both bottom and top sheets. The toilet was loose and moved when sitting on it. We figured that the location of the hotel would be great for exploring the city a bit, but the direct vicinity of the hotel...
The customer service at the Grant was impeccable, more than one can ask for at what I consider to be an affordable price. I stayed in room 604 which is located right beside the elevator. 24 hours a day you hear the elevator going up & down. I would recommend avoiding room 604 for this reason. It's only a guess as to why I got this room, but I was there very early before their usual check-in time...
The room was short of slippers. I called and they were delivered right away. Very good service

The hotel offers a great overall atmosphere, with a private inner bay and easy access to the beach. The environment is lovely, and there are plenty of recreational facilities on the property. That said, the room was a bit small, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the air conditioning, which was disappointing for a hotel at this level.
Room is very clean and comfortable. The staff at check in were very nice and helpful
Check in process was great. Staff was kind and accommodating. Studio room was very nice with a beautiful view of the bay. The only downfall was we attempted to dine at Dockside and never was greeted by a server so we left after about 10 minutes. Menu was limited as well. Other than this dining experience we highly recommend staying here.
Awesome staff, Andre at the front desk was on top of his game. When he found out, it was our anniversary he provided a credit to be used on my dinner at the hotel. Our room was awesome overlooking the bay harbor. I definitely will return there for my next San Diego visit.
$$50 resort fee but nothing but a pool and hot tub. Not worth paying additional $110 for two night's!!!
Great, fun staff! Enjoyed the pool, bar, and Halloween cruise. Only negative was the smoke alarm low battery started alerting at 6:30AM. They came very quickly and changed it out. I got back to sleep within 15 mins.

Beautiful area and views. Walkable to dining and shopping. Rooms and beds were average. We had ants in our room which we didnt discover until following morning when we had bites, saw a few on the bed, but then found more in bathroom and then a lot in the fridge. They moved us into a different room but it was still inconvenient.
My, stay at the resort was wonderful. The bed was comfortable and I enjoyed the shower and tub. The restaurant downstairs was amazing. My only issue was that my balcony was overlooking a conference that was going on so there were several people sitting out there right underneath so it kind of disturbed my time out on my balcony, but the view from my balcony was good. Far better than the site describes! Superior to anywhere I’ve stayed ever before. We had a fantastic time and our every need was catered to.
Lovely stay Love love love this hotel. It is always a pleasure to stay there!
We spent 3 days here at this wonderful hotel. Amazing experience and we will be returning most definitely!
It is a tree-lined hotel, a very comfortable hotel. The hotel has a bit of history, and the facilities are a bit old, but the service is acceptable. It is very cold when receiving Chinese people.
It's a hotel from the last century. Apart from having air conditioning, it has nothing to do with modern life, and the service is crap. It's really okay, don't go
The Grand Del Mar is gorgeous. You literally feel like you have been transported to Italy. I did not want to leave. The rooms are spacious, the staff is so kind and fun and warm. I love the adult pool and the family pool. We also went to the Spa and that was a dream as well. I highly recommend booking a massage! I hope to stay there again soon! Room was adequate. The bed sunk in the middle and toilet tank cover in bad condition. Gym was nice but temperature I too hot.  Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good
The room was clean, the mattress and pillows were a bit soft.
Over all the stay was pleasant! Only the 30$ parking fee for one night seems a bit over priced. Most hotels I stayed previously were free parking for their customers.
It was a nice, quiet, clean place to stay. However, it's been two weeks since I returned from my trip, and my deposit has not been refunded yet. I asked for a receipt and they said they would send it to me by email, but I haven't received it either. I'm a little disappointed with their handling.

The hotel is very nice, nicer than I usually stay at. The room was clean and modern. The bed was really comfortable and I loved the light up make up mirror in the bathroom. The Topside Terrace is a very cool outdoor bar. Drinks were good and our server even got us a menu from the other restaurant that had items we enjoyed more. I appreciated that.
Excellent choice to stay of a downtown San Diego experience....walkable to Little Italy! Excellent service!
Staff are very friendly, hotel is super clean, room is comfy, location is very convenient. Would definitely stay again.
We truly appreciated the hotel’s aesthetics and the staff’s consideration and hospitality. Carlos at the bar and Jackie and Oscar at the front desk exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back.
Convenient & accessible to Little Italy
I enjoyed everything about my stay here last week. The location was convenient both to downtown, the airport, and N. San Diego. The room was very cool. And, the valet parking was very convenient (special shout-out to Alejandro who retrieved my vehicle in record time!!).

Clean, quiet, and full of history! The underground vault, dating back 100 years, is the hotel's highlight.
An excellent hotel with wonderful, friendly staff. The rooms are equipped with everything you need, and the beds are comfortable. The plumbing is new and high-quality. They serve delicious breakfasts in the morning and great cocktails in the evening. We are completely satisfied. Highly recommended!!
I stayed for seven nights in total, and the overall experience was decent. However, what was truly unbearable was the overwhelming smell from the bathroom—it smelled like sewage, and you could even smell it from the bed.
Great location in city centre. Downside is valet parking costs 65 dollars per night
Good customer service and very clean , I will definitely book again ,highly recommend it.
Convenient and beautiful hotel. It is located near a trolley station and bus stops. However, I found some trash left by previous users in the room. My request for an extra bed was initially forgotten, but after I asked again, it was promptly prepared.

There is basically no service, no breakfast, convenient parking, and no response when I emailed to ask for a receipt.
The hotel is generally ok. The room and bathroom are old, but the place is clean. It is a three-story building with an elevator. The free Wi-Fi is not very useful. Parking is USD20 per night, which is quite expensive.
Overall, it's quite good, considering it's a fairly large motel resort. The only complaint is the thin flooring; whenever someone walks past, the ground shakes. The cleaning truck rumbles like thunder. The soundproofing is poor, and you can hear everything you hear from the outside. If you plan to stay out later, be sure to put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, otherwise the cleaning staff will...

The location of the place was very accessible and convenient.
Very nice room, with microwave, refrigerator, bar, sofa can put a 1.5 bed very comfortable, can accommodate up to 6 people. Our family of 5 lived very happily. There is a CVS store about 300 meters downstairs and a 7-11 a little further. Girls should not go out alone at night, there are messy people on the street.
The location is good and the staff is friendly. The surrounding area is clean and quiet, so I highly recommend it.
The room is big, generally clean, the service is good and very welcoming. It is mainly white people staying here, and other guests are also very friendly. This is a hotel like an airbnb homestay. The room has everything, plates, bowls, cutlery, microwave, scrub daddy's dishwashing tools, detergent, dishwasher, coffee machine and Starbucks coffee, etc. It is very cost-effective.
The hotel is in a great location, within 15 minutes' drive of major attractions such as the aircraft carrier and Balboa Park, and there are good restaurants within walking distance. The room is large, it's a suite, like a serviced apartment, ; the staff are very warm and friendly. The only downside is that the parking lot is on the 11th floor, and it's a bit nervous to drive in circles. Overall, good...

Service in all areas of the hotel was excellent. Meals were beautifully presented. Room was elegant and gorgeous.
The staff are exceptionally friendly, and the housekeeping is meticulous. The hotel features European-style furnishings and offers a luxurious atmosphere.
The room was kinda old and the air didnt work but overalll it was fine and my son got to experience room service for the first time so that was a huge plus
This is the sort of place that was the definition of opulence 40 years ago, but the corporate leadership has not kept up with the times. The rooms and common areas are well kept for the most part, but the real deficit is the staff. Millennials and working seniors give this hotel the vibe of a local Best Western. The price for the stay isn't bad for what you get, but calling it a 4-star hotel is generous
The staff were amazing. Check in was fast and the room was clean. Room service was convenient - the restaurant was exception and I always enjoy my stay. Even having the convenience of charging my EV before I leave San Diego to head back to Los Angeles is always a service. Thank you Westgate Hotel!

Location is decent just on the edge of Little Italy, quite quiet and easy access to the harbourfront. Pool is small and completely surrounded by other buildings and the roof top was cold in the evening even in early September. Forgetting to clean the room one day was annoying. Lobby bar was ok early evening but is closed by 8 it seems. Bed had definitely seen better days. 4 stars is a stretch imho
I was charged twice so you might want to be careful.
Very good, but pay attention to whether there is a refund for the deposit. We later found that two extra city taxes were collected, but we contacted Ctrip staff and they handled it quickly! Still give it a good review!
Located in the city center, Hilton's standard is impeccable. There is a parking lot opposite the hotel, but you need to go around to park because it is a one-way road. It is not recommended to choose a package with breakfast, which is a cash deduction.
