Pros: excellent location. Little Italy is one block away. 7 mins walk to the sea. Clean. Well managed. No staff during off time but with the cleaelr instrctions they emailed you it's easy to find your way to everything: gate code, keys, wifi password, etc. Cons: It's right next to the high way. My room is at the corner with high way to the front and local to the left. Extremely noisy. If you are...
I chose this hotel for my wedding night and accidentally booked a room with a shared bathroom. The wonderful woman who checked us in switched our room and took such great care of us. So beware of what type of room you book as this is a restored house and not every room has its own bathroom.. We liked it so much that we decided to stay here every year for our anniversary. The house itself is old and...
The rooms are not clean, there was hair in my pillow and it was not my hair. The room smelled really bad and Parking is really hard you have to park to the road and it is really dangerous
The hotel is in little Italy so it's very close to some great bars and restaurants. The hotel looks nice, clean, and modern on the outside and inside. My room was with the king bed and spa tub. It looked clean although the building itself looks older. I'm pretty easy to please so I was okay with the room for the price. A roach did come out of the AC unit my first night but I killed it and that was...
The hotel was really cute and clean. A variety of rooms to choose from depending on your price point. We stayed in the spa king and the bathroom has a bit more wear than the rest of the room but overall, both were well kept. The free breakfast was a bit lacking but I try not to complain about free stuff so no big deal. All of the staff were very kind and attentive. The hotel is walking distance/short...
If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... We got a king room. The room was nice and everything was very clean. However when we arrived the room was hot/humid. The ac was very loud but did it's job. There is a nice breakfast area with fruit yogurt toast and muffins but no eggs or meat. There...

Layed back. Doesn't look too impressive but it's clean the people are great. The building will be closing soon along with the quality inn to provide housing for homeless veterans. I would refer this place if still avail
I have stayed here many times. Google could link these reviews together and it will tell the story of a small roomed, decent price for the area, helpful staff with a good complimentary breakfast. Nothing notable has come about, which is a good thing.
I have been staying there whenever I come to San Diego. Very quiet. Close to downtown. Close to Hospitals. Great Staff. Very accommodating. Clean Rooms. Helpful.
The reviews on here seem to be a bit unfair. Great service for the amount of money you have to dish out. There appears to be a partnership between this hotel and the Quality Inn next to it. The staff at Quality inn were very courteous. The front desk clerk, Darryl was helpful and eager to help. I paid $65 dollars on memorial day weekend, and for that kind of money, this place surpassed my expectations

Great staff great room. All and all a perfect 10
Great experience! Wonderful staff
We had a wonderful view of the beach although it was partially obstructed.
We have made a trip to the Del Beach Village a family tradition every summer and we simply love it. The facility, the location, the view and of course the people make it memorable every single time. We cannot imagine a summer without a trip to Beach Village. Special shoutout to Claire Gionnette who makes our experience extra special every year!
From the moment we arrived, Jay’s warm welcome was a hint of what was to come. We stayed in Beach Village which entitled us to breakfast every morning at the Ocean Club where Maria tended to our every need. The comfort of the room, the Spa, the views, easy access to the beach, and the restaurants made for a perfect vacation. We plan on returning some day.
After the long awaited renovations are complete, Beach Village was a dream. Our room featured a working fireplace, beautiful balcony with an ocean view and comfortable furniture. The room was very clean and new. The staff were nothing but attentive and helpful. Check-in and check out was a breeze. The Beach Village has it's own pool and hot tub that other guests cannot use. While the pool may...

Excellent experience at breakfast with Donna serving us. Iniego also helped me with coffee one day and refilled the milk another day, even though it was just at closing time. Very kind and helpful. Felipe was also a very kind cook. Sabrina was a very pleasant and a bright spot every morning during our stay. Wonderful person! Excellent service!
We had a wonderful stay at Embassy Suites San Diego Bay Downtown! The location is perfect and makes everything easy and convenient. The service was excellent, and Sabrina was especially helpful and kind. She truly made our stay even better. We will definitely be back!
CHECK YOUR FINAL RECEIPT- THE ONE THEY EMAIL YOU THE NEXT DAY We were charged for a restaurant fee after we had checked out and were actually back home. I get it, computers aren't perfect. The next guests checking in arrived early, went to the restaurant to wait and charged their bill to the room number. Even though we had received our *final* bill upon checking out, I was emailed another one the next...
Husband and I decided to visit San Diego last minute and after researching the downtown area decided the location of ES fit us perfectly. Short walk from the 992 bus stop to and from the airport. We booked through Expedia and selected a King Corner Suite. We had a wonderful view of the Harbor and will miss waking up to that in the am. Room was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the nightly reception...
We had a fabulous stay here at Embassy Suites. Our family with young kids loved the hotel layout with the glass elevators. Our suite was spacious enough and the sofa bed was actually comfortable. It was right across the street from Seaport Village where we found a great seafood...

Superb stay- all the staff were friendly and accommodating. In my opinion they went above and beyond the expectations for a budget priced hotel. I would thoroughly recommend!
Friendly staff, provided shuttle to and from airport and old town. Very clean room but the breakfasts had the same things everyday is a bit boring.
We stay at this facility every time we travel through San Diego. The staff is friendly and courteous. The facility is clean and easy to access. It is close to the airport so very convenient.
Everything was great. Room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Great location to everything. Old town, SeaWorld, airport.... All within 5 minutes.
This hotel is amazing for MCRD SD graduation needs. They were very welcoming and top notch service from the hotel, its shuttle drivers and making you feel welcome and they were just as proud of the new marines as the families. Highly recommend staying here. They took care of us and it was a lot of people and never once saw a fault.
The hotel is simple enough to travelers stop by and stay for 1 nite! Staff was nice welcomed!

Excellent, with a great atmosphere and fantastic views.
I stayed at level 6 which is one lever above level 5. Level is breakfast area. And you can hear the water pipe sound from the kitchen below
Location was nice, breakfast was simple but great to sustain for the day!
Good location and breakfast is very nice. In the morning, you can walk near bayfront.

Front desk, Christine ((sp?) is very sweet, caring, funny, relatable & professional. So glad she is part of the hotel team.
Great location for all of the events we had. Parking was valet only, but it worked for us. The room had a nice view and plenty of space. Would come back again!
Kind staff. My partner forgot his toothbrush and they gave him a free one with toothpaste.
Clean, spacious room, welcoming staff, nice thick towels and very comfortable bed and pillows!

Made my reservation 2 weeks ago for a king room. Go to check in and it got switched to 2 queen beds. Person at front desk was nice. Got free parking for the night. Primer Room is spacious and cozy with good nature light, have everything like kitchen much better than a Airbnb. Nice service is provided at front desk. Buffer breakfast is good. Location is convenient nearby airport and other tourist spots. Especially Ron from shuttle team helped us with the airport transport to the hotel. And he figured out everything for us including flight terminal. Thanks so much...
The hotel was clean and smelled amazing. The staff were so kind. My room was nice. I will definitely stay here again when I travel to San Diego again.
I have stayed here several times for multiple days and have been pleased every time. The rooms are well insulated and quiet. The area is safe, clean and walkable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I will certainly stay here again.
We stayed one night due to a canceled connecting flight. The hotel was chosen in large part because it advertised an airport shuttle service, however the shuttle was unable to pick us up from the airport nor shop us off. They apparently would serve their customers better if they had a bigger van. Also, breakfast doesn’t start until 6:30 which isn’t helpful for people with early flights.
Yes. Clean room. Great shower. Good breakfast. Temperature control a bit off and bed too mushy

Great location, quiet, right off the highway. It's really convenient for getting to UCSD and the shopping centers. Breakfast is included and has a good variety. The room has a pull-out sofa bed, and the kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook. You can park right in front of your room, but if you have a lot of luggage, I'd recommend staying on the first floor since the second floor requires climbing...
This hotel is a bit older, but the rooms have a small kitchenette, and there's a laundry room right by the main entrance. They offer breakfast every morning and even help with receiving packages, which is really convenient for longer stays. It's also very close to a small shopping center in La Jolla, making it easy to buy groceries and other essentials. The only downside is the expensive parking.
This hotel in La Jolla offers great value for money. The rooms are spacious and even come with a kitchen. The breakfast is also quite good. It's very close to UCSD, only about a 10-minute walk away. There's also a convenient shopping center nearby, also about a 10-minute walk, which has a supermarket, shops, and dining options.
Conveniently located near the UCSD branch campus, very easy to get around.
The room is clean, sanitary and comfortable, with simple kitchen utensils available. The breakfast variety is not large but nutritious enough. The staff is very friendly. There is also a barbecue and swimming pool, all very good. Five-star recommendation!

The staff was so nice and very helpful. I flew in from Huntsville Al , didn’t know anything about San Diego. The picked me up from the airport and held my bags in a safe place until my party arrived. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I felt like a seasoned traveler when I left
Great place to stay near the airport! Although not 100% soundproof, I really only heard 2 planes max during my 3 night stay. Free breakfast was a plus, parking was never full and having a 24/7 fitness center was definitely a plus!
lost some items and left my iphone in the counter. Sent the label one hour after and iphine/package is nowhere to be found.
Excellent, the service was top-notch.
Located near the airport, it offers convenient access to the SeaWorld and warships. The surrounding area is relatively safe, and parking costs $25 per day.

The rooms were very nice and clean, BUT one of the 3 rooms we got, smelled strongly of marijuana 🤢 Staff sent a cleaner in to help deodorize it and it helped but still did smell like marijuana. Kimberly was amazing and so incredibly helpful! She was very kind and understanding and did everything she could to help! I only rated a 3 bc of the smell.
Booked a room at this hotel to attend my brother’s graduation. This hotel is in a great location. Only 10 minutes away from the Marines' base. Kimberly checked us in. The room had an extremely strong musty smell. All of my clothes now stink after staying there just one night. Breakfast was below average but still ok, except coffee. It was very watered down and the dispenser was disgusting. Coffee in the room tasted rotten too. Can't recommend this hotel. Having this hotel booked for me by a third party and then reading the reviews afterwards, I had mixed thoughts of how my 5 night stay would turn out. Noise- yes it can be noisy if your room faces the freeway. Mine did but the noise wasn’t loud enough to keep me from sleeping. A sound machine via phone etc would be useful. Food- lots of complaints of food running out etc. The food was always stocked...
So I booked a King room and had to check in rather fast to get to our valentine's reservation so I never checked the room. We got back late and when we got to the room it was 2 queen not even close to the room we wanted. Wasn't made aware of any circumstances or told the room was changed.
The room was awful, located right below the breakfast area. It was extremely noisy; they shouldn't assign rooms like that.
Spacious room. there was also small firness at the third floor. During our stay, there are many guests, but the breakfast was filled up quickly. We wait for just less than few minutes to grab some.

Stayed here for event at Snapdragon Arena. Staff was very kind. Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Need to change up breakfast. Had same options for 4 days
Front staff was very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was a great convenience. Room was bigger than a standard hotel room. Property was clean and well maintained.
Very friendly staff, quick check-in, spacious room, and very clean! Great place to stay!
Breakfast was amazing but the rooms had a smell of dog urine and the beds were horrible the most uncomfortable I ever slept in
Overall nice stay, but a few things to know: Breakfast was difficult to access as very crowded and out of options. Parking charge is nuts. The pool is outdoors, so seasonal. Staff was nice and friendly. I’d say 3.5 out of 5. Nice area, easy highway access, lots of options for fiod and shopping
Only issues I had was AC was leaking, so rug underneath was wet. Notified hotel staff and they could not accommodate a new room, so they offered extra towel to place under. The Indian guy at the front desk provided excellent service and the room was also very good.
Good location, big room, kitchen, all utensils and cookware, cleaned every two days, please note that the room rate will soar during exhibitions. The view from the bar on the fifth floor is good.
The hotel is by the sea, and you can see the Midway warship from the sea view room. It's quite noisy outside at night, I don't know if it's because one side of the room is made of glass curtain walls. Super location to walk around La Jolla cove shops. Nice employees, totally recommended !!
It would be great if could offer breakfast!
I stayed for one night and had a pleasant experience overall. The facility is a bit older, but the room itself was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated how easy it was to switch to a quieter room—staff handled the request quickly and without any hassle. The bed was also surprisingly comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest. A solid stay for a short trip.
What a gem! Great staff, comfortable room and fantastic location. The fact that it was nicely decorated for the holidays was a plus! We will definitely be back for a mini vacation. We loved it here!
The parking fee is $20. I spent more than $60, but it was not refunded when I checked out. There was no consumption in the room.

Heather and Erik were incredibly hospitable from the moment we arrived. They greeted us warmly, took the time to answer all of our questions, and made sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness and attentiveness truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We really appreciated their welcoming nature and would gladly stay again.
The parking situation is somewhat inconvenient because the lot is detached from the hotel, making it difficult to transport luggage to the entrance after a long drive. While the room was clean and the staff was attentive, the studio layout was surprisingly cramped and felt significantly smaller than other studio hotels I have experienced.

The room was of moderate size. We only stayed one night. The facilities were complete, the transportation was convenient, the parking lot was large and free, and it was easy to check in. There was a public laundry room and dryer, but we didn't use them. There were small supermarkets on the front and back sides, which was convenient for shopping.
The location was convenient, within walking distance of the trolley station and a short Uber ride from the airport, but the security situation may be a little bad (if you're used to traveling abroad, it won't be a problem). The main reason I write this review is that they didn’t honor this prepaid reservation. They charged me at the higher new rate and asked me to try to get refund for the prepaid amount. I might go to court with them.
Not the best experience. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, and unfortunately I could not connect to the wifi.
