Came here for Business, loved the stay too much, Cant wait to come back in the next few weeks

The staff was so nice and very helpful. I flew in from Huntsville Al , didn’t know anything about San Diego. The picked me up from the airport and held my bags in a safe place until my party arrived. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I felt like a seasoned traveler when I left

Great place to stay near the airport! Although not 100% soundproof, I really only heard 2 planes max during my 3 night stay. Free breakfast was a plus, parking was never full and having a 24/7 fitness center was definitely a plus!

lost some items and left my iphone in the counter. Sent the label one hour after and iphine/package is nowhere to be found.

Excellent, the service was top-notch.

Located near the airport, it offers convenient access to the SeaWorld and warships. The surrounding area is relatively safe, and parking costs $25 per day.

The hotel is conveniently located close to SeaWorld San Diego and San Diego Harbor. It's also just over a 10-minute drive to visit the Aircraft Carrier Museum, and you can see the iconic 'Kissing Sailor' statue at the harbor.

I love the location of Fairfield Inn being next to Mission bay park, which features paved walkway for running and an outdoor gym. Absolute enjoyed running outdoors in Late Feb while the east coast was frozen solid under 2 ft snow. The free breakfast was good too.

Not the best. Outside was run down seemed sketchy. Hallway was dirty. Room was clean. It was very expensive for what you get.

Mattresses are super thin and somewhat uncomfortable. Parking is very scarce and the hallways are musty and super narrow/claustrophobic (same with the elevator). That being said the Staff are very polite and for the price point on Comic Con weekend it wasn't all that bad. A main door to building entrance was damaged and was kept open by putting a towel at the hinge, there was no security to room access.

It was fine. Not great, not the worst. It is the most economic in the area and it was a last minute booking so no complaints really. Toilet seat was loose and the fan in the bathroom didn’t work. It’s decent, that’s about it. Just go, sleep and leave. Not somewhere you want to spend days in, but decent.

The room was clean and definitely recently renovated. The beds were comfortable and staff was very friendly. The property was under renovation and once it’s done it will look great, but until then the hallway, stairs, and elevator are a little rundown. The water didn’t get hot but the front desk was very receptive to tell the maintenance.

The hotel staff at check in and the night crew were both very nice the room was nice except they did not supply the shampoo like they used to would recommend that they put grab bars in all bathroom tubs for overall safety of people who do not need accessible rooms yet but still need help getting out of tub. Stafford, extremely nice and the hotel itself is clean and decently maintained. My only complaint would be. I don’t see any mechanism to tell people if you don’t want the staff to come in your room during the day to clean. Normally you have something to hang on your door or you can request it. I was confused. Nowadays, most hotels only will go in your room if you request it. I didn’t see anything missing...

Place was decent a bit dusty in the room and the parking was very very tight but for a quick stay it was fine!

We had reserved a non-smoker room and they gave us a room that was obviously used by a smoker and we couldn’t sleep the first night. We had a terrible headache. I went to the office and told them we needed to change rooms for the above mentioned reason, and the gentleman was very accountable and said that he was sorry and gave us a second room that wasn’t much better shape for us.

They renovated it!!! Nice staff too! Good price for clean room! Great Upgrade done! Yes, if in the area again, I will check them out 1st.

Smelled like puke. Neighbors partied much of the night. It looked like everything was brand new but the layout was weird.

Nice place. Friendly staff. Restaurant was excellent. Paying for parking was the only thing i didn’t enjoy about it. But all in all excellent place to stay

The Handlery Hotel stay was great. Rooms were clean and the pool area was open even with the Rain on new year’s 2026. We got food and drinks from their pool area bar at a good price, the food was great. It’s a little outdated and it could use some upgrades or amenities added, but it had the San Diego look. One thing I would say is take out the Daily parking fee that is not added until you check in...

Wonderful weekend with my sweet man. We liked the amenities and restaurant and lounge (bartender was great).

I tried canceling my room because my daughter's plan changed. She was going into bootcamp and having a hard time. I understand their cancellation policy I just thought they would take into consideration the reason as to why I had to cancel. If not a full refund maybe a partial.

There is no elevator, so it is difficult to carry large luggage up to the second floor, but being able to do laundry is a great thing during a long trip. The bar is small but has drinks and food, and being able to eat by the pool was very convenient.

The tv reception was fuzzy at best. The pool bartenders were excellent!

Good location with In and Out & Mcdonald’s nearby. Convenient and safe parking place. Delicious breakfast. Generally, good. The only thing not good is only one small desk in the room. I get one toothbrush from receptionist.

It's old and poorly cleaned, but the location is perfect.

Breakfast doesn't have much verities. Garage entrance to hotel is misleading. There's no sign.

El Cordova is a historical type of hotel with lovely Spanish touches in the room I stayed in (#5) - Spanish tiles in the bathroom also a small kitchen area with a stove, microwave, and a refrigerator. I was also surprised that this room had a small living room in addition to the bedroom. Truly the hotel makes walking easy to Coronado beach as well as all of the stores and restaurants. We have enjoyed numerous stays at the El Cordova. The room we had this trip had some cleanliness issues including grungy bath floors & dirt build up on baseboards. The only towel bar was broken. They need to take room 118 out of service for a deep clean.

Property is beautiful with lots of shops all around with plenty of dining options all in walking distance. Highly recommended eating at Miguel’s as they have amazing food and drinks.

They make you pay a courtesy fee, even if you don’t use the amenities. No parking except for a small parking structure where other people take the parking.

This property surprised us. Clean, well-managed, and very well situated hotel across the street from the Hotel del Coronado. The room was spacious, clean, and had a small kitchen, which made our day! It is an old property lacking some accessibility options. The wi-fi is also very spotty, necessitating and room change. Otherwise, this was a very nice property we would stay at again.

Unfortunately, the alarm for the restaurant business went off all night long, keeping us up. The hotel tried to help the n the middle of the night but it took a while. All said, the hotel is a great location; walking distance to many great restaurants and hotel Del Coronado

La Jolla Cove Suites was a good experience. We had a nice room with a great view of the cove from the third floor. The area is VERY busy and crowded during the day but pretty mellow after dark. The sound of the seals can keep you awake, even with the slider closed, so bring earplugs!

I don’t know how I ended up paying nearly $800 for this poorly maintained cheap motel room. The bathroom is for tiny people, the elevator looks like it’s about to break and the ceiling of the hallway is falling apart. The only positive thing about this place is the location. Definitely not worth the price tag

Cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired; I found a used handkerchief on the floor. Perfect location.

The location of the accommodation was great, but the facilities and service were not that great.

The pictures are very misleading. I thought I was reserving a remodeled room at La Jolla Cove Suites and I was booked at the Terrace. The room was dirty, the toilet rocked when you sat on it, and furniture was old and worn.  Also , there was a crazy amount of stairs to climb to get to our room. In addition, there was also a roof top wedding right across from our room. We were not told of the event...

Amazing staff…. Great location…. Super clean!!!

Very low water pressure, very little hot water for the shower. Mattress could be rotated or just new Mattress. My bed saged down. But other than than that the room was great, very peaceful and quite.

Loved the staff very welcoming. Room was good and comfortable. Perfect location. This is our 3rd time here and definitely will come back.

I find the location very convenient to walk every where I want to go, and easy access to get transportation from it. unfortunately it gets very loud in the middle of the night and early morning...

An extremely clean and well kept vintage property. I loved the traditional hotel qualities, mended with modern amenities. A repeat stay is probable.

Great place to stay, especially if you travelling on budget. Staff is really friendly, rooms are clean, toilets are cleaned every day, kitchen is also quite clean. It is in a nice neighbourhood, lots of bars and party laces, close to many public transport stations. Would definately reccommend staying here.

Best hostel.. nice bathroom with music, very organized, clean, looks renovated, locker with charger inside, nice bed with charger, nice lounge, good staff, good breakfast ( coffee, juice, cream cheese, 3 types of bagel)

Nice and friendly staff. They have special activities every day and/or night. Great location. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The only con of this hostel is that rooms do not have windows, wich make it kinda hot during the night.

Quaint hostel sandwiched between two bars in the heart of the Gaslamp District. Had plenty of rooms, space, and accommodations. Even had daily events for guests to enjoy. Would stay here again
