Staff was polite. The room was great. It had everything from a stove to a microwave and even pots and pans to cook with.

This hotel did its job. We were only there for one night. Friendly staff and right in the middle of downtown.

In the center of San Diego, the location is good. There is a public parking lot opposite, and you can park for free for 30 minutes at the hotel entrance. The hotel's parking lot is shared with the Holiday Inn next door, which is very safe. The room is fully equipped with pots and pans, but the room is relatively small, everything else is ok

Room is great, but the bathroom needs improvement. The shower head switch and the drain is rusty. The drain stopper doesn’t work either.

Tried hotel when it opened in 2018 and glad to be back in summer 2024. Good location, remember that parking nearby is paid. Great location, close to multiple shops

Excellent, the service was top-notch.

The room was big, the bathroom was pretty spacious. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too soft and had no firmness. Breakfast was supposed to be a top seller but was pretty disappointing. Not much for hot food selections. There were four hot options, one was biscuits, one was gravy and the other two or just eggs. No bacon, no sausage. We were not here long. It was so close to the airport that when the airport shuttle was full and our cab didn't show, we walked to the airport and made it in plenty of time. Had a great stay. Nice accommodations. Closer to the airport, and free shuttle to the airport during most of the day.

Our flight left to early for breakfast. We was giving a to go bag. A muffin and danish would have been better. Or at least some cream cheese given with the bagel.

Located near the airport, it offers convenient access to the SeaWorld and warships. The surrounding area is relatively safe, and parking costs $25 per day.

I stayed for one night and had a pleasant experience overall. The facility is a bit older, but the room itself was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated how easy it was to switch to a quieter room—staff handled the request quickly and without any hassle. The bed was also surprisingly comfortable, which made for a good night’s rest. A solid stay for a short trip.

What a gem! Great staff, comfortable room and fantastic location. The fact that it was nicely decorated for the holidays was a plus! We will definitely be back for a mini vacation. We loved it here!

The parking fee is $20. I spent more than $60, but it was not refunded when I checked out. There was no consumption in the room.

Great location near downtown and airport, had a kitchen in room (just no oven). Room was clean and smelled fresh. Leticia was very kind and helpful. Only downfall is having to pay $15 for parking. Other than that my stay at extended stay was great and I already booked my room for next month ?

I had a reservation at another hotel while visiting San Diego and when I went to check in I was informed that they were overbooked so I was referred to extended stay. I informed the front desk of this mishap and was helped by the front desk receptionist who was very welcoming and helpful. She got us booked in and was a delight on a stressful day. The room was of moderate size. We only stayed one night. The facilities were complete, the transportation was convenient, the parking lot was large and free, and it was easy to check in. There was a public laundry room and dryer, but we didn't use them. There were small supermarkets on the front and back sides, which was convenient for shopping.

A hotel in a great location, walking distance to the water and Seaport Village. Very good service and clean. There is a large fridge and microwave! However the amenities are old and the bed sinks onwards. Overall a great value option.

It was conveniently located in Little Italy and the surrounding atmosphere was nice. The facilities were small and simple, but the staff were all friendly, so I had a great time staying there.

Hotel located in Little Italy. Very close to the restaurants and a walkable distance to bus and trolley stations. Room is small but clean. Has a hair dryer and iron. Did not seem to have room service included but it didn't bother me as I was only there for a short stay. In general a great place for a solo traveller to stay for a short time.

La Jolla Cove Suites was a good experience. We had a nice room with a great view of the cove from the third floor. The area is VERY busy and crowded during the day but pretty mellow after dark. The sound of the seals can keep you awake, even with the slider closed, so bring earplugs!

I don’t know how I ended up paying nearly $800 for this poorly maintained cheap motel room. The bathroom is for tiny people, the elevator looks like it’s about to break and the ceiling of the hallway is falling apart. The only positive thing about this place is the location. Definitely not worth the price tag

Cleanliness leaves a bit to be desired; I found a used handkerchief on the floor. Perfect location.

The location of the accommodation was great, but the facilities and service were not that great.

The pictures are very misleading. I thought I was reserving a remodeled room at La Jolla Cove Suites and I was booked at the Terrace. The room was dirty, the toilet rocked when you sat on it, and furniture was old and worn.  Also , there was a crazy amount of stairs to climb to get to our room. Clean but break fast simple to USA style

The hotel is conveniently located close to SeaWorld San Diego and San Diego Harbor. It's also just over a 10-minute drive to visit the Aircraft Carrier Museum, and you can see the iconic 'Kissing Sailor' statue at the harbor.

I love the location of Fairfield Inn being next to Mission bay park, which features paved walkway for running and an outdoor gym. Absolute enjoyed running outdoors in Late Feb while the east coast was frozen solid under 2 ft snow. The free breakfast was good too.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. The rooms are spacious and spotless, equipped with everything you need: a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and hairdryer. An extremely clean and well kept vintage property. I loved the traditional hotel qualities, mended with modern amenities. A repeat stay is probable.

The room was spacious and very clean. Maybe they upgraded me as a surprise without informing me—I’m not sure! 😇 I love the classic style of everything here. The location is also very convenient. There’s a health-focused supermarket called Krisp nearby, where you can buy healthy food and other essentials.

The transportation was convenient and there were many restaurants. The staff were polite and the check-in was smooth. The room was spacious and the amenities were plentiful. Since it is in the city, the engine noise can be loud at times, but that's okay.

Smelled like puke. Neighbors partied much of the night. It looked like everything was brand new but the layout was weird.

Clean room, modern, no shampoo though and for some god aweful reason every time they open the trash bin or something in the parking lot it sounds like a car crash outside the rooms. It woke us up twice during our stay and it was INSANELY loud.

This property has noisy guests. Fights broke out during my visit by two guests in same room.

Bed sheets were pretty stained up and the tub didn’t drain properly, but staff were really nice.

The room is newly renovated, the design is aesthetically pleasing, but the functionality needs to be improved.

Ann was an amazing host and the beautiful cosy house is in a great location. It felt beyond comfortable and was so calming and tranquil. Ann was beyond helpful and gave us lots of help and tips for places to visit. It was a perfect base for all that San Diego has to offer and we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed one night in the Balboa B room, and it was perfect size for a solo traveler. My room was in the back of the property with a view of the back parking spots. I wanted to visit some friends and on the recommendations of several other friends booked a long weekend at Hillcrest House B&B. I was definitely happy that I stayed there. The stay here was very pleasant! The host Ann goes out of her way to make you feel right at home! The neighborhood is also quite nice and is a short ride to anywhere in San Diego you want to go. I highly recommend staying here I promise you’ll not be disappointed!

Ann was an amazing hostess! She shared lots of tips not only for the San Diego area, but for several other cities we'll be visiting on our trip. We stayed in the Zoo Room and were very pleased with all of the cozy accomadations. We had coffee on the front porch every morning to start our day. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Not the best experience. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, and unfortunately I could not connect to the wifi. I am very satisfied with all aspects of the hotel. It is very clean and the waiters are very good. It would be even better if the hotel's elevators were running normally! I will still choose this hotel next time I go there.

Ants in the bathroom the first night. In my opinion the room and bathroom needs updating. Late night check wasn't great. Desk clerk gave us no information about the hotel, breakfast hours ect. Charged for parking even though we had no car. Front desk did remove charge

Staff was respectful and the room was clean. In the bathroom there was a problem on the shower head because it was loose. The water was spraying on the ceiling.

This hotel is across the street from Waterfront Park which is safe, clean and beautiful. And, just beyond the park is San Diego's Embarcadero with the Maritime Museum, tall ships and good restaurants. I asked for a room with a bayside view and really appreciated it.
