Very nice facility. But was not informed about parking $21 a day and no microwave.

Our front desk attendant (young woman) was excellent. Friendly, cheerful and helpful. Our shuttle driver was personable and informative. The meal we had in the Lounge was delicious and the bar/lounge attendant was very helpful and attentive.

This hotel is tricky what makes it special and lucky is when you get a room with an amazing view we’ll let me tell you we were lucky enough to get a balcony view of the harbor! Friendly teams of helpers etc and front desk people great house keeping just fantastic stay here for great value great location comfy beds.

The customer service was wonderful. The room was nice did have this chemically clean sent I didn’t know if it bothered me or not. But overall great stay.

The Ocean Park Inn  was great! Fantastic location ＞ on the beach and in the middle of a lot of action but quiet rooms -at least ours were. Very clean large-ish rooms and hotel in general with an adequate breakfast, pool and hot tub included. It was perfect for us!

The room was nice, but it smelled damp. I guess it's because it's been there for a long time! It's very convenient to go to the beach. The kids like the American breakfast very much. Parking is free. The location was excellent. the room was nice and had lovely Starbucks coffee + a coffee machine which was a very nice touch for me.

I stayed for a total 6 nights here. My flight arrived early in the morning and they offered me an early check-in even without requesting earlier. Enjoyed my stay here, the room is big. The breakfast is complimentary and it is tasty.

5 minutes to old town. Plenty of parking lots, but not guaranteed to be available to all hotel guests. Breakfast is limited. Coffee is above average. The overall hotel facilities and room quality is overstated in description and photo. Do not expect too much, even at this price.

I stayed one night here for sightseeing in San Diego and to watch a Padres baseball game. The hotel is in a very convenient location, within walking distance of the stadium and with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room was clean and spacious enough for a solo traveler. Breakfast was also provided, including yogurt and fruit.

Staff were super sweet when I arrived last minute late due to my other accommodations not working out. Check in was smooth and quick. Once entering my room it was perfectly put in place and was able to reset/refresh feeling safe & comfortable. Loved the water in room as well!

Great stay excellent concierge and staff experience. My only thing to note was their not being a microwave for guest to use. This can be helpful even for guest traveling with kids

Okay hotel for price room key kept breaking after one use so had to go to reception every time! Paper thin walls so fingers crossed you don’t have a screaming child next door like us!

Clean room, soft and comfortable bed. Choose a room with 2 beds (5 foot bed). There is a microwave, safe, iron, refrigerator. Breakfast 6-9am has bread, waffles, bagels, cereal, milk, juice, oranges, apples, boiled eggs. Room deposit $10 charged by credit card and refunded the next day. Plenty of parking, safe.

We were in town to welcome home our daughter whose in the navy, the hojo was decently priced and in a convenient location for easy travel to the naval base.

Overall the rooms are comfortable and the hotel has a nice aesthetic. Room was clean but some mold was visible in the bathroom because of poor ventilation. Book it, you’ll love it. Stayed in a family suite with our 4 year old. The pull out couch in the living area and a door separating the bedroom was a big plus for us. You don’t have a great view of the ocean from the first floor but we were fine with that trade off. You’re steps from the beach and amazing food. Service was really exceptional. Location was fantastic, and despite being right on the boardwalk and being on the first floor, it was very quiet and you could not hear anything from the room. Personally, I feel that it is not worth the price. It is too late to check in at 4 pm. The hotel is very small, the swimming pool and hot spring are very small, and the room is relatively large, otherwise I can't find any advantages 😄

Odd building.  Narrow hallways, maze like.  Elevator is tiny.  Room was small and cramped.  Unpleasant combination of elevator, hallways and stairs to get to our room.   Nice simple snack shop in lobby.  Nice pool.  $50 deposit on a card when you check in.  I wanted to hate the place because of the building design but didn’t.

Check in went smooth, the parking lot is very small and hard to get my midsize truck in and out, but it was free parking. The room was nice but kind of old. Not updated really. A LOT of traffic trying to maneuver in and out of the drive ways. A bit of traffic noise. But all in all worth a night.

The room has a microwave, which is very useful. Breakfast was average, with eggs and meat, and enough to fill you up. The room was above average in cleanliness, but the soundproofing was poor; you could clearly hear the door across the hall opening and closing.

The front desk worker, Sheila was truly a heavensend. We showed up late but she was professional and helpful. She had an amazing attitude. Inly complaint is the location is extremely secluded, which is peaceful but is difficult to navigate and i was unable to find a walkable path out of the area.

The beds were uncomfortable, the mini fridge didn’t work. But other than that the staff was very nice and very helpful.

Room was under whelming, strong smell of cleaning products. Room was only cleaned every other day even though room service was requested. Still a decent stay for the price. Not the best part of town and also the last few days were terrible due to very very noisy second floor renters.

We encountered an issue at check in... we were assigned a room that had not yet veen cleaned from the previous guest. They did assign a new one, but it was smaller. Overal our stay was ok, however, we thought the rate we were given was all we hadbto pay. We were surprised with a deposit we were not counting on, and were told a refund of said deposit would take several days after our check out.
