The room decor was beautiful, though a few details need updating after happy use by many guests. These details didn't impact my happiness much. Everyone on the team was super nice, which added to the positive experience
This was the best value hotel stay we have had in San Francisco in 20+ years of traveling here on business. We found ourselves wandering all of the floors reading the extensive and priceless memorabilia in this hotel
It seemed to us that every employee has worked there for decades! The Club is right in the heart of San Francisco and convenient to every destination. The value is exceptional and would recommend to everyone
This place is perfect for a relaxing stay, and I would recommend it to friends, family, and colleagues. I am very likely to return on my next visit to the area. The gym has excellent, new equipment
Everyone smiled and made me feel welcome; I could not have asked for more. My husband and I had a great stay at Marines' Memorial. Eda was fantastic, and Nikita at the front desk was super helpful
Additionally, Jerome Clay was very talented and a great entertainer. I would recommend this hotel to friends, family, and colleagues, and I am very likely to return on my next visit to the area

Super sus location but nice pool and gym
But, to my comfort, there are corner units that are the cat's meow for privacy seekers like myself. I got to be a guest for 10 days and appreciated the Americania's staff- lead by a very nice day manager (Charlie?)
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel at Union Square. The location is very good, close to the center and easy to access nearby attractions. The room was comfortable, and the toilet was clean and well maintained
Everything it’s was service and the hotel it’s was nice and the very clean hotel very quiet .. stuff very friendly and helpful
We experienced several infrastructure issues, including loud bathroom fan noise (even after changing rooms), a TV remote not working due to battery problems, and occasional elevator outages, which caused inconvenience for both guests and staff
We were very satisfied with the staff’s service and the simple breakfast, which had a small but well-curated selection. However, it would be helpful to inform guests in advance that connecting rooms are not available

Loved the vicinity of Ghirardelli Square. Took the cable car here (loved the cable cars) and then walked around. Definitely recommend!
Excellent hotel personal at the main door very helpful
I’ve been to San Francisco many times over the years and stayed in several high-end properties. This property is by far the best place I have stayed in the city and will be back.
Lovely place to stay Loved our stay here. Location was perfect for our trip, close to the Wharf. The staff is amazing and accommodated every request. We will definitely return!
The only drawback is that we encountered an air conditioning failure, which affected our rest, but after coordination, the hotel gave full compensation
Stayed here for NYE with family, great stay, great location, would stay again. Worth the extra for the view.

Very convenient going around downtown shopping centres and China town. Very safe walking in the neighbourhood. Breakfast served in the hotel is good enough. Lot of choices of good restaurants within walking distance
Tour buses pick up stop is at union square less than 5 mins to walk to. A mini store right opposite to the hotel to get drinks snacks etc. Will choose this hotel again when I come next time
I was charged a NIGHTLY AMENITY FEE at checkout, which wasn't clearly mentioned during the booking process. I'm not sure if it's an issue with the hotel or trip-dot-com. It definitely felt a bit like being overcharged
The room was nice and clean but smelled slightly like cigarette smoke. We went to hang towels on the towel rack and the rack came completely out of the wall
The room was great value for money. The breakfast at the restaurant was also delicious! The staff were very patient in answering all my questions, thank you!
I was impressed with the service. The room was nice. Small, but perfect for my needs. Great pillows and comfy bed.

the rooms were clean and the hotel was very decent for a budget hotel I run a charity so I try to look for a clean and decent place to say that doesn't cost too much. I'll be definitely staying here in the future
The staff was great , the room had more than I expected like a coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer , and toiletries. Bart is just a block and a half away
There are homeless people outside but sometimes the staff will offer to walk you if you are worried about your safety
This was a great value for a budget hotel. I have read some negative reviews but that was not my experience
Stayed for two days. I felt uncomfortable on the first day. There were many homeless people around. The breakfast was small and simple. The room and bed were OK. I got used to it on the second day and felt it was OK.
Convenient location for SOMA events. Thin walls, however.

Nestor on the front desk was so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again if I find myself back in San Francisco
The staff was friendly and helpful, the adjacent bar and restaurant were top notch, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay
Excellent boutique Hotel! Kudos to Nestor who was awesome.
I had a great stay at the Warwick, my room was spotless, location great - easy to get to all the tourist spots and the public transit system when I wanted to go further afield
Also other individuals that stand out and give exceptional customer service are Steve, Gonzalo, Britney, Denise, Alberto they all provide great customer service, super helpful and friendly due to this great customer service
We had a wonderful stay at the Warwick San Francisco. The hotel has a classic charm, very clean and well maintained. The room was comfortable, quiet, and cozy — perfect for relaxing after a long day in the city

Also, a special thank you to Bikram who was most helpful when I left my AirPods behind and he organised for them to be returned to me!
Great location. Staff very friendly and courteous with good memory to remember guests.
Rooms are neat and clean, and the hotel is elegant and noble, it’s the famous Westin near the Union Square, great location
Nice location. Easy to get around and great food. Hotel facilities are great
Travel weary guests might appreciate a more expedited check in process, especially for those who pre-paid. The $20/day food coupon and complimentary bottles of water were a lovely touch
We had a fantastic stay at the Westin St Francis. It exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it. The hotel and suite itself were amazing, but more importantly, it was the service that really impressed us

Building is classic Victorian style if you want to enjoy and experience the true SFO. Location is top of the hill with Trader Joe at walking distance.
Enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Loved the fact you can open widows and  let fresh air in. Watching and hearing the rain from our room was magical.
Our stay at Nob Hill Hotel was unexpectedly great. Although it’s a little far from Union Square, the walk was very tolerable
Comfortable stay. Was actually very quiet at night; had our windows open and slept very well.
Amazing room in a great spot in the city! Will definitely be booking here more often.
It was 2 sheets sandwiching the duvet so I was concerned about the hygiene. Unsure if this is an American style of bedding. The coffee machine in the lobby was fantastic. Lattes and hot chocolate were high quality

Perfect location it's about a mile from Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown etc The hotel and they are decent, the staff is super nice and friendly and helpful. Have a nice pool area nice gym and they have laundry
Small but nice pool not sure if heated Gym small but good Not sure about breakfast looks closed Laundry outside
Location is very good and staff is nice. The hotel is a refurbished motel. Had to ask to have the room cleaned or restocked with towels multiple times.
It would have been great if they had left enough towels for all 3 of us (My kid needs a towel too) but again we could make do
This is a great place! The rooms are big and clean, plus they have free parking, which is amazing I'm glad they have free Wi-Fi, because my signal is weak when in the room

Such a fun one-night staycation at the legendary Phoenix Hotel. Cool sexy room, warm dip in the iconic pool and fun in the courtyard with friends
Rooms definitely need some updating. It’s probably an electrical fire waiting to happen. Cool eclectic vibes. It had a cute courtyard and our girls enjoyed the pool.
California Mid-Century Modern bones through and through. Can imagine a hopping scene poolside or at the bar/restaurant when the weather is warm. Great shower with nice aroma-therapy toiletries
We got there early in the day and expected to have them hold our bags and return later to check in but they gave us a happy surprise when they said they had a room available for us
Large, clean rooms with updated bathrooms, modern amenities, great connectivity for work, and best of all, a welcoming and always friendly staff
Loved the on site parking directly in front. The staff was excellent. I really wanted to go in the heated pool. Check in and check out times are absolutely fabulous.

I came here solo as my apartment was being cleaned up for the day, it was a perfect location for me to get some rest after a very long flight; I like how clean it is, it's very simple though small, it's perfect for solo travelers looking to visit San Francisco
My experience at the Touchstone Hotel was nice and comfortable. The room had a welcoming, fresh smell. The beds could be a bit softer, but overall comfort was good. The experience really depends on the room you book
The hotel has a classic charm and, while it's older, it's very well maintained and clean. The bedding was also comfortable. It is walking distance to so many places. The rooms also have their own private bathrooms
The staff was pretty chill and very responsive when service was needed. The entire building felt secure, with door codes and key card access, which made me feel safe in the city that never sleeps—literally
The front desk staff were always in a great mood and greeted us with a smile anytime we passed the front desk. They helped us within a few minutes any time we had any questions
I had a terrific stay at Touchstone Hotel. The room was spotless, and the staff was courteous. I highly recommend this hotel!

Over delivers for the price. The mobile check in with no front desk is awesome. Sweet bar near by. Not loud. Just good drinks. Stay with confidence.
Besides all of that I'd definitely stay here again. It was right across the street from China Town and I found it to be a good location
Hotel des Arts is only 2 Star but it is quite stylish, clean and reasonably priced
The bar below closes at 2am, bring ear plugs or skip this amazing art hotel if you are too sensitive. I can't wait to come back and stay in another cool room
The location is very good and central, importantly close to the Cafe de la Press where even a spoiled European can find the Cappuccino and specifically the Croissants very good
A pond around the toilet until I 'swept' the water to the drain

You have to make sure there's one if you want or need it. The lounge has microwave, free fresh coffee, snack and drink machines, and a nice area to sit, to eat, to study. Small grocery stores and cafes really closeby
Great view of China Town dragon gate entry, art studios, French cafes. Fabulous location, can walk almost anywhere or take a bus. ! Rooms do NOT all come with a mini fridge
It's great to be prepared to walk up and down lots of hills if you stay here or almost anywhere in this city. If you expected a mini fridge but didn't get one , the staff let us put our food in the staff fridge
Loved this place!! Clean, quiet, respectful. For sharing a bathroom and shower, we never had to wait and having our room right across the hall made it feel like ours almost
Everything is very clean (and even new-looking), the location is great, the lobby is small but efficiently designed and inviting, and Wendy at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful and friendly
The best location in the heart of Little Italy! Manager Vince was incredibly kind and assisted us with all our needs, and Macy was also wonderful…will definitely return!

The rooms are small but the bed is very large and comfortable. The bathroom is bright and clean. There is no noise because my room faces the back of the hotel. Breakfast is amazingly tasteful and rich
A few blocks away from the main square. Near amenities, super markets, bars, restaurants, cinemas, shops, buses, metro station. There are some homeless people outside the hotel but they are harmless
Ohhh! The best hotel breakfast in town. Staff is smiley and very helpful. The price is worthy and overall it is a good bargain
Not a 4 star hotel. But for the price, it was conveniently located. Rooms were clean and bigger than the one i had at the sir Francis Drake. Staff was friendly. And there is a parking garage RIGHT next door.
Building was rather old but decently renovated, and had a certain charm to it. Everything seemed relatively clean. Nice modern lobby with plenty of seating to eat and relax
One small complaint is that I was not able to get cell service in my room, and the hotel wi-fi was not very fast, and I frequently got disconnected

Decent price for clean decent sized rooms. Continental breakfast offered. Pool too. Nice staff.
There is no tea or tea making facilities. Be great if they took that off their website (tea needs boiling water, not coffee maker hot water). Room smelled a little like... dog? or damp? But it was clean and comfy.
Great clean rooms at an affordable price! Staff was incredibly kind and friendly. Also left my airpods after the stay and they held it for me at the location so I could pick it up. 10/10 would recommend.
This hotel is always featured on the big name hotel booking sites and typically the rooms can get down to 50% of the original price Great for a cheap stay with moderate amenities but there are more exciting places in better locations in San Francisco
Easy to access, right off freeway, and in a safe area. Arrived and my room wasn't clean yet, but they cleaned it well. Rooms weren't gross or smelly, and front desk was helpful
If you are local to the area and need a reasonably priced clean place to say then this is for you

The location is another major highlight. It’s close to great shopping, very central to public transportation, and perfectly situated for hopping in a cab and being almost anywhere within ten minutes
There’s also a fabulous bar on the penthouse level with sweeping city views that is incredibly chic. Staying here over New Year’s Eve was a delight — the hotel was lively, full of energy, and such a fun place to be
One of the nicest parts of the hotel is the lobby bar, which also serves excellent food and has fantastic bartenders — especially Tony! The front desk staff was always helpful and welcoming
Would absolutely stay here again. This is truly a beautiful hotel. It has classic architectural features, but everything has been fully renovated and feels very modern
The beds were extremely comfortable, and we had a room with a view, which was absolutely worth it. The room itself was a great size as well
I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would gladly return

I can understand that the key system is a bit confusing with using the phone app to unlock your door, but the front desk was prompt and kindly offered a physical key to my friend who was staying with me while my app worked
Had a great stay at the Hayes Valley Inn. The location couldn't be more perfect, and I was impressed with how clean the rooms were
The toilet and shower was separate from the room like a hostel, but I never ran into any issues with them being full
I would say you get what you pay for but I paid too much for this stay. The housekeepers work hard but were knocking on the door at 8:30am which seemed a bit early, especially when I was due to check out anyway at 11am
The area is okay, it’s centrally located and has some bustling restaurants but I explored nicer ones and it’s a bit close to some more sketchy parts
The shared bathroom was old and a bit gross. Guests seemed to sit on a chair that was right outside my room at night which was a bit odd

There was construction the day we arrived in a room close to us, but workers were very polite and apologetic and finished the noise around 5pm. Didn't continue the next day so that was nice and we slept in
Location is great for visiting the pier - but if you want to do anything downtown - it’s quite far away. Handy to have a 7-11 across the road. No laundry facility, but the daily housekeeping was nice
Showing it's age and there's a few things that are overlooked in terms of cleanliness but I'm in the business and have an eye for these things. Room seemed updated and the fans were appreciated as there's no A/C
Great location Super near to Fisherman’s Wharf and Pier 33 boat to Alcatraz island. There is seven eleven near hotel. Inside the bedroom really clean  Outside need to be renovated

Great room. Not far from the nearest BART station (10 minutes walk) and not a far walk from shopping district either. Staff very polite and friendly. Their king sized bed is the most comfortable bed I've ever been in.
Building and furniture is old but clean. Only two towels initially provided. No fridge or microwave or air conditioning. Slept with the window open but the nights were cool enough
Hotel room is really big and the price is reasonable, but the toilet is abit dirty
My kids enjoyed their stay. So clean and the beds are so comfortable.
The room I was given the first night was the worst one imaginable, but the room I got the next day was much better! Perfect for solo travelers who want to come back and sleep soundly!

The mattress was springs, but we didn't mind. The window in the room actually opened which was nice to cool off the room, but the window had no screen
Most people wouldn't give five stars, but if you don't mind outdated fixtures and decor, then this place is for you
There's a secure parking garage included in the rate! Huge for SF! The nightly rate itself was absolutely reasonable and a great deal overall. There is a patio area where you can get enjoy some secluded outdoor time
It looks and feels a little run down but overall we'd probably stay here again. Also, they offer free parking
Bed was comfortable, pillows were a bit flat, but not terrible
A little loud at times at night, but you're in SF - a big city - it's unrealistic to expect perfect quiet! The Oasis Inn is what you see advertised, which worked for is and our budget perfectly!
