The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale

The hotel is clean enough and we received a nice welcome on arrival. However the room service was ‘hit and miss’ with non replacement of creamer and tea bags and a rather confusing charge of $7 for water left in the room which was placed on top of a notice urging us to hydrate drink more with the blessing of the hotel! The charge was retracted on challenge which was nice.
The breakfast arrangement is absolutely carnage with at least a 20 min wait to be seated followed by a 60 min wait to receive your food. The hotel does not prioritise its guests so you are at constant challenge of ‘walk-in’ guests taking precedent to be served. We found this unacceptable. We did challenge the excessive wait time but to be told the kitchen was totally backed up and we were not the only ones! Pool terrace was nice and a welcoming space and staff did their best but appear to be chronically understaffed which lets the hotel down badly. We would not stay again u less this was resolved.

Whatever you do, ask to be away from the elevator! We were only there for one night but got a room next to elevator and the noise is quite insane. You could hear the elevator all night

The hotel is very clean and located in a good area. Love the easy access to the beach. The front staff are fantastic. The only downfall in my opinion is I would have liked more variety in the restaurant options, if you don’t like Mexican you are very limited. The breakfast was very good. Overall, the stay was fantastic and we will be back.

This was a very nice hotel with many nice amenities. My biggest issue is that there was only valet parking which they charged you 60 dollars a night plus tax bringing up the overall cost of the stay. This left us with a bitter taste as we were leaving.

The hotel has a great location and nice facilities. Everything was clean and well maintained. The front desk staff and pool attendants were all very friendly and helpful. Pool towels and umbrellas are provided for free, while beach umbrellas cost $30 but can be used from morning until 5 p.m. Beach chairs are free.

Overall, the hotel offers good value for money — the Wi-Fi is fast, and the environment is quiet and tidy. The only downside is that the bottled water in the room costs $7 each. I didn’t notice the label at first and ended up drinking several bottles of water before realizing it. Also, the mini-fridge in my room seemed to be leaking a bit.

Excellent service in the lobby and with the manager! I highly recommend it. Great location and excellent breakfast!

Best beach resort vacation we've had yet. The view from the impeccable room was awesome and the hotel amenities were great. What put our stay over the top was the professionalism of the staff! Kudos and many thanks to the following: William, Storm, Angie, and the dark skinned parking valet. And lastly, don't ever lose Linda, our beach yoga instructor. My husband tried yoga for the first time and immediately felt the difference in his body. We can't thank you all enough and will definitely visit you again!

We had a great stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect. Walking distance to many restaurants, night life, and shopping. The pool and beach were beautiful. Pool bar and food was also very good. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay and will be coming back again in the Spring!

Wonderful stay at the Westin Fort Lauderdale! Great beachfront location with easy access via a quick walk over the bridge—super convenient. The pool was heated, family-friendly, and not overly crowded (just make sure to grab seats early!). Our one-bedroom suite was comfortable and offered a perfect view of the Fourth of July fireworks. The hotel isn’t brand new but is updated, clean, and has a welcoming feel.

There’s a Starbucks and gym downstairs, plenty of coffee options, and the breakfast was tasty. Valet was quick and the only practical parking option. The beach section felt nicely reserved for guests, though umbrellas do come with an extra fee. Friendly staff made the experience even better! Only downside—no lounge for Platinum members. Overall, an awesome spot for a relaxed family beach getaway!

I stayed at the Westin hotel with my family for quite couple of days, and we had a fantastic experience and a lot of fun. Andre and Facundo at the front desk were exceptional. They were incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure all our needs were met. We had a flight delay which made us check in really late. But, their professionalism and warm hospitality really stood out. The location is great, making it easy to explore the area. Thanks to them, our stay was even more enjoyable. We definitely plan on coming back!
